NINTENDO ANNOUNCES LIMITED EDITION THE LEGEND OF ZELDA™: SKYWARD SWORD BUNDLE
Get your limited edition bundle featuring a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the music CD featuring selected songs from The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony and a golden Wii Remote™ Plus controller bearing the Hylian Crest
30th August 2011: 2011 is the year of Zelda with Nintendo celebrating 25 years since the beginning of the critically-acclaimed franchise. The Legend of Zelda™ was first released on the Nintendo Entertainment System™ a quarter of a century ago this year, and to help celebrate this occasion Nintendo are releasing a limited edition pre-order bundle for the latest instalment in The Legend of Zelda franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, coming to Europe on 18th November 2011.
Games in The Legend of Zelda series invite players to explore vast environments, solve puzzles and battle enemies in a fantasy world. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword continues this tradition, but transforms the experience by using the Wii Remote Plus controller to offer even more precise control.
A special limited edition bundle is available to fans who pre-order their software* and features a copy of the game, a CD featuring selected orchestral arrangements of iconic music spanning the history of the franchise that will be performed as a part of the The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony** performance, and a rare golden*** Wii Remote Plus controller bearing the Hylian Crest.
Fans who purchase the game early at launch will receive a copy of the game and a copy of the music CD available in the limited edition bundle. You’ll need to be quick off the mark, as this game and CD ‘special ’ edition’ is only available while stocks last****.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will let players guide Link on a multi-layered journey blending intense ground-based adventures with breathtaking exploration above the clouds as Link glides through the skies on the back of a majestic bird. For the first time in a Zelda game you can use Wii MotionPlus technology to precisely control flight and experience a distinctly unique combat system as you analyse enemy attack and defence moves, counteracting each assault with precise and intuitive movements of the sword. Fans who pre-order the limited edition bundle will be able to get their hands on the exclusive gold Wii Remote Plus included within the bundle and watch it faithfully replicate the angle of every sword slice.

Awesome!!!
one step closer to Australasia
Sold!
Sweet.
Bought!
I think I'll take the same attitude as Nintendo of Europe and say I'll buy it, but then not actually bother, just like they've done with the Ambassador Tool.
Any idea who the participating retailers are?
Chances are it'll be GAME exclusive. In which case, expect the price to be horribly inflated.
I'm sorry but if Europe gets the Wii RPGs they don't deserve Zelda at all. We Americans need to be able to say we have something unique!
OK, just kidding, but you people better still be buying up Xenoblade.
waiting for amazon.de to get the LE up for preorder. for now it's just the standart edition.
i'm waiting......!
PRICE? America got its price - oh wait, in Europe retail always decides Nintendo prices

@XCWarrior: Trauma Team
@tealovertoma and @Wheels2050 Yeah, go ahead and rub the salt in the wound a little deeper. A racing game and a hospital game do not equal 1 RPG, let alone 3.
I want that Wiimote! I need more of them!
Nice package. I think I have to pre-order it then.
I wonder if Europe is getting a different boxart.
To be completely honest, i care more about the gold wii remote than the game itself.
@XCWarrior: well if you go back a generation or two there's plenty of RPGs we've missed out on (Chrono Trigger, anyone? Prior to the DS release at least).
It's certainly unfortunate that you're not getting them currently, but if you really want to you can find a way to play them... Importing's certainly pretty simple given the prevalence of online stores etc.
Did not expect anything else.
I'm in too, I will one or two as they will be collectors items.
That looks absolutely fantastic. I'm definitely getting it. Too bad you can't buy more than one 'Zelda remote', I wanted two. Oh well.
So now, all US gamers can go back to complaining about Xenoblade (Operation Rainfall) guilt-free!
Honestly, there's no way they weren't releasing this everywhere. If anything, more install base for M+.
I love the box art!
It's up on order on Zavvi now for £40.
Unless you preorder it from GAME online, in which case, you'll probably be promised loads of content, but end up with something much less.
I'm assuming you have to walk into a bricks and mortar building rather than get it on their online shop.
@HighWinter (24) Zavvi says £49.95 on the site as far as I can see.Do you have a Link £40 I would have snapped it up ,£50 seems a bit too steep.
Anyone seen anywhere else doing pre-orders for the bundle???
@UltraGamer (17) LOL Me too. Not sure if that's good or bad though! o_0
Good.
If it's coming to Europe then it's probably coming to Australia... and if it's not then my copy is anyway. =P
I've just got one thing to say. Link, take your pants off! D:<
@everyone: No preorder needed in order to get the bundle in America, am I right???
@7ATalavera:
I don't think you need to preorder, but I did anyway. I am not risking to have all supplies sold by the time it is released in stores.
not that i know of. in the press release they didn't say we had to preorder to get the bundle but still it's probably a good idea to preorder it anyways so you don't chance not getting it when it comes out. The only thing that you don't get unless you preorder is the CD i think but i could be wrong
I cannot see why this wouldn't be available for pre-order online from GAME as Flingsmash and Wii Play Motion were. If so I expect a £50 online price; maybe £60, but either way I want that golden remote!
@Luigi78
Sorry, it seems you had to be a little faster. They quickly bumped the price up to £60 and then down a bit to £50.. which I think will stick as the standard price.
Worth paying attention to other sites to see if they go lower, it'll likely be another case of supermarkets and Amazon trying to undercut each other, so I'm sure somewhere will get it back down to £40.
I knew the controller would be bundled! Would have been even better if it also came with a golden nunchuck, but that would have made the package to expensive. I think I'll go for this bundle. The controller looks cool. I already have a wiimotion+ unit, but this is easier for when I have to replace the batteries! So only participating shops will have the bundle? In that case I think I have to order it at my specialized shop (assuming that they have it)!
Also, yeah for the CD! Hopefully it has more content then the Mario anniversary collection CD, but still a nice bonus!
Very nice box-art too! I wonder if the European one will be the same!
I also wonder if the Skyward sword disc will be dual-layered, but we just have to wait and see!
