I was so happy when the yellow controller came out. I hadn't been able to have one for a console before or since. I love the colour yellow, and there is a severe lack of yellow in consoles ( the only other yellow gaming item I have is my yellow dsiXL. Thank you Nintendo for being more adventurous with the colour options.

the file is huge. It just halved the remaining space on my 3DS and took about a fifth of my XLs space. Ah well, it is worth it.

Anyway, it is a fun title and the single player (although slightly different control to the gamecube single player) plays quite well

totally forgot about Beetle Adventure Racing. I consider it to be the best racing game ever. The tracks were animated and varied, the vehicles had nifty physics and it had a neat multiplayer (beetle battle, Dr. Seuss would be so proud). Not to mention the colour changing alien beetle and pulling other cars over with the police beetle. I remember they reskinned it as holden HSV racing, but the cars didn't match the rest of the game (besides, VW is better than Holden anyway. prepare for backlash).

me and my friend always rented 3 titles for the 64: Rouge Squadron (we played it the most despite its lack of multiplayer. We would take turns on levels), Mario Kart 64 (moo moo farm ftw) and Goldeneye. I now have Mario Kart in the VC, and the other two in cart form. My all time favorite was Conker's Bad Fur Day. Everything about that game was awesome. It was the first thing I ever purchased online. I have never laughed so hard from a video game before or since, and it only got funnier over the years as I watched all the movies it references. Singing along with the great mighty poo was so memorable. The worst thing about Rares downfall (I know they they are still around, but they aren't really) is that we probably wont see a squeal (on any console).

Re: Feature: Staff Memories of the Game Boy Advance

I missed out on the gameboy colour, so when I got my transparent blue (or purple, I am colour blind) GBA the thing that hit me was how cool my original gameboy games looked with the addition of colour. It is funny that I didn't buy a gameboy colour game until about 10 years later because I was busy buying a sizable GBA collection. I can still remember my motion sickness educing sessions with Doom on the GBA, it is the only game I have ever felt sick playing (it was the colour pallet I think).
