Bright yellow for the win.
I purchased a DSiXL for the sole reason that it came in yellow. I didn't need one, but I had wanted a yellow console since I have been playing games (way back to the NES days)

I use this site for decisions regarding purchases of downloadable games, so the extra info on the games in the eshop doesn't really help me. That being said the 3D trailers will be cool
As long as there is loads of good content in the store I will be happy. So any new features that improve developers ability to produce quality product (such as removing size restrictions), I want.

not holding my breath for anything like this to happen in NZ

I hope that doesn't mean that players who stop playing are removed because they are not there in the new season.

I remember Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey on N64 had a player with my last name (which was rare and hasn't happened since). Now when he stopped playing and was overwritten in an update, I would be gutted.

the 3DS price has gone up since launch in NZ. At the start the recommended price was $450 so that what the store I got it from was selling it for. Now you can only get it for $490 everywhere.

if your digital download only console gets stolen or dies, you loose all your games

If you have physical medium, there is a chance that you will still have the games

is there going to be a dsi component to the eshop?
If not, is it possible to gift a dsi game from a european dsi to an australian dsi? They are both PAL but belong to different Nintendos for releases.

no dsi for us. either the update is late or wayfoward stiffed us again (shakes fist and swears)

I think it will be fun and interesting to use the gyro for targeting. But it very good that have the circle pad to fall back on if it goes pear shaped.

I hate the idea of all games being downloadable content. If your console gets stolen and all you have is downloadable content, then you loose everything. If you have retail games, then you at least are left with something.

why didn't they add a wally randomization thingo that puts wally in a different place each playthrough? that would make the game infinitely playable.

mario would look nothing like he does if he was created today; it was difficult to make a mouth so they gave him a mustache, it was hard to do hair so they gave him a hat.
