Re: Hands On: Waging War With Valkyria Chronicles 4

Thaswizz

I can't wait for this game to come out, with announcement of wasteland as well and pillars of eternity my rpg thirst is being quenched! I played first valkrie chronicles on ps3 and it was one best strategy games I've played and it's story was amazing rivaled Fire emblem I it's mix between war and politics.

Going to have to double time beating Xenoblade before they come out It's funny how people complained we had no 3rd party and now people are saying we have to much 3rd party and not enough first. We are getting quality games and very often so I have no problem with it. I love you switch and my games, he'll some 3rd party games get more play time then 1st party

Re: Video: The Unsung Heroes of the Nintendo Switch eShop

Thaswizz

I think Earthlock Festival of Magic should be on this list. It is such a fun and engaging rpg. I have beat it once and went back did all the sidequests. Turn based combats great, as is the story entertaining, and also crafting system how it utilizes a unique gardening system.

The whole game is really great, wish it got more coverage. Also some dlc with secret dungeons wouldn't hurt me

Re: Paladins Confirmed For Nintendo Switch Launch Next Week

Thaswizz

@JaxonH Also Paladins was in development before overwatch and they released concept art before over watch was even released.

Paladins is a great game and it's his level play is very competitive. It doesn't really need chat, but I wish it would have it. If you know your roles in the game it smooths out. On Xbox I was unlocking all characters without spending a dime, but a lot of new characters now.
Either way I'm excited, I almost bought battle chasers last night now I'm just going get paladins!

Re: Rumour: Leaked E3 Document Suggests Fortnite, Dragon Ball FighterZ And More Are Switch-Bound

Thaswizz

@OorWullie I'm excited for dbz if it's true and I would rather have pubg then fortnite, but if it's full game with co-op I'll take it. As for Paladins, that game is amazing I'd your into games like overwatch. Pretty much exactly the same concept , but for me I found Paladins to be more fun and competitive. On my Xbox version I haven't paid a dime and have every character.

Re: Review: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Switch)

Thaswizz

I beat this game on Wii U and it was great! Really fun and amazing game if your into touch platformers, but some levels were really tough if your not into it enough. However, there is easy mode in this game can run you through motions of a level and then come back on normal if you want to. I think it should retail at 39.99 , but other then that the game is aces

Re: Rejoice, Fortnite Fans: Switch Battle Royale Title Crazy Justice Is Shaping Up Nicely

Thaswizz

@trakkerx No I'll check it out though. I've played in halo tournamentso before and haha when your one last few left it feels like those tense tourney moments. Anticipation of your enemy is running through your mind and you know one false move means it's over. Makes for really fun game, I would love for 100 v 100 game. Or 50 on 50.

I love you swotch, but it really needs some shooters. Fortnite, and Pubg could bring a lot attention to on to genre on the system. Dom and splatoon 2 are great, but it needs some serious shooters.

Re: Rejoice, Fortnite Fans: Switch Battle Royale Title Crazy Justice Is Shaping Up Nicely

Thaswizz

@SmaggTheSmug People always said same for halo and I destroy pc players with my controller. Depends on the player.

Anyways I'm holding out for play unknown, I just downloaded mobile version. Only played 2 games and won the first and would have won 2nd , but lagged right when was going for kill shot on last player. The mobile version is amazingly well done. I hope this year brings anew influx of shooters to switch because I'm getting tired of doom being my only shooter

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Lavishes Praise On Outlast 2 Switch Port

Thaswizz

@JudgeMethos I got one those too, but inside USB 1tb on my X1 and it's filling up fast. However since my cord got messed up I haven't played nothing but my switch and some mobile games. Love my switch and prefer cartridges, I'm down pay 5 or 10 dollars extra for them. I do however wish they had minor manual or some little extra to take up space in such otherwise beautiful cases. My steel xenoblade is amazing, and want more of them!

Re: Review: Gekido Kintaro's Revenge (Switch eShop)

Thaswizz

@Shiryu I think I'll wait for sengoku 3, before decide. I mean I got enough keep me busy. Xenoblade and Mario rabbits have been amazing. Still playing FE warriors as well. And sheesh with my new 128g card I've been having blast. Got splatoon 2 digital sadly but man that game isn't blast

Re: Review: Gekido Kintaro's Revenge (Switch eShop)

Thaswizz

@Shiryu no I haven't I actually just told my girl about it and showed her it. We both love historic games and times. Is it good because it looks amazing, but I was afraid combat was no up to par. Lot of games Coming out copying art style with out substance. I read a lot about that game and they seem to actually done their homework with historical facts.
So think it's worth while for that genre? Because I've been debating buying it for awhile

Re: Review: Gekido Kintaro's Revenge (Switch eShop)

Thaswizz

@Shiryu When is that being released because I can't see it on upcoming releases on eShop. Splatoon 2/ Xenoblade/ Mario rabitts have me busy but I'm still going back my 360 play streets of rage collection. My gir, friend plays those games like battletoads with me so I really wanna beat em up we can play

Re: Review: Gekido Kintaro's Revenge (Switch eShop)

Thaswizz

@Shiryu Okay so better wait for streets of red? The animation of this game looked so good though that it seemed be good choice. I mean it seems fluid and multiple modes, my gut is telling everyone it's worth it. However sengoku 3 , is that great ?

Re: Review: Gekido Kintaro's Revenge (Switch eShop)

Thaswizz

@JHDK May notice be new but earthlock is amazing! I beat it on my Xbox one and got 1000/1000 achievement points. Story is great, game play is super fun if like turn based games. Honestly if they had a expansion I would buy second time on switch.

Re: FRAMED Collection Is Set To Bring Noir Puzzle Action To The Switch This Spring

Thaswizz

Only played first one my tablet and it was very good. The price was only few bucks though so I'd this is any more then 15 I don't see people buying it unless it's an impulse buy. Great game, but if it's cheap on Android /iOS has be cheap here too.

I never finished first game though I know I'm close, but I'd buy this for 10-15 cause have my switch way more then my tablet. While I'm here last sentence concerns me, I dont want switch become mobile fodder. It's capable of great things like xenoblade and upcoming pillars of eternity and hope more those great games come

Re: Review: Outlast: Bundle Of Terror (Switch eShop)

Thaswizz

@Ponyfox I showed it to my brother who is PC enthusiast and he was impressed how well it looked and preformed. So am I cause I use buy all PC games as well. It don't even compare to PC but it is pretty damn amazing for cartridge and a portable runs off even hotspots

Re: Review: Outlast: Bundle Of Terror (Switch eShop)

Thaswizz

@Ponyfox Yea of course lowering resolution makes all games look little Sharper, but depending on game and TV with extra power docked can provide it looks a "little" better. Obviously no 16 gig DDR3 Comp, but it looks and handles fantastic for game of its graphical power. I showed my brother who is PC guy and he was said was impressed to, but then again people's perception of switches power are different. Can't wait see games come out later cycles were devs fully can't make games use largest card possible.

Re: Review: Outlast: Bundle Of Terror (Switch eShop)

Thaswizz

@Robotron2084 Well it runs great and smooth even in handheld and yes it do3snt compare to a PC with 4k monitor but watch switch game does? There are little more dips in fps when in portable, but nothing 5hst takes away from overall game. Multi-player works great in portable too. It's a blast to go on rampage as a demon ripping players body parts off it's almost 23 gigs as download so I recommend buying it physical that way don't need take up space and can take it to any friends house with switch let them try it. Then again I buy every game physical even though got 128gig card. Can't wait for owl boy in May!

Re: Review: Outlast: Bundle Of Terror (Switch eShop)

Thaswizz

@Robotron2084 I highly recommend doom, and may do user review on it time providing. It runs very smooth and looks great regardless of the mode. Obviously docked will look little better, but keeps good fps for such a frantic game. Online is surprisingly fun as well if your into that sort of fast paced mutiplayer.

Re: Review: Little Triangle (Switch eShop)

Thaswizz

@SuperCharlie78 I know I went and put money on my eshop account just in case wanted buy anything. Radiation Island is next game I'm really looking into, but I also thought I may buy season pass for fire emblem warriors. Or Agies defender and aaaahahhhhhhhhh so many !

Re: Full-Scale Development Of Shin Megami Tensei V Has Finally Begun

Thaswizz

@Grumblevolcano 100 percent agree , I prefer ordered Bayonetta but fact that only 2nd one is physical made me cancel it because I got Wii U version with both disc. And I can't waste 60 dollar on it when Wii U version is still amazing, I am putting it on splatoon 2 instead. Also got disc jam, and Lone wolf which I have been thoroughly enjoying. Disc jam is fun in short bursts, even though sometimes I'm like ahhhhhh must play till victory !!!

Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch)

Thaswizz

@ACK I don't know if this game will quite exceed suikoden 2, god Luca HAS be one best villains in any game ever. That game has one best stories ever that I have played through. Gotta admit that story in this game has been really good thus far and cut scenes are like mini animie movies

Re: Bayonetta 3 is In Development and is a Switch Exclusive

Thaswizz

@BenAV You won't regret it buddy! The first game was great and the second one topped it by in my opinion being one of best action games ever. It was a non stop joy rode,of thrills from start to finish. I own the version has both discs for games, and I'll probably buy it for switch too. Definitely getting 3rd one, but Xenoblade 2 is my main concern right now! God that game is beautiful

Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch)

Thaswizz

@BensonUii I know right game was so fun exploring , I mean I didn't even get my skell, but I swam to another continent and just ran places. . Such a beautiful world and I want play it through , but just time restraints. Maybe after I beat this one I'll have time go back play it. And that's sad to hear eh version isn't as good looking as US. Like why not just make them the same you know? Because I'm not disappointed by my LE purchase , the art book is great, sound track I copied to my 360, and that case! In love with it! I wish fire emblem had metal case for LE

Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch)

Thaswizz

@Hendrin I know what you mean , you couldn't explore explore certain areas until you were powerful enough. Honestly I only got 20th hours into WiiU one, cause I ain't had time. Now that this version is portable I may actually be able play it all. I got both collectors edition of them though. I am going beat I am Setsuna before I get to deep in this game

Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch)

Thaswizz

@gcunit Do not judge this game based on wii u version because it's way more story driven and by my limited experience with it very good. So gorgeous and game play is smoother , let's just say I'm glad I got weekend off sink hours into this gem. I dropped 150 for collectors edition , and it was that high cause games top was by applebees haha ended up taking my lady out. Collectors edition is beautiful, sound track and metal case for the game is really nice

Re: FIFA 18 Sales Are Important for Future EA Support of Nintendo Switch

Thaswizz

I don't play fifa but if your going to gauge your support for a system maybe battlefield or Sims would be a more apt series to gauge success, but then again I know a lot of people love fifa.

I'm so excited get a switch, hopefully find one in stock next month.
Can't wait play Splatoon 2, salmon mode looks amazing, and course MK8. Blaster master too! Oh and sonic!
