What about the save data of Wii games with Gamecube controller support. It looks like everything is transferred, is it possible to transfer back those files to the Wii? Has anyone tried?

Epic Mickey features the worst videogame camera in the History. Epic Mickey 2 was a disappointment for most players and critics and Power of Illusion is a strange mix which just does not work so... Why do still people care anyway?

I hope for the good old SNES and MD Disney games to be released for the VC, but they don't show up, I don't know why.

As much as I hate Micro$oft for destroying Rare, I must admit they should get the right to register the name at least for videogames, as the first videogame was before the TV show and anyhow they are different products.

@WindWakerLink I wish those wonderful SNES and MegaDrive/Genesis games were released for the Virtual Console. I miss the old good Mickey, Aladdin, The Lion King... Those were great games, not like this one for 3DS.

It's a great idea as long as it encourage publishers to release more demos. We need many more of these, it would be great to have one demo per game.

I don't think it's an issue, actually I prefer visible encounters. It would be nice a digital version for this one.

Oh my, Vita is selling poorly in Japan, 20 times less than 3DS.

3DS browser is slow and doesn't support Flash. I understand that Nintendo browser won't support playing games but this is ridiculous.

@ocarinadude14 This is bad, I was thinking of taking the 3DS version in case it gets same critical acclaim as the Wii U version. I am sure they have good reasons, though.
I find a bit unfair that almost everybody compares this game to Mario Kart when Super Mario Kart was the only original one and the last two Mario Kart (Wii and 3DS) are pretty poor compared to previous ones. I don't see people comparing every modern fighting game to Street Fighter II even if they all are inspired by it.

Mario Kart Wii feels chaotic and stuck, while Mario Kart 7 feels rushed and limited. I hope Nintendo works harder on Mario Kart 8, but in the meantime do yourselves a favour and buy the Sega game. It's also about novelty and variety.

I knew from the start this would be one of my choices for Wii U. It's amazing.

All the good old people from the golden Rare are very welcome! They created awesome games and nothing compares to their job.

If only it would be compatible with Circle Pad Pro/Circle Pad Pro XL. By the way, when is it going to be release the second one?

@kdognumba1 You have a point. I think criticism can be good but Molyneux's words are kind of superficial. I think Wii U should be a bit more powerful but the Gamepad is great, of course is not an iPad4!

Nintendo 3DS XL ppi is very low, but I still can enjoy the system. And I think I'll enjoy Wii U a lot once developers start doing things good.

That is not really true. On modern LCD TVs you can change the view mode to GAME and the latency is reduced to zero.

I like the article because it's objective. Wii U might be slow, but Nintendo games will make the difference, as always.

Just drop games prices, 45€ per 3DS game is just too much. Do they really want to sell more at that price? Seeing Pilotwings Resort at 45€ on the eShop should be embarrassing.

This is just great. The game looks very nice and it is a lot of fun, so now it should be just perfect when bugs are fixed.

Can somebody explain why Nintendo do not recommend flash drives? They are quite smaller.

Hey Andy, I'm the first! (two before now!) I think this makes sense, but what about all those great games lost along the way? Didn't Nintendo say they will release some of those in Europe and America? Now should be the time to do that.

I realize now how stupid Nintendo was designing Wii U ports: SD port almost useless and no cheap Ethernet port at all even with HUGE games and OS updates. And don't say you can use Wii LAN adapter because that's not a decent solution.

@defrb Come on... We surely like Nintendo for their games but Wii was too short in power. Now that Wii U has been released we are about to know where Wii U will take this generation games.

It's like people who said the small 3DS screen was okay but then they wanted 3DS XL, people who said Wii's power was more than enough but they can't wait for the Wii U, people who is okay with the low ppi (pixels per inch) on 3DS XL screen but can't wait for crisper graphics...

Stop working because power was down while updating the OS? That happens with any device. In between, it looks that Internet hiccus doesn't affect. The console resumes update as it was expected. So calm down.

Videogames would not be the same without him. Nintendo would not be Nintendo without him. But most importantly, Mario and Zelda games are not going to be the same without him. The further he is from the new entries of these series, the worse these games are.

Miyamoto is simply the best in the industry. Why do people talk about his retirement? He must be someone at Nintendo until the very end. And after that, everybody is going to miss him. Nothing will be the same.

There was a time when a company was even better than Nintendo. That time was Super NES and Nintendo 64 era. Everybody, download these three!

About the thread it cannot be because of a copyright issue because Nintendo own this one. I am sure we will know the reason any time soon.

@3Dash That's exactly what these people are trying to explain to people like you, there are a lot of people waiting for the new Nintendo console, but it doesn't mean nothing at all, see Nintendo 3DS. But even if it fails after Christmas, Nintendo will work and find a way to blow life into it and keep it alive for the next 6 years. And the best way to do that is with really good games and agreements with third parties.

Nothing will make it for the launch! Wii U can wait for me until 2013. In between I think it is a great idea to release it before Christmas time, let's see how often it becomes the big present.

@rjejr I agree, all the connections are between the console and the gamepad, that's wireless but not precisely WiFi. Iwata Asks explains that everything has to be processed over the console, even the simplest tasks. The challenge is to send the data very fast over the air, more difficult than it seems.
