Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed is the only racing title currently available on Wii U, and it looks as though many people who picked up the game have found a few minor issues with it. The issues in question happen during non-race modes like Boost Challenge and Ninja Tag where, according to reports, checkpoints and boost pads have not been loading properly.
Fortunately though, Sumo Digital has revealed on NeoGAF that it has created a patch that rectifies the problems with the game, and this update is currently being looked over by Nintendo; it's expected to be available soon.

Good news! I was trying to play the Ninja Tag mode last night and the spawn points are completely broken. Everyone spawns at the same point so the game is immediately over. Also, cant clear a couple of boost modes due to bugs.
Excellent! I was hoping that this would be fixed before I got this game for Christmas.
I really hope this all gets fixed soon. This is a great game otherwise. I hope that's not all they are fixing though.
Also had trouble on a battle level with spawning in space, and the game froze on the one Capture the Chao game we tried to play.
Just in time for Christmas, also I heard that if the date is Christmas, then you unlock Alex Kidd (So that means he's in the game)

YES YES YES PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM CHARACTERS ARE HARD TO UNLOCK LIKE 4SEC IN A DRIFT RACE AND BOOST RACE AS 3SEC IN IT I CANT WIN THIS GAMES
I hope the update also fixes Monkey Ball Chase and the Neon Sonic Colors Battle Map! On a somewhat unrelated note, why does my Mii's in game voice sound like Kermit the Frog?

thank goodness. I keep seeing messages on miiverse about this issue, and i've experienced it myself to. i try so hard to get to the check point only to see its nowhere in sight. thanks Sumo!
Hopefully they'll continue working on framerate as well. It's a playable 30-40 FPS when playing 1-3 players, but beyond that it's just horrible. (Around 15-20 FPS)

This is just great. The game looks very nice and it is a lot of fun, so now it should be just perfect when bugs are fixed.

I have the Xbox360 game and it has the same issue,i hope they fix that too cant wait for the WiiU in UK, counting the days!!
I guess the UK version will have these excisting problems.

I just don't understand how these bugs get out, do people not test games anymore to make sure these kind of problems don't exist
@True_Hero @MYCO id say the whole "dont type in caps" thing is a little dated. do you really feel like he is shouting at you? not trying to be mean, just something to think about.
so glad they are fixing this. its keeping me from making my purchase. ive heard it freezes a lot though. can anybody confirm or deny that claim for me?
@selective_blue - I don't feel like he's shouting at me. It's just distracting and harder to read his post that way. But that's just my opinion. As for the freezing issue, I've heard nothing about that in the research I've done on the game.

@Daz-brum_reeeally. im glad to hear that . my friend in xboxland is telling me to just buy the 360 version instead 'cause theres no problems with it. he's got some explaining to do lol. i woulrd really rather have this for wii u. trying to distance myself from xbox360 as much as i can. i am so tired of its mayonaise ads, green day ads &...oh thers just too much to get into on that subject.
Man, what is taking Nintendo so long to release this patch??? I LOVE this game!!! I need to get those boost/drift challenges completed!! =)
Played yesterday and no update was required. Today its updating? Patch now live?
This game is really good but a lot of stuff is broken. In Chao Battle the chaos don't load in the right spots or the game completely freezes. Races seem to work fine but can't beat world tour without boost challenge being fixed. Haven't even tried to play online other than with friends.
