Got this on Xbox. Its not bad, but the number of laps it makes you do is tedious, it's severely lacking in options.

Yeah had my eye on this for a while now. The minute I saw a screenshot of the 2D racer I was sold, but everything I've seen looks to capture a sense of time and place beautifully.

Already pre ordered physical. Don't do that often, but can't wait for this.

Absolutely. It's a slightly less balls-hard take on the Raiden formulae that straddles traditional and bullet-hell really well. Good stuff.

Eh? There's the retail Turrican Flashback, which contains 1, 2, Mega and Super, hardly bad value at 20 quid?
Then there are the two Anthologies that have been held up for bug fixes, score attack modes, in-game maps etc. Probably not as good value unless you're a big fan, but still decent enough

They will. They're doing every Toaplan game.

They've still never beaten the second game for me. Later entries added too much stuff and got a bit gimmicky. Also it looks horrid.

Really like this, needs to be put straight on hard though. And the soundtrack.... Opening theme still gives me chills.

I'm not on board with the OP's sentiments anyway. I'll pirate if something isn't made available for me to buy. When it is, I'll buy it. As I'm intending to do later with the Tiger Heli port, even though I already have it on my dodgy box.

If it's like Tiger Heli, the home ports come as DLC.

Some right dross there. Raiden would have been an insta-buy, but I got bored of waiting and picked up the US version for the same price months ago. Picked up the DLC for Horizon Chase Turbo though, base game was brilliant.

So, to buy the expansion for Switch, or see if the main game is discounted at all on PS4/5?

Done to death now, not interested.

Namco are porting their own titles, that have been ported to death. Hamster are securing licences to titles that have never been made available on home systems before, so I think their prices are pretty reasonable.

Like the look of this, but will probably pick up on Xbox.

Nice, at that price I'll take a look. It's also astonishing how many games have screen filters, scanlines etc, but don't let you see how they look in real-time! R-Type Dimensions was particularly aggravating with this.

How much!? I love Souls, but hold on a minute.

See Konami? People will still buy your games when you make a decent effort!
