Re: Microsoft To Announce Sequel To "Historic" Rare Franchise At E3

Smitherenez

I think that they will go for something that resembles a FPS, because it is a genre that sells. To the question if we should be jealous: I don't thinks so. One of the reasons is, that if the game turns out to be good, you can buy a xbox if you really want to play it. It's not like that we are not able to buy it at all, because it is on a different platform. My second reason is that Rare is not what it used to be.

Re: Senior EA Employee Caught Out Criticising Wii U On Twitter

I would like to know what the situation would be like in a few years! Maybe the wiiU will do bad, it's entirely possible (but that will probably mean that the other consoles will do bad too)! The opposite can also be the truth, and maybe then EA will come back, and all of a sudden they will love the wiiu, because there is a lot of money to milk out of the consoles' owners. Basically it is like stabbing someone in the back, to say sorry later and rob them from their money. I think that this guy can have is opinion, but please: keep it to yourself. If you want an angry horde of nintendo fans to burn you alive with fire flowers and stab you with their collection of master swords, this is the way to get their attention.

Re: Miiverse: Super Metroid - Too Taxing For Today's Gamers?

I have been helping many people out on miiverse already. Some of them are just plain dumb. Here is one example: There is a section where you need to run over a crumbling bridge. The poor guy wasn't able to get past it. So I told him. 'Press and hold B'. He responded with: There is no B button! Me: O.o

Re: Nintendo Claiming Ad Revenue On YouTube User-Generated Gameplay Videos

@stipey I am not entirely sure, but I believe that commentary makes it so that it is legal for you to use gameplay/music/video because of the 'fair use' policy. It could also be the case that Nintendo simply has not encountered my commentary videos yet, because my view count is very low (10-30 views per video, with a few acceptions ). Nintendo is more likely to get high traffic videos claimed first. I will try and ask around and see if fellow LP'ers have something to add.

Started to notice this three days ago. I am a Let's Player and I play Nintendo's games most of the time. A couple of my videos got tagged by ninty. But just the ones where I didn't do any commentary over the video. I do not earn any money from my videos btw, because it's a hobby and because google doesn't give me acces to adsense. They believe that I will break their rules and such.

Re: ZombiU Developers Talk Permadeath And Protagonists

@Grubdog I will give you a better example. The following happend to me: Spoiler alert!: I died at the Tower of London, the first time you need to go there you need to reach a helicopter. You talk to a woman trough te Prepper pad first and when you finish that mission there will be a short cutscene. Well, she was talking to Survivor A, and survivor A was unlucky enough to die, just before finishing the objective, which makes the chopper fly away. Survivor B, not aware of what happend, spawns at the safehouse and the Prepper start yelling to you (survivor B) that he overheard your conversation with that woman. End Spoiler So in this situation he is blaming survivor B for something he/she doesn't even know about. It just doesn't make much sense.

I didn't care for my characters in zombiU at all and I only died 3 times. I killed my character once because he looked like an total idiot. Dying in this game also screws up the story: The prepper calls your new character a moron, even when he/she didn't actually achieve something in the game yet.
