@OlympicCho They had to change the awesome battle system on the DS, in which you had to fight with two characters at once, to one where you just control Neku. With that, most of the charm from the game is gone. Thats what Smashbrawler331 meant. Please stop being so pessimistic.
I know, but I despise those games that have some of those ugly borders around it. Like 3D classics Kirby's Adventure. It is just a waste of the screen...
I did like the combat in other M, graphics where great too. But I didn't get that 'metroid' fibe from the game. There was barely any exploration, scanning should have been implemented better (my favorite feature from prime) and they should NOT let Sakamoto write the strory.
That is pretty good! I am still on the fence of getting one. I love my original 3DS and I made it trough the whole DS generation with my DS phat, so I do not think I will be upgrading sooner or later.
Why is Nintendo not telling us about their plans? We just want to know when and how much, so that we are able to get our wallets ready. But I do have to admit: these ideas do sound great! I would get the wii-owner version
I still have the cartridge for this game! Never came past those 'water rising' levels back then. The quick save function might help me out, and you won't have to you the dreaded passwords anymore!
That was a nice read! I'am really curious about how Nintendo will support the WiiU and 3DS in the future, connectivity wise. The 3DS already is a major step forward, but it still has a lot of catching up to do. Nintendo doesn't have to go in the same direction as Microsoft, but I would like to see more online (multiplayer) functions like cross game (voice) chat, the ability to send game/friend invites and of course: more online multiplayer games! It would be awesome to play NSMB2 online with a friend, while yelling at each other with voice chat!
I really hope that Nintendo does not go in the same direction as Activision. I want them to be innovative and daring, like they were (and still are). I would love to see some new IP's and other games (I really need a Metroid fix) instead of games that have Mario or Zelda in the title. We had a bit too much games of those series the last few months.
Can't wait to see the final version! Hopefully they will show it at the upcoming E3. I am actually happy they took the circle pad instead of those sticks. I am a big fan of my circle pad pro, it feels a lot better then the analogue sticks on the xbox (360) controllers.
I received this letter last wednesday! I hope Nintendo use's this more often. I really feel like Nintendo cares about their costumers when they send such letters.
I would get this version, because I don't want this game for multiplayer anyway. The portability is a plus for me, I want to be able to play this piece of Rayman goodness everywhere I go.
@34 The battle theme of superstar sage is one of my favorite pieces of game soundtrack It isn't that hard to play either. On which bass do you play btw? I have a Cort B4 ( a bass for beginners, have been playing for one and a half year now).
I don't mind using glitches and cheats in single player games, they add an extra layer of replayability and can lead towards some fun experiences. But for competitive online multiplayer, people should know better. Glitches will always be abused. Just look at COD:WaW a few years ago, everyone knew how to get under the maps in multiplayer, and it was fun at first. But after while me and my friends were just running for the glitch spots so that we could prevent others from abusing it. luckily, it got patched. I really hope that Nintendo is going to add a patching system for WiiU (and 3DS).
I would like to try the WiiU before I consider to buy it. I am not sure if the Tablet controller is the right thing for me. But I do not want to miss out on those new Nintendo titles either...

Re: No Sequel From The World Ends With You Teaser
I am enjoying the game on my DS right now. This game is deeper then I remembered it to be :S

Looks good, but I do hope it is full screen.
Re: Bravely Default: Flying Fairy Japanese Box Art Revealed
I want this so badly, just because of the beautiful art style. I myself don't really like JRPG's, but this one might convince me to like them

Re: Michael Pachter: Activision Demanded Wii U Pro Controller for CoD
"They could put out a piece of cardboard and say that it'll play Mario and they'll buy it."
A new Paper Mario? Bring it!
Does that guy really think that about Nintendo fans BTW? Pachter really needs to shut up sometimes.
Re: Mario Explores New Environments in Latest Trailer
The level shown at 0:09 makes me think of a Sonic stage. Can't remember the name of that 'act' tough.

Re: Feature: The Best Soundtracks on Wii
I think that the Skyward Sword soundtrack is not that great at all. I can't even remember one tune, while I hum songs from these games quite often.
Re: Feature: The Best Soundtracks on Wii
As a bass player I approve SSBB's remix of Angel Island! Gotta love the slap bass being played there

I need some more money before I can afford to buy this game. I just bought a new bass guitar!
Re: Bathe in the Glory of Miyamoto's Development Wisdom
I CAN'T DO IT! Really, it is impossible to do; that rock, paper and scissors thing.
Re: Talking Point: The Inevitability of Digital Retail Games
I do prefer physical media, because of the extra's. But if a publisher gives me extra's/goodies with a downloadable game, it's a different story.
Re: What's New in Mario Party 9? This Trailer Knows
Too many great games this march, my wallet can't handle it!!!

Alright then! I got my fingers crossed for some release dates! (paper mario and luigi's mansion)

@ 24 I can play the 'SMB overworld theme' on my bass guitar, figured it out by listing. I can give you the notes for that one, if you want.
