Re: Random: Rapper Soulja Boy Claims He Owns Atari, Atari Doesn't Agree

So how dumb, high, or drunk do you have to be to go on Twitter with a video saying that you own a game company? Even with the proof of a contract that doesn't even say ANYWHERE that he owns it. Did he not read the contract before signing it or read it once more before using it as proof? Or can he not do that either?

Anybody can do this type of stuff. All it takes is printing a fake contract and forging someones signature and now they own a big corporation or game company! (Althoigh that may or may not work that way) It kills me how dumb people can be nowadays just seeking attention...

@DoubleDate I understand that more clearly now. Parents shouldn't have to walk away for 5 seconds only to come back to their kid buying all these add-ons and stuff. They shouldn't have to monitor them 24/7. If they taught their kids not to spend money like that, they should be alright. But I do know that not all kids were taught that way and do have to be monitored a bit more. But if the parent is paying attention to purchases and what their child is doing, I see no reason why they would have to be monitored all the time. All it takes is a little check-in on their child to make sure they are not doing anything they shouldn't be doing unless they allow it

@DoubleDate I don't want to interfere with this argument but you do realize that it's the parents' decision of allowing their kids to play games and watch movies that are targeted towards a more mature and older audience, correct? When I was younger, I watched all the slasher films and I played Mortal Kombat and all that stuff because my parents allowed me to. So in the end, it's really the parents' decision to allow their kids to do things like that. Even with micro-transactions for games, if it is their own money, they can do whatever they want with it as long as they are allowed to. And if you are that worried about your child using micro-transactions, you can easily prevent them from buying stuff in the settings of the device they are using to play it. Now imma get out of this before I get dragged into it.
