I thought Mario Golf for 3DS was great, but this looks like such an average and forgettable effort.

The amiibo look cool, but I have zero interest in the game.

Just give me Sonic 3 & Knuckles after this and then I'll be happy.

See, if they had a REAL account system and online infrastructure on the 3DS, they could just ban these idiots instead of ruining it for the rest of us. This shouldn't happen in 2013, but it's Nintendo, so I'm not surprised, just frustrated.

Agreed. It's a joke. Why does Nintendo think anybody wants to buy these early crappy NES games, for $5 no less? We probably won't get N64 and GBA games until next year.

The NA Club Nintendo rewards are pathetic right now. Hopefully we get this.

The reviews are all over the place. Hopefully the demo comes to the eshop soon so I can see for myself if the mechanics and difficulty are bothersome.

No DLC for the Wii U version? I for one, am SHOCKED.

Capcom should be fortunate they have Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, and Street Fighter. They have less of a chance to go the way of THQ before the end of the decade.

@thesilverbrick Yes, that should do pretty well. The Wii U is in a really bad spot and it really could've used a game like DKC:TF. Third party support is going down the drain and Nintendo delaying one of their big titles isn't going to instill confidence into publishers or even consumers. I like my Wii U, but Nintendo has made so many mistakes with it.

It's amazing how ill-prepared Nintendo was for HD development. The Wii U is screwed this holiday season.

They said price cut, not sale, so hopefully it's a permanent drop.

Yeah, I'll stick with the PS3, Vita and Wii U versions.

Wow, it's already up to $1.05 Million. It seems really likely we'll get console versions. I'd also buy a 3DS version if Renegade Kid gets to make it.

SMH at a lot of you people. Nintendo doesn't seem to care to make a new Metroid. Might as well let some other devs fill the shoes. I'm always up for a Metroidvania.

@SCAR392 Okay? We're talking about high prices on digital downloads. Nintendo prices EVERYONE of their first party games on the e-shop at the same price at retail, at least in the U.S. It's terrible. Sony and Microsoft do it with their consoles, too. So don't act like I'm defending Sony. I only brought up Vita game prices as an example. Oh, and speaking of memory, you know the deluxe Wii U only comes with a paltry 32 GB? You're going to need a $70-100 500 GB External HDD, if you're going all digital. I don't have a Vita, and the overpriced, proprietary memory cards is one of the reasons I don't own one. And I also don't buy digital Wii U games either, for the reasons I've already stated.
