Re: E3 2012: Wii U to Launch in White, Black Available "Later"

It doesn't make sense. First of all they were showing the black Wii U GamePad constantly and the first time they revealed the pro controller, it was black. The last few days of Wii U coverage that I've seen, I've seen more black than white. Can it really be that hard to launch a system in two colors?

Re: Aliens: Colonial Marines on Wii U is 'Best-Looking' Version

This might be one of the games I get for the Wii U. Nice to know the Wii U is more powerful than the 360/PS3. I didn't think there was a chance in the world Nintendo would shoot themselves in the foot in that department. Now hopefully multiplats will be spread across the Wii U, 720, and PS4.

Re: Talking Point: Why Skyward Sword Sales Failed to Soar

I could care less if it sold 2 million or 10 million, it doesn't change the quality of the game. For me Skyward Sword is my second favorite right behind the Wind Waker. Yea a number of possible reasons for sure. Late in the Wii's life cycle, clueless people thinking its just some waggle-fest, the art style, whatever. Zelda isn't a pick up and play game like Mario and it shouldn't and never will be. I can't wait for Zelda Wii U.

Re: Talking Point: Does Nintendo Finally 'Get' Digital?

This is exactly why the 3DS needs to have individual accounts instead of games being tied to the system. Hopefully Nintendo will have an update ditching friend codes in favor of accounts for the 3DS by the end of the year. We already know the Wii U will have them so that's good. For the physical vs. digital, I'm still sticking with physical game cards/discs.

Re: Talking Point: A Big Year for Nintendo

E3 will be key for Nintendo. I already plan on getting a Wii U around launch, but I want a big blowout at E3 as in the total opposite of last year. For the price I'm thinking either $299 or $349. I think it's pretty obvious at this point Super Mario Bros. 4/New Super Mario Bros. Mii and Pikmin 3 will be launch titles. I feel as though they need that 3rd big first-party title. I have a feeling it's whatever Retro's been working on. I'm concerned about third-party support, but then again Nintendo hasn't had "great" third-party support since the SNES days. Whatever Nintendo has planned, I'm sure it will be will be great nonetheless.
