Re: Soapbox: Retail Games Cost Too Much To Download From The eShop

Yea, it really bothers me. Digital versions should be like $5-$7 cheaper than a retail copy. Sony prices their digital PS Vita games cheaper than their retail counterpart. You are LITERALLY getting less for your money when you buy digital. No box, no manual, no ability to trade in or sell? No thanks. Steam is really successful because they price games low enough where people are willing to sacrifice selling rights. Nintendo really needs to change this.

Increasing the install base doesn't really matter. The audience for Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, GTA, Madden and COD already have consoles (360/PS3) that play these types of games. Off-TV play is great but people aren't buying Nintendo systems for M-Rated third party games. Mario and Donkey Kong will sell very well this holiday season, but will third party games like Watch_Dogs and Ass. Creed IV do the same? I doubt it.

Re: Time: Nintendo Is "Stumped" By The Wii U GamePad And Should Ditch It

Lol no. The system is designed around the gamepad. How exactly are you supposed to play Nintendo Land or ZombiU? Drawing pictures on Miiverse? Also, good bye to Off-TV play. Nintendo would be better off making a successor to the Wii U in a couple of years. Also I kind of laugh at the fact the article claims the Xbox One is a traditional console. I'm not going near that DRM filled system.
