@datamonkey Nintendo make more games for a wii u and 3ds than Microsoft or Sony do for there's tho they just need some bloody third party games lol

@Smooty whenever it comes out it will replace the wii u that's a certain I don't think it will be next year I just wouldn't be surprised if it does

@Scizor711 yeah I know it's a codename I said if it gets revealed next year it could come out the same year, if it is next year like April to E3 time it could launch at the end like Sony and Microsoft did

@JaxonH yeah I know I just would not be surprised if an end of 2016 release for the new system, plus gamecube got alot more third party games where Nintendo gets a lot of money, and in the UK gamecube was 2002 till 2006 and the last year had sod all games so having no to little wii u games could be on the cards next year.

@JaxonH I dunno next year wii u is 4 years on the market we only had the gamecube for 4 years and that did better than wii u, it probably won't but it's not too crazy to think it could.

@Scizor711 dunno Nx could come next year both ps4 and xbox1 were announced and released in the same year, and wii u will be 4 next year around about the life span of Nintendo consoles well short by one year but sales have been bad, plus we haven't heard sod all about teams like retro or anyone making big games after the second half of this year making some believe they have moved most teams to the new hardware

The fact that they are not even gonna show it at E3 make me think it's gonna be late next year thus making it an nx game or both like they did with twilight princess, ah well looks like time to get an xbox one for good exclusives this Christmas now that Sony delayed Uncharted.

Hmm yeah but me thinks that will turn out like the xbox one or wii u, price was putting people off not to mention the 3ds was dead till it had a price drop. Plus it'll be hell on developers having to have a game that has to scale all the time, you could never really push the dock hardware as it has to run smooth when detached on the handheld.

@maceng yeah interesting idea, but then still the dock would have hardware in it making cost go up, so it might as well be it's own system, I think eurogamer did an article on this last year saying they will have two systems on scalable hardware.

They won't have two device's, I think we will still get a hand held and a home console, power is just not there for mobile tech yet, what you will probably get is the two systems running on scalable hardware using the same or similar architecture, where the same tools can be used to make the home console version and scale it down to the portable without having to change assets and code between versions.

They should just work with one game really one sort of like the sky landers, yeah it's nice to have a little extra but the figures are so pointless atm it's not even worth having them unless you collect them as figures every game to use them atm it's pointless rubbish, they need to make a game that's all about the figures

Super Mario 64 and 1080 I would want, plus Wave Race, Maybe a Pilotwings 64 one as well, as the 3ds one was pants.

I think Giant Bomb has a great system 5 star scale works great with metacritic, in the end I go by just reading the review get a better overall picture of the game that way.

Such a bad/rubbish idea it will not translate well to live action, animation would be the way to go if you are going to do such a thing.

Reckon it's a fake it's someone has just put a another gun arm on it and carefully just put the box back together

Just Wii U for me really looking forward to it but not going to pay twice for something, I think all platform owners should have it that if it's on two of your systems and has not been radically changed or improved then you shouldn't really pay twice, I mean people would flip if you had to pay for apps on your phone again if you went from a galaxy s4 to an s5

@Twiglingen yeah but xenoblade is nowhere near as graphics intensive or has the amount of AI running round as unity does

Nintendo would never have the money to buy a controlling interest in capcom that's a lot of money even someone like Microsoft would pass on this

I hope in the final game the change of styles changes the physics to the respective games as all have a slightly different feel playing new mario bro's style with the old physics would just seem weird, looks really good though.

This looks really good the world looks amazing but that link I'm not a big fan tbh was hoping he would be older bit more like Skyward or twilight link or older getting bit tired of the teen/pre teen link ah well, it'll play great though

I really hope they change the design on the bokoblins, as the skyward sword ones were terrible they just looked a bit too

Well dosen't effect me as will be buying it on PS4 but still if the Wii U version doesn't have it that is just plain wrong there's no reason it shouldn't

I definitely think the Wii U needs games plus a price cut to start picking up steam £300 for a one when you have PS4 at £350 is gonna be a hard sell.

Well thats a bit disappointing was hoping for more of a sm64/galaxy type game probably won't get this, tbh the whole direct was a massive disappointment nothing good really and all the new games are not really worth shouting about

Yeah but higher detail texture mapping and improved lighting and animation will look better no matter the resolution, all the PS4 trailers ran in 1080p, think of Dreamcast and GameCube they both ran at 640x480 but GameCube still looked better due to its hardware same case here.

If PS4 comes in at the rumored £300/£350 then Wii U may suffer big time, but hopefully if Sony do announce a price like that Nintendo will lower its price to something a little more sensible like £200 or a £250 bundle pack with Mario Kart or whatever the big holiday release is at the time, at the moment though Wii U needs games and its such a shame that Nintendo didn't have any big games ready to ship for the first year (Yes Pikmin is great but no system seller) which is a massive oversight, they could have used this one year head start, but the lack of games is killing sales.

Ah good to hear its coming to Wii U interested to see how they use the game pad as for me I'll probably get it on Next Xbox, PS4 or PC.

Yeah there is no chance of the game looking like the E3 demo on Wii U would be awesome if there was but never gonna happen that was all running on PC far more advanced and need for speed is no system breaking game on PC.

I don' think this will come to Wii U, I'd like it too just don't see it happening, people have asked Ubi and they just say we have nothing to announce about Wii U which I could see being a no in the long run but here's hoping, the whole hacker premise of the game would be quite cool when's there's a certain gamepad involved.

Nintendo need to fix this, i used to buy loads on my Wii until i couldn't get back my downloads, (I bought a black Wii when they came out n gave the old one to my Brother) Now i won't even go for downloads any more since its a mess to sort if something does happen where you lose them.

Also I wish this would come in a double pack with a HD version of Twilight Princess that would look pretty good with a new gloss of paint n some tweaks that along with Wind Waker HD would make one awesome purchase!

I hope when it does come out it looks a bit more like the original (cel shading wise) it does look good but looks a bit off because of it.

Hopefully i can get myself one this week, really want it,sucks i wasn't able to get the limited edition one though.

Ah man yeah if you have a lot of like 50 plus VC games, think there should be some sort of bigger discount if you have a ton, i've been lucky that i never bought that much only ones that never came over to UK such as Mario RPG.

I would have expected the GBA VC to be on 3DS first though hopefully it does, for some reason never been into playing my portable games on the TV, never got the GB player and such good to see won't have to pay much for the Wii U upgrade though, oh and please Nintendo when it comes to the N64 get some more games up, DK64, Turok 1&2, Mischief Makers, Wetrix, are a few i'd like to see.

Also pretty pleased that you won't have to pay full price for owned VC games on Wii U, always new you'd have to pay but glad its not much for the upgrade.

I felt it was a pretty good showing, like the fact they are going to use Epic Yarn's style in a new game, the news of a new Mario at E3 and Wind Waker by the end of the year and the system updates coming might get me to invest in a Wii U sooner rather than later.

Ah nice, loved the SNES version might give this a look in, loved the music in this game.

A new battalion wars would be awesome on the gamepad me thinks but another overkill would be awesome too.

totally agree there, i love the wii u my mate has one and i've really enjoyed it, but have yet to buy one for this reason have no clue what or when 1st party titles will be out and some of the biggest games this year are missing the wii u such as bioshock and gta 5, which is a real shame.

Hopefully won't be too long then, good to ear though, is till don't know how GCN titles will work if they com to VC though the Wii U lacks the analog triggers.

Price i think is the major issue, mass effect 3 for £45 when i can get all three on ps3 or 360 for £35 or £40, they need to be the same price they have no real need to be that price, and tbh there's really nothing note worthy on the system yet either old ports or un intresting nintendo games yeah mario bros u is good, but the casual buyer will just think its a minor update to the wii original.

They both have advantages the 360 has a lot more games, nearly all the Wii U third party line up, the games and console are at a cheaper price too, don't get me wrong the Wii U has pontentiel with games such as Zombi U and a few others, the 360 is a great console and i have faith that the Wii U will be as well but at this moment in time other than Zombie U and Mario the 360 has all the other games plus great ones such as Dishonored, Hitman, XCOM, and Bioshock next year, also the PS3 is a great choice as well, at the end of the day it comes down to what you love i have always liked my Nintendo's over the competition but that doesn't mean the others are bad, but what ever people choose this holiday everyone's in for a great time.

Nah this wouldn't be that great of an idea, first the game is mega old n i think if the Wii U does have MMORPG's then they should be made for the Wii U in mind from the off set.
