@construx I don’t see this as competing as much as I see it being a great complimentary alternative. If your a fan of racing games retro games or both this shouldn’t be missed. I enjoy Forza too but sometimes you just want something to go to for a quick challenge and this game totally fits the bill. Honestly it’s one of the better $20 games I’ve purchased on the eshop!

This game is honestly fantastic. The gameplay is simple but tight and the speed and graphics are quite nice. Played with the family and it seems like everyone is hooked. A new single or multiplayer racer for game night for sure.

This interests me a great deal. Hopefully it sells well and other companies consider doing similar releases. The snk collection is great and this looks even better but man I would love to see others jump on board. Konami, Capcom?

As a Nintendo fan not fanboy I am always glad to hear about positive sales of any system as sales usually equal more games and third party support. So great news for Nintendo and ultimately for their fans.

This is a very good game but the longevity of your play and enjoyment I think depends on having someone of a similar skill level to compete with locally. Most of the online matches I play seem to be fairly one sided one way or the other

Picked up a copy of starlink on Black Friday so I can’t wait to give that a go. Also wanting to dive into Warframe. I’ve been a big fan of panic buttons other switch ports.

First and this seems like a great way to keep the game fresh. Is it the 28th yet???

Horizon chase turbo!

Quite impressive. Hoping the continued sales lead to more third party releases

It’s a retro weekend for me. I plan to fire up Tetris attack, play a little zombies ate my neighbors, snk 40th on the switch and oh yeah I will finally sit down and give sensible soccer a go on the mega drive. I’ve heard good things and I had a relative send me a copy from England. Wasn’t there a story a while back about a spiritual successor heading to switch???

Not the most comprehensive list of sales in the US. Lots of switch games on sale including starlink starter pack for $40 off

The low cost is great and all but the slow rollout is a shame as this has been done better on previous Nintendo consoles. I would be happy to pay more if there were more systems on offer and to be honest the vast majority of the nes library is useless. Give us the heavy hitters and move on to more relevant consoles

Smashing momentum for the switch

@Pod I sort of enjoyed the user reviews. I saw them as a nice plus for those interested but something that could be easily ignored.

@Pod still pretty underwhelming. It’s basically a best sellers list by genre and even that it’s noy all that accurate. I am yearning for something akin to the Wii U eshop

All the choices are great but with 1000 plus games it’s time for Nintendo to update the eShop and how we find games in a meaningful way.

@Razieluigi I get that except for the fact that most of the titles that this happens with have released on steam and other consoles well ahead of time and were massive successes: which has proven to translate to high sales on switch.

I am all for physical releases of indie titles but I wish companies would release them in stores and on the eShop on the same day. Annoying when you buy it digitally and then a month or so later they announce a physical copy.

Interesting game...just not one that ever fully grabbed my attention. Definitely unique. From what I remember the soundtrack was pretty great

Actually still own a copy of tetrisphere. Haven’t dusted it off in such a long time but I may need to based on your recommendation.

Lumines remastered and honestly a little Tetris attack on the snes. Been craving puzzle games lately. And TA might be my favorite of all time.

SNK 40th physical collectors edition

Gotta say I picked this up on release and am enjoying it quite a bit. This review leaves me shaking my head a bit as I feel the reviewer is missing the point of what makes this game fun in the first place. The dirty tricks add a layer of strategy to the game making it very important when you choose to utilize them. Almost a game within the game.

I love when companies leave out key features and don’t adjust the price to reflect the changes. On a side note I love all these old ports I really do but again having old games launch at $60 US is crazy to me. I’ll wait for a price drop.

I’m continuing to chip away at Spider-Man and a little game called red dead. Maybe at night I’ll fire up jack box party pack with friends.

Nice. I would love to relive these classics on the portable console hybrid. A perfect fit for switch!

Mandatory toys to life price drop incoming!!!

Picked up Spider-Man ps4 and I’ll be trying to chip away at that before Red Dead 2 releases. They are the first non switch games I’ve played since beating far cry 5. Tempted to pick up star link but with so many games on the horizon I will probably wait for the inevitable toys to life price drop. I see a Black Friday deal in the future.

Will eventually bite on a few of these games but with so many switch releases each week it’s time to wait it out for a sale on a few. Still waiting for a lumines sale and the release of horizon chase turbo!!!

Agreed three games in a month is too slow. The service itself isn’t horrible in fact in can be fun but the game selection and slow trickle leaves a lot to be desired.

I have enjoyed and am playing way more incredible indies on my switch. Perfect system for gaming whether you are playing on a big screen or on the go.

Super Mario party and some random indies....likely some dead cells and the binding of Isaac.

Maybe this will be the thing that finally gets me into this game. I want to like it I really do. I am usually open to trying new things and have found lots of enjoyment in many genres but for some reason this game hasn’t hooked me.

If Panic Button can get doom and Wolfenstein running on the switch I’m pretty sure Sega should be able to do the same with shenmue with very few issues. Honestly, ports, indies, remasters and rereleases who cares the more games on switch the better for all of us switch owners. The big third parties are going to continue to follow suit. Hard to ignore the success of the switch and it’s growing install base

In between dead cells runs I plan to give undertale a shot this weekend. Been wanting to see what the hype is all about but every time I pick up my switch I’m drawn to dead cells.
