Re: Nintendo Download: 9th August 2012 (North America)

Super Mario Land 2 is great. It's still feels more fresh and original than New Super Mario Bros. 2 could ever hope to be, judging from the trailers.

A level on the Moon, a LEGO level, a level in the belly of a whale. You don't see stuff like that in 2D Marios anymore. I only ever find any true innovation in the 3D instalments nowadays.

I ruined my old DS trying to replace its broken shell. After that failure I bought the DS Lite. The top screen of that system is failing as well, with dead pixels and all. I could just get a new screen for a low price, but I'm a little afraid to break my DS Lite as well. In the meantime, I bought a 3DS, but I like playing my GBA games in fabulous colours on DS Lite.

Re: First Impressions: Scribblenauts Unlimited

This is going to be better than ever. Think of something, write it down and it will pop up. If it doesn't appear, just make it yourself. How on earth could this still go wrong with such hardware, such a great concept and the quality of the first two games.

Re: Review: Rayman (3DS eShop / Game Boy Color)

Rensch

No, that's a 3D game, but there is a Game Boy Color version of it as well, which acts as a sequel to this game and follows the plot of the console and PC versions, but within a 2D side-scrolling environment.

Re: Rayman Origins 3DS Hits North America on 5th June

@shotgunryugan: If it's available on multiple systems, why should I not get the most complete version? All versions seem to be mostly identical when it comes to levels and graphics, but the multiplayer is supposed to be really fun. In fact, I've seen the PC version at a cheap price of €20,-. I tried the 3DS demo and loved it, but I won't pick it up until I feel like taking it on the go.

Re: Interview: Michael Inglis - Building LEGO Zelda

I am proud to have been one of the earlier supporters of this idea. Let's hope this becomes reality. LEGO and Zelda, the two greatest things known to mankind, put together. Tell me people: how can that not be an insanely good idea.

Re: Iwata Defends Identical Digital and Retail Prices

I think this is BS. The 'always having it with you' argument is hardly valid if you consider how small those cartridges are. You can easily keep multiple ones in your pockets.

If you like the idea of having everything printed out and look snazzy on the shelf, fine. It just seems reasonable to pay, say, 20-25% extra for it, even if it is only to compensate for the environmental strains traditional distribution brings along with it.

Re: PEGI Rates Rayman for 3DS Virtual Console

Rensch

That's not entirely true. There's also a sequel to this Game Boy Color version that basically is a 2D recreation of The Great Escape. There was also a third one for GBA, that similarly blends in elements of Rayman 2 and Rayman 3 on the consoles.
