Wow. That art is adorable. I really wish this was an actual game, same for the Kirby RPG in the other image. That would be cool. I love the Switch and all but I miss the days of the handheld systems (GBA, DS, etc). I feel like Nintendo was more willing to experiment with new things when they could split focus between a home console and a handheld.

This is just my own personal wishlist but I really hope some of these party members are non-human. I love having a couple not-basic-humans along for the ride (moogles, robots, frog knights, yetis, etc). Don't be afraid to mix it up!

I was having a really hard time how much text/dialogue there was. Someone said they played for three hours and only had two battles! I appreciate story in a game but that seems like it might be too much for me. I'm old, I will fall asleep, lol.

I was so pumped for this, it was going to be a day one purchase...and then season pass. I sort of wonder if it is just better to wait until the inevitable(?) re-release that includes all the extra content like they did with World of Final Fantasy or Theatrrhythm (spelling? lol).

@StarPoint they shut down the Wii shop years ago and I can still play Smash and Paper Mario so I can't imagine this would be any different.

So, wait, I 1) pay for the game, 2) pay for a season pass, then 3) have to grind to unlock to get the character before the season runs out? Are they f#$%ing serious?

Honestly, if you paid for this, you deserve all the errors. Inexcusable that these games are cloud exclusive.

So is Disney just not making real video games ever again? Nothing but free to play, micro-translation fests from now on, I guess 🤷

@NDragon1412 Oh, wow. Hmm, that is weird that the US Amazon site still has nothing. I guess I will just have to wait until closer to release and see what happens.

What about the rumor that the English version is going to be digital only? Can y'all confirm that?

@BloodNinja that's exactly it. I don't feel secure purchasing a lot of stuff digital because I do not trust Nintendo not to change the deal or pull the plug.

I would like a physical copy but I think paying $100 is absolutely ridiculous (I don't want or need all the extras). I guess I will just wait and see if it gets a retail release. Shovel Knight did so idk why this wouldn't.

Why does Nintendo hate when people try to listen to the music from their games or even play old games, but then turn around and do nothing to address a clear market demand? Video game soundtracks seem to be a Japanese exclusive far too often. You keep shutting down emulators but the Switch online libraries grow at a snail's pace and completely at random (let's be real here, it should be a monthly thing). There is no virtual console on the Switch. You wouldn't need to pursue legal action if your freaking games/music were available to the public.

I wish Final Fantasy 6 would get a remaster or something. I am glad people like 7 but it is a bit frustrating to see it get all the attention.

I have to echo the sentiments of this review. There are so many cheap/lame frustrations that I have to wonder if they tested the game. i kept dying to the giant monster you fight in the first level and once I finally beat him, the creature dropped into the ocean and I died again. I had to do the fight all over again because I had no idea I had to get back to the boat.
Then once I got to the second level, I thought ok, maybe this isn't so bad. But the closeness of the (repetitive) combat and lack of healing items led to another cheap death and I found that all your money is lost upon death so I had seen enough. I'm glad it was free via the Christmas promotion.

I have to wonder how many people that griped about the price were right there at the front of the line to pay for this expansion. I wish there had been, idk, more tiers available? I don't play Animal Crossing so "including" the DLC means nothing and Genesis games are so readily available that it just isn't a selling point for me. I'm dying to replay Paper Mario and Pokemon Snap but I'm in no hurry to pay that $50.

Single use TMs? Really? Why are we moving backwards? I always end up holding onto my single use TMs for the whole damn game, afraid I'll use them and immediately regret it. I was so looking forward to Sinnoh with modern improvements and unlimited TMs was one of them so this is a huge bummer for me, personally. #casualplayer

I loved the first Chocobo Racing so I am pumped for this one. The unique abilities for the characters, the upgradeable spells, the unlockables, racer customization...a lot of stuff to love. It would be really cool to see a Kingdom Hearts character on the roster for this one, haha.

Hey Nintendo, obviously we love your stuff but I'm confused, how was there lost revenue if a massive portion of your back catalog is nearly impossible to access for so many people? If you're worried about lost revenue, create a comprehensive virtual console service for the Switch. The free games are cool but there are so many great games out there not represented there, I'd gladly pay to download them. Piracy is wrong but you aren't meeting your audience's demands so wtf do you expect? What's the line? "If you build it, they will come." Prices on retro media are so sky high now that if you put GBA, N64, GameCube, Wii, DS/3DS titles on the eShop for reasonable prices, people will buy them up. Puts away soap box thank you.

I caught a couple shinies in the Ultra Wormholes in Ultra Moon but I don't really count those. I think the rates are skewed in the wormholes. Other than the Red Water Onix, I have yet to see a shiny in the wild. The search continues!

I don't understand why they would do this. They announced months ago that they weren't releasing any more new content or new events for the game. The game had been out maybe a year at that point so many gave up on it, why bring it to another console? This is weird...

@Kang81 I have also been hoping it would mean making Bowser playable. Trying not to get my hopes up, though, lol.

@Zoda_Fett I started getting back into the game during quarantine and I can tell you, it is not easy to earn for everyone. No Pokemon appear in my suburban neighborhood, there are no stops or gyms within walking distance. One pokemon appears each day when I log in and that's it. I have not earned a single coin this whole time. This 7 days or 1000 coins thing is ridiculous. And I would love to play more but I literally cannot if all I can do is walk around to hatch one egg at a time or collect two gifts a day. Idk why my neighborhood is so barren but it is really frustrating.
