As if Overcooked! needed any more content at this stage, Team17 and Ghost Town Games have announced that even more scrumptious gameplay is now available in a free update for Overcooked! All You Can Eat.
The update has arrived to celebrate the franchise's fifth anniversary, adding five new birthday-themed levels, a new Tabby Cat chef, a recipe to make a cup of tea, and even a new mechanic. Called 'Switcheroo', this new and mischievous way to play sees living playing cards stalking certain levels, transporting players across the kitchen.

Speaking about the game's fifth anniversary, Ghost Town Games co-founder Phil Duncan has shared the following:
"Five years on, still the most rewarding aspect of working on Overcooked! is getting to see and hear the reaction from players around the world. Seeing the fan art, the music covers, the cosplay and even the occasional tattoo is something I'll never get used to. Hearing stories about players bonding with friends and loved-ones over their time spent playing the game together is something we're humbled to have played a part in."
Overcooked! All You Can Eat includes more than 200 levels in total, made up of those present in both of the original main games and all their DLC. You probably don't need us to tell you, but it's a very tasty package indeed.

So is this DLC only for the All You Can Eat bundle or is it also for those of us who bought everything in that bundle but separately?
It's a shame that actual fans who bought Overcooked 1 and 2 can't celebrate the 5th Anniversary if they haven't re-bought the games with the All You Can Eat version.
These games just keep on giving! I couldn't help myself with a PS5 copy and 2 copies for Switch!
It's nice to have both games with all (most) of the DLC included on the cart/disc. I can't complain about more content but I'm ready for Overcooked 3 now.
@Ogbert yeah this is *****
hooooooold on a second...
-grinning cat chef
-recipe for tea
-living playing cards
-mushrooms and roses all over the promo art
It's a Wonderland expansion. What an Unbirthday present!
@PALgamer
That's me. I'm so disappointed.
@Alienfreaks04 Yeah that really sucks for those of us who supported the game, at full price, as it was released.
I don't understand the logic here? They're basically saying "here's a special thanks for folks who didn't support us on the way and waited to get a cheap bundle. And everyone who did...go play something else"
