I thought it seemed quite good. Would have liked a little more info on story, dungeons etc but still quite interesting overall. Only thing I wasn't keen on was that ascend ability. Quite liked climbing mountains in the last one and hoping the stamina bar would hold out lol I guess there will still be a lot of climbing but this seems to remove the need a bit lol

Will be interesting to see what people can do with these new skills though!

Probably my favourite game I have played this year. Takes me back to playing some of the older but golden JRPG's but still adds enough for it to stand on its own merits! Really a great suprise!

The pepsi logo and toothpaste comparisons are really good haha. The hair colour choice is sure different but kind of like it. Overall I thought this trailer was great, can never have enough fire emblem.

Loaded the free version up with the intention of upgrading if any good. Did anyone else just find the whole game pass and currency screen like something pulled straight out of a mobile game? I might just be getting old but found it all a little confusing lol

Damn, much rather just pay for a decent sized dlc down the road like what mario kart is doing! These season pass things to try make the game a full time job don't appeal to me at all. Great review though!

I'd quite like to see what Sony could so with it. Maybe a game similar in style to god of war could be interesting.

Yeah I'd be way more happy for that option! I love sega games but there are just way easier ways to play them right?

Another thing bothering me is why add the dlc for a game people may or may not actually own. Why not just offer a switch game. The Tetris and Mario game they introduced were well received right? Just seems odd to add content for something that a large amount of the switch fan base may not actually be able to access.

Can't speak for everyone but I know I would have been happy if they left the sega games out of this. You can play them elsewhere. They should have invested more in bringing other legacy Nintendo systems into the service such as Gameboy or something. They have so many celebrates systems and games it's a shame they don't want to have them represented in their online offering.

The whole thing is just bizarre. Nintendo are really getting a bit too arrogant with some of the decisions they have made recently. Such a shame aswell as this seemed a really good opportunity to really improve the NSO offering! At this point I'd just be happy with the return of the virtual console and just paying for a online service that has all the functions you would expect from 2021.

I like it all apart from the overworld chibi character designs. Just looks a bit tacky to me. Each to their own though and still really looking forward to all that was announced

I think his tone was wrong but definitely agree with his message in general. I have always thought it must be frustrating for honest developers when other companies out right lie about a game. I think these lies bring down the whole sector and it's only fair that people in the industry have a voice/platform to call out bad practices. If not then I feel we will always be stuck with the buy now and play when fixed six months down the line scenario.

Been struggling to put this down since grabbing it yesterday. Really good game which definatly deserves that 10/10 score.

I think you both are right. Though I'd really like to see third parties create new games tailored for the Nintendo switch instead of just releasing ports. Don't get me wrong I love a good port but would love to see what third party Devs could do creating fresh games purely for the switch!

Already have this on pc but love the game and larian studios in general so much game for your money!

Im playing it through game pass on pc aswell and it isn't running great even though my pc meets the settings alright! I changed it to windowed setting instead of full screen and it seems to run a little smoother. Maybe worth a shot. Might not work but thought I'd suggest it lol

This really isn't surprising. The footage I have seen for the Witcher 3 port looks great but you can really see the sacrifices they have made to get it to run. I reckon cyberpunk may be one step to far.

But hey, it's amazing they took the time to get us the port of the Witcher that many people requested! Cd project red really are great!

That's a shame as I'm a huge fan of the legend of heroes series and that YS VIII was also a really good port

I like the idea but the only concern for me is the quality of some of the games coming onto the system. There have been some games that have had issues in hand held mode and I just hope that these issues are highlighted well to consumers before they purchase these games.

Still, a great system for people not fussed about playing on a TV!

Fully agree with this comment! I assumed this would be the entry to really make those big changes and reinforce why the switch is such an upgrade over the 3ds!

That being said, I won't pass too much judgement until I play the game XD

Can't speak for anyone else but I'm more concerned about how the switch runs the game. There seems to be quite a bit of difference depending on which review you read! I'm all for making my own opinion about a game but for the price of this port it doesn't hurt to do a bit of research to make sure it runs well before dropping your money on it.

Either way, I hope you enjoy the game!
