Huh? Does the game do something special that means it wouldn't be possible on the 3DS?

I don't think the GBA games are going to be emulated. The 3DS has the hardware needed to run GBA games built in(because it's same chipset as the DS) so it will be actual backwards compatibility. That's probably why they don't plan to sell them at the moment.

Of course if they get emulation working they'll probably change their minds.

@HugoSmits 5 DS games!? Wow... independently or with other companies? Any plans for 3DS download stuff or are you going to stick with the bigger audience for the time being?

@SunnySnivy It was revealed with Monster Hunter. It seems Nintendo made it specifically for the game, possibly to actually get the game on the system.

I think this is all part of Nintendo's pursuit for third party support and it's a very dangerous game to be playing. They're willing to damage their brand for one, admittedly massive, third party franchise.

The EU eShop manager is terrible. We had the worst start and now that things were looking decent they decide that they can take a break because of the Ambassador games... WTF?

If it gets a PAL release I will purchase it.

Yeh, Urban Champion isn't a good game but the 3D update looks pretty damn good... the presentation I mean.

I think this is a great review and the game is a lot of fun but it does get quite difficult!

I only have Zombie BBQ and I got up to the fairground boss and couldn't beat it.;(

@ryanthehedgehog: Dude, they're not sprites. They are full 3D models, this game(and its prequel) are much more impressive than Pokémon.

@bboy2970: I think the general stability of software has to be judged regardless of the price. I can deal with a download game having less content or not looking as good as a retail equivalent but the game should fundamentally work properly.

A six is definitely fair, there's some issues that shouldn't be there.

This is a meh week. Game Gear games should be coming some time this month though.

Yeah there's a career mode and you have to unlock characters and customisation options.

Lets Golf was put in the shop last week here but said "coming soon to the eShop" which was changed at 2pm. It took a while to download with its gigantic size though!

@bboy2970: The full update doesn't appear to have happened yet but Lets Golf was made available to purchase.

It seems like good fun so far and I'm not that familiar with the iphone version(only saw trailers/screenshots) but it appears to look pretty much identical.

@bboy2970: I'm playing the game now, looks very nice but gameplay is a bit simplistic.

@bboy2970: It's right there on its info page it only has two player which is done by handing the system to the other person... I'm not even sure it has wireless local.

Yeh, I hope more games are online in the future. It's a bit of a shame Lets Golf doesn't have online whilst the iphone version does.

...and yeah talking about the download cap if the blocks are the same size(which I'm sure they are) then the size limit for 3DSware is at least 192mb.(probably more)

@9 The 3DS menu expands when you fill it up. As long as you have space on your SD card you're good to go.

I'm more than happy with this. I got to have the 3DS early, build up a library(and play some awesome games) and now I'll be getting 10 free NES and 10 GBA games... I'm cool with that. Plus there will be a ton more people to streetpass and play multiplayer with!

I only paid £199.99 for my 3DS but if it means I get 10 free NES games and 10 free GBA games I'm more than happy. Bring on the good times.

7 is a good score. The game is fun, looks pretty nice even though it's simple and the 3D not only enhances the visuals but also helps the gameplay. It's a lot of fun.

Also I'm intrigued by Lets Golf 3D... mainly because the iphone version is over 300mb so it might tell us how big eShop games can be.

@pixelman I though the Asphalt games are considered their best?(apart from Asphalt 3D funnily enough)

Interestingly on their Youtube page it says coming this summer... so if it is indeed for summer it has to come in the next 5 weeks or so.

Hope more eShop goodness is announced in the coming weeks.

@wariowoods The PSP version is a lot darker, and twisted. They kiddified it for the Nintendo audience.
