This isn't part of the SaGa series btw, that would Final Fantasy Legend which is part of the SaGa series. SaGa games are known for being quite brutal so Mystic Quest doesn't really fit in with the series anyway.
Numbers can be decieving though, we still don't know what model of Pica it's using and considering that DMP added 3DSquare(3D support) to their chips recently it's likely Nintendo is using a custom version.
The main things we learn from this is that is has more VRAM than the Wii, the same RAM as the Xbox and that it consumes a quite low amount of power. It's battery life should be good and Nintendo said it's aiming for the DSi's battery life.
What videos are you guys watching? This game has much better graphics than Modern Warfare Reflex, the textures are better, character models much higher polygon levels, lighting is several magnitudes better and the characters animate superbly.
In fact the game is running on the same engine, and looks very similar, to Dead Space: Extraction which is apparently one of the best looking Wii games.
...and honestly to the people saying it looks like an early Gamecube games, go back to an early Gamecube game an compare. Here's Nightfire on the Gamecube, by the same developers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4AY9oDyrdw
Arc Rise Fantasia better be released at some point! I don't think they have anything for the next fiscal year though so I guess that's the most likely time for it,
@James Yes, it might be to keep the matchmaking simple too, if you're all voting then people will end up playing games they don't want to.... It'd be nice if private matches could use the modifiers though.
It seems to be a bit of a double edged sword with how they've developed the online and offline separately.
@Bulba: EA doesn't use friend codes funnily enough and I think one of the much touted features of Zangeki No Reginliev(which is Nintendo's last online game IIRC) is that it has a full lobby set up.
Activision will most likely make a 3DS version but I doubt we'll see Goldeneye 2(although more Bond games would be likely), you've got to keep in mind that the development team actually has a lot of people from EON so Activision probably can't do whatever they want.
On topic: That's pretty obvious but the game does look good and Activision does know that quality is a good marketing point so it's a win-win situation for consumers AND Activision.
@Will.iPhone_3GS: I think the games going to be a 12, there's no gore and it captures a bigger audience so probably children are intended to be playing it.
I'm not too fussed anyway, don't like voice chat and I don't use it too often on my 360. 8 players sounds a bit low but the gameplay looks fun and very quick, no waiting to respawn and small arenas so 8 players might work really well.
@buffalobob: And Dead Space: Extraction is a 'guided first person experience'./sarcasm
@Nin1Od0: We may want hardcore games but we don't want crappy, low budget, low effort stuff. Sorry but I'm not letting myself be abused by third parties who aren't even going to try on the Wii anyway.
You do choose where you move by pointing to different areas of cover to move to that, other wise it's a standard rail shooter but they seem to be trying to promote it as a third person shooter.
Somehow I don't believe him.... perhaps it's because the games on the virtual console are emulated and not ported and NST does most of the work with the N64 titles.
It is clear that third parties are reluctant specifically with N64 titles though and I wonder what the real reason is? Could be filesize but then why wouldn't he just say that....
On Kotaku it says you can share your creations online, except on the Wii version so I wouldn't even bother being excited for this.EDIT: Lol it says it here and I somehow missed it.
It looks like one of those flash puzzle games... sigh they could have made a new Boom Blox instead...

Grrr. I want Mystic Quest but have no monies.

That's if these figures are true.
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th September 2010 (North America)
10 Second Run is awesome btw but you need some mad platforming skills on the later levels.
Re: Monsteca Corral Competition Winners
I didn't win.

Re: North America Gets to Run for Ten Seconds in Five Days
Good game but gets brutal on the later levels.
Re: n-Space Interested in Bringing Geist Back from the Dead on 3DS
Keep bugging Nintendo about it!
It's too bad Winter couldn't get a publisher too.

Re: Review: Racers' Islands: Crazy Racers (WiiWare)
Ouch, good job I waited for the review... too bad as well it seems like there was actual effort with the implementation of physx.
Re: GoldenEye Online to Keep You Addicted with Killstreaks, Perks and More
I hope they don't go off the deep end with perks and killstreaks.... MW2 is a bit of a cluster**** at times.
Can the modifiers be used online then or the online and splitscreen totally different?:S
Re: Let's Look at Some New Dead or Alive: Dimensions Screenshots
Game looks really good. It's weird to think that the 3DS is getting all these games that the Wii didn't...
Re: XGen Studios Readying Machinarium and Super Motherload for WiiWare
Wha? Machinarium? Wow, what a pleasant surprise!
Re: Rune Factory 2 Ripe and Ready for Europe in October
I don't know whether I'll get this. I jumped in with Frontier just a few weeks ago and I'm still enjoying that...among other games!
But Rising Star..... please bring over Earth Seeker!

Re: Rejected! No Online Play for NBA Jam
EA doesn't use Nintendo's system though, they use their own system and servers so there's pretty much no way you can blame Nintendo for this.
Re: Disney Epic Mickey Intro Video - Part 2
Hehe, I think the game looks awesome and haters can go away!
Poor Oswald though...
Re: Racers' Islands: Crazy Racers Off the Starting Grid Next Week
The fact that it uses Physx is pretty impressive, only about three other Wii games do.
Re: Original GoldenEye Designer Suspicious of Wii Publisher's Eye for Gold

Re: Nintendo Lays Out PAX Showing
DQIX has sold 132K first month in America and over 50K in the UK(and is sold out) and it's been topping the charts in other European countries.
It's going to be the best selling ever.
Re: Gandalf Joins Aragorn's Quest in Co-operative Gameplay Video
Got to say, the graphics are surprisingly good, especially the lighting and particle effects.
Re: Japanese GO Series to Attack Europe and North America
Nice, Rising Star are the best.
Re: Exclusive Horizon Riders Screenshots Ready to Lock and Load
The graphics took a pretty big leap over the original trailer, which people were mocking.
Looks really good IMO.
Re: Sabarasa Blasts Us with Horizon Riders Trailer
Wow, looks much improved. Might have to get this....(I'm going to be poor with all these games) or ?
Re: Features: Bizarre Emails Sent to Nintendo Life
The amount of people who think you guys ARE Nintendo is funny.
Re: GoldenEye Multiplayer Doubles-Up but Loses its Voice
@Varo & ECM: That's why people tend to only use mics for XBL parties... I know that's the only time I use my headset.

Re: THQ Brings Art Alive on Wii with uDraw Studio
After seeing the trailer.... doesn't look so bad.... the adventure game looks a bit like Ivy the Kiwi even!
Probably won't buy it but looks like some actual effort is being put into this!
Re: Epic Mickey Cinematic Intro is Suitably Cinematic
That short is awesome and it just shows that Warren and his team know their Disney stuff.
Re: Epic Mickey Cinematic Intro is Suitably Cinematic
I love this intro. Captures the Disney magic so well and Mickey's ear always face forward.
Can't wait for the game.
Re: Review: Space Trek (WiiWare)
You were right, it was more fun reading the review than playing the game.*
*not actually played the game, don't intend to either.
Re: Nintendo's Q4 Schedule Outs BIT.TRIP FATE

It's the Ghost Recon game, he works for Ubisoft.

Re: Ghost Recon Shows Different Strategy to Invade Wii
It looks like a third person version of Heavy Fire.... with worse graphics and Heavy Fire was poo...
Re: Art Academy Paints a Pretty Picture Inside UK Top Five
Dragon Quest IX is still no 4 on the individual formats chart, 4 weeks in a row now.

Re: Nintendo Download: 13th August (Europe)
Awesome update!
Been waiting for Drift Street International!
Re: Ivy the Kiwi? Gets Release Date
@accc: Mini versions are being released on the Wiiware and DSiware that don't have all the content.
Re: Last Story's Website Gets Updated With Info & Screenshots
By the end of the year. Probably at the fall conference!
Re: High Voltage Employees Get Layoff Shock
@y2josh: I reckon they'll hire a lot of the people back after they've released Conduit 2 and whatever licensed software they're working on.
Re: High Voltage Employees Get Layoff Shock
More than likely the Tournament of Legends but this could have been avoided if they made better games.... as cruel as that sounds.
And I own both Tournament of Legends and The Conduit!(I also own two of their Hunter games:P)
Re: Gods vs Humans Smites You with In-Game Teaser
Awesome, love the look of it and it does look like My Life As a Darklord!
Re: Aonuma Confirms Zelda is Not the Skyward Sword
Skyward Sword is the Owl!
It all makes sense!
Re: Sakurai Testing, Testing Kid Icarus: Uprising's Online Features
@Adam: Sakurai said as much, he said he wants it close to launch but it most likely won't be at launch.
Which seems weird considering it's the flagship title.

A High Voltage game that people like?
