Re: Review: The Outer Worlds - Obsidian's Fallout-Style RPG Is Worth A Look On Switch

@Ralek85 You seem to write of the game, based on visuals alone. Recommending it only as a last resort. Having played this game for a few days now I would say that’s mostly based on taste. I think the vibe of the game is very much intact. The humor still comes across in all elements of the game, so does the combat, the visuals do take a big hit but is hasn’t put me of in any way. I would say the visuals will mostly bother you if you’ve played the game on other -stronger- hardware. It’s still a great game -even if you have the option of playing it on more powerful devices.

@Nintendolife I’ve been away for a while to find out you have all kind of new series(ranking best games for GC and this for instance). Great stuff!
Japan clearly wins of course. You want those puppets to shine.

Bad North and Prison Architect are both on my wishlist. However I would like to know if the Switch version of PA holds up, especially since I already spent over 200 hrs in it. Such an addicting game. And I mean that in the best of ways.
@Nintendolife can we expect a review anytime soon?

Re: Review: Bad North (Switch eShop)

Order2Chaos

Excellent, can’t wait to play this! But first I have to clean up my backlog a bit, it’s getting out of a hand. Hopefully they keep adding stuff to the game, extra modes, unit types, etc. The game has so much potential.

Re: Review: Dead Cells (Switch)

@JayJ Well-worded argument why this type of game doesn’t suit you. But I am curious, to give me a frame of reference, which games in the same genre type did he review?

Re: Guide: Nintendo E3 2018 Press Conference Schedule, Rumours, Hopes, And Dreams

Order2Chaos

Hopes and dreams for this E3:

Metroid Prime HD trilogy(or released as individual remasters)
Wave Race(there is no game with the same vibe, please Nintendo)
Link’s Awakening(remake, have to thank Easy Allies for this, wouldn’t have thought of it otherwise)
Paper Mario(in the same vein as Thousand Year Door preferably)
Advance Wars(all the ways they could improve on this simple but deep concept, it could keep me awake all night)
Viewtiful Joe(remaster or a whole new game, I don’t really care)
Persona series(this series has always peeked my interest, but for some reason I haven’t bought it on PS4)

Octopath and Mario Tennis are locked.
Got my eye on;
Battlechasers
Little Nightmares
Moonlighter
Yoku’s Island Express
Unexplored
West of Loathing
Bad North
Banner Saga Trilogy

Still looking for a good fighting game though, whilst Blazblue or SF 30th might fit that bill, it won’t be easy for newcomers to join in for some friendly matches -this severely influences my interest, shame.

Re: Wulverblade Cuts Its Way To The Switch eShop Next Week

@fullyilly Everything you've said just further cements that this is a game that got a lot of love and care. Difficulty(arcade mode baby ), characters, music, etc. it all sounds great! I really can't wait till the 12th.
You're awesome, thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions(and everybody else's), I wish you all the best.

Re: Wulverblade Cuts Its Way To The Switch eShop Next Week

Order2Chaos

@fullyilly Well that all sounds excellent. The combo system your describing has me salivating(a Bayonetta/DMC combo system would've been insane haha ;D). You are however enticing me to ask more;
Does it have the difficulty of the beat 'm ups of yore?
Do the 3 available characters fight -and feel differently?
Can you describe how the arena's work?
Why aren't you mentioned in the e-shop?!

Re: Wulverblade Cuts Its Way To The Switch eShop Next Week

Order2Chaos

@fullyilly I've been looking for a great beat 'm up and your game got my attention from the moment I saw the trailer.
Love the music, artstyle, you being influenced by real historical events during that time; it just gives the whole game a lot of atmosphere. The interview you did with NL was also sublime -the passion! I was sold after that.
I still have two questions after all that if you don't mind; In the trailer there's being mentioned of a rich 8 level campaign, how long would you say an average person would take to complete it?
Can you do combo attacks, stringing different moves together -or even cooperatively?

Re: Feature: Our Nintendo Hopes and Dreams for E3 2017

@Ralek85 "maybe their own take on the Souls formula.."
Oh my, now that get's my blood pumping.. The possibilities.
Retro staff mentioned long ago to Nintendo they wanted to work on a new IP, we could see a game that they've been wanting to make for years -games build with so much passion tend to be the best(some examples set aside).

Bayonetta 2 is a good example. Nintendo does seem to understand you want to attract a wide variety of gamers trough fan service -and Metroid fits that bill perfectly(Better then a Bayonetta 3 I reckon).

Haha so you'll "settle" for a Metroid Prime 4 -I could live with that as well.^^

Re: Feature: Our Nintendo Hopes and Dreams for E3 2017

Order2Chaos

In the vein of E3 dream announcements a new Waverace is at the top of my list.
Especially the first game gave me the feeling of a sun-filled holiday vacation, splashing through the waves on my jet-ski. I could literally feel the water. Life was good.

Re: Feature: Our Nintendo Hopes and Dreams for E3 2017

Order2Chaos

@Ralek85 I think you made an excellent point there. That said, a new IP -just like Bloodborne- could very well be something that wins everyone's heart. You don't need Metroid. Although I'd love a great new iteration of the Prime series -or the 2d versions don't get me wrong.

Re: Video: FIFA 18 Gets Shown Off In Japanese Nintendo Switch Commercial

Order2Chaos

@CircuitWrangler3 Well they sort of have to right? It's how they subsist.

"It's just...I'm getting tired of all this. You know? It's like I'm living in the Twilight Zone, and everybody's phased out of reality."
I can totally relate. Feel the same way actually. Hopefully the negative view that's on everything related to the Switch will dissipate quickly.

Your very welcome btw.😉

Re: Video: Nintendo Shows Off Football / Soccer in Latest Mario Sports Superstars Trailer

Order2Chaos

@rjejr First off, I don't think Nintendo is very much in trouble with their current line-up -especially if Xenoblade 2 releases this year- but I was expecting larger third party support. That sign of fait would've made it more convincing. Although i'll have enough to play throughout the year.

Man, that's an excellent list! I'd be beside myself with happiness if we got that in the Switch's lifespan.

I hope they've got a few games still up their sleeve as well for E3. A new IP by Retro would but awesome, but I could live with a new Metroid game.😜 Perhaps a glimpse of Pokémon Stars or Pikmin.
A new Waverace would be a dream come true -it won't happen, but a man can dream right?
