@Mahe Please tell you've played the game (not just the demo). It may not be the prettiest version of one of the best games of all time, but for my money it's still a better remake than Ocarina of Time 3D.

Just beat the Fear in MGS3D (chickened out and killed him instead of just knocking him out). Still loving it.

I'm noticing some seeming contradictions between the content of this review and Mr. Reed's impressions in the DSiWare thread. I would like an explanation.

@warioswoods has explained how difficult it would be to add a second Circle Pad to a potential 3DS revision without major complications, so the only thing I see happening is the 3DS XL that's still nearly as big as a regular 3DS w/ CCP.

Is the dialogue as bad as Furry Legends WiiWare?

@Jebby That's sort of the point. The Wii ones were simple (still took up every possible block because of the music), and the HD one is going to look, well, HD. Which the Wii (least of all WiiWare) can't handle, by the way.

Only problem is that the CPP's circle pad feels different than the built-in one, I hear, which might affect awesomeness for lefties.

If this game was 400 points (the amount I have on my system), I would get it. Looks fun.

Quickly beaten, then? 1 hour is a pretty short campaign mode, and 4 hours of stuff to beat overall isn't much. Of course if the game is high quality (which I don't doubt), and the levels are as replayable as in Flipper 1, then this will be a downloadable classic, which is why I'm still sold.

It's not 99¢ iPhone games competing for my cash, it's other eShop titles that could potentially provide more entertainment than Mutant Mudds. We'll see if it's up to snuff upon release, otherwise my $25.01 eShop balance may be spent elsewhere.
