Yep and the reported sales for that game were weak. When Nielsen reports the #2 reason people bought a Wii U is better for kids that tells you their target market. Why do you think the third party games that have all that junk in them do not sell very good on their platform? It is not their target market.

Nintendo can be mainstream without the filth. Look at the Wii sales and the Luigi deathstare. Now they are making an appearance at Universal studios, possibly a Netflix series, amiibo are selling like crazy, there have been Nintendo happy meal toys, and they are dipping their toes in esports. Twitch streams of Super Smash Bros tournaments rank very high in viewership.

Mainstream does not equal 9mm and stripper poles.

.....Now if we could just get some of that Nintendo cereal back on the shelves.

Well with Zelda Wii U out of the holiday picture I would image Pokken Tournament with a complete wave of 10-15 Pokemon amiibo compatible with the game released around Black Friday in US would help fill that void tremendously.

So my wife asked for a red new 3ds xl for valentines day. She got that a steak diner, majoras mask, and three amiibos. She got me a red new 3dsxl, majoras mask, monster hunter 4, and 2 amiibos. Why not have the best of both worlds?

I am getting fantasy life, ultimate nes remix, captain toad, Kirby triple deluxe, and hyrule warriors.

My original hot rod red Mario kart edition Ds and copies of Mario kart Ds and animal crossing wild world kept me from going crazy while I was away from home at college.

I have been looking everywhere for a defective amiibo to sell and have not found one yet.

Will trophies be transferable via street pass? That would add a whole other level to trophy collecting.

You are the one trying to use a physics book to explain a mushroom kingdom racer that is embarrassing. If this has not been an issue in any other Mario kart and yet it is in mk8 that makes it an exploit of this game and it should be patched. I doubt the development team sat around and said let's add fire hopping to the game.

Ok you hop down the straight away with no initial speed boost and I will keep my tires on the ground in mario kart and let's see you gets to the end of the the straightaway first. It will not be you. If you want to play gran turismo go play that.

So using that logic if I have hopped down a straightaway without boosting I should be going faster than if my wheels are on the ground that is not the case. The game allows people to continue to boost while they are in the air hopping . If my wheels are off the ground I should not be going faster therefore it is an exploit. This is Mario kart not F-zero.

It is an exploit in a game that should be fair too all particpants. The first time a football team exploited the use of a forward lateral the league made a rule that fixed the problem.

Hmmm the media attacking Nintendo after they refused to patch a certain game a couple of weeks ago....imagine that.

Yes with a gamepad about the size of the vita. L2/L3, R2/R3 buttons. Games would be playable anywhere regardless of internet connection.

Why? You would have one device that provides a single and dual screen experience.

What if the device incorporated one screen (like an ipad) that can display one full picture or players have the option of pushing a button to place a black dividing line across the middle of the screen for a quasi- dual screen experience?

The 2DS is the perfect compromise. I traded in my 3DS XL last week and bought the 2DS and it is very comfortable. It reminds me of the original GBA. I happen to like the dual screens personally.

My anticipation level is over 9000.

I preordered Mario Kart 8 yesterday and played Mario Kart 7 on my 2ds. I am ready!

Sonic Lost World...may pick up a 2ds.

They can bury me while still clinging to my 3ds and when they lower me in the ground I want them to play the sound the green pipe makes when Mario is entering it.

Android just go to the Google play store and type in animal crossing. It should be something like acnl guide. It is a really good app.

I have an animal crossing app on my tablet now that can do the push notifications of town events.
