Three hours into yoshi's new island and I am glad to say it is a good game. If you were on the fence...buy it.

This game is fun. I am glad I did not listen to the review. I disliked the DS version but this one is a lot more fun in my opinion.

So there is no option to use the circle pad to link Pokemon in the link box, I have to use the stylus to perform this task?

Dave thank you for sharing this story. I hope the younger readers keep this in mind as life starts hitting them full force. Money and fame is not everything in life... being happy ,loving what you do, and being content is what counts.

I just want to be able to play all the Wii games with dual analog stick controls. I was not a big fan of motion controls.

I respect Mr. Iwata so much.

And EA has been dead to me for years.

I have always wanted a Pokemon kart game.

I bought a Wii u just for the possibility of metroid in HD. I would love to play both Mario galaxy games using dual sticks and I am all for skyward sword with dual stick control.

Not for me. We use to have subway's built into the one's close to me but they pulled the Subway franchise out of them. The bigger towns do have a McDonald's though. I would love to be able to grocery shop at wal-mart and pick up street passes.

Put Nintendo zones in Walmart that would help in so many ways. I think McDonalds is starting to get suspicious of my truck always sitting in their parking lot for street passes and animal crossing dlc.

My favorite Nintendo moment was the countless number of hours spent on miiverse this year. Especially during the leadup to e3. The sense of community on miiverse and on this website is my favorite thing about gaming. For the first time since 1996, I am nintendo exclusive in my gaming. BTW pikmin 3 game of the year.

I only purchase Wii U games that support this feature and then I put in every Club Nintendo survey that ALL Wii U games should use the feature.

I will never purchase an EA game again so it does not matter to me. They no longer even exist in my mind.

My understanding is that on the 3ds game one can install the skylanders. Is that feature available for the wii u off TV play?

Splinter Cell got very little advertising and was late to market (i.e. the hype train had passed) and Rayman Legends is NOT a $60 game experience. I picked Rayman Legends up for $40 this weekend at Gamestop.
