Re: New Smash Bros. Brawl Info Tomorrow

Nanaki

I am happy waiting for this game, for as long as it takes. I really hope Nintendo do not give into the pressure to release this title before it has been made perfect.

Hopefully tomorrow will see the appearance of new characters too...

Re: Review: Metal Slug Anthology

Nanaki

Love the review, the lead in was fantastic!

I remember playing the metal slug games when I was a kid. Me and my best mate used to spend all our money trying to complete them. I might have to get this game now...

Re: Iwata To Satisfy Hardcore Gamers

Nanaki

if those three titles do indeed make it out this year, then Nintendo will be in the money.

Although I am really interested to see what happened to titles like Disaster Day of Crisis and Project Hammer.

Re: Suited Samus Enters The Brawl?

Nanaki

I was expecting this to be confirmed sooner or later. Too many people play as Samus for Nintendo to ax the original from the game. I am really eager to see who the other mystery characters are. If Nintendo managed to get Sonic then many gamers dreams will be coming true soon.

Re: Boogie Teaser Trailer

Nanaki

This game does hold a small fraction of my interest at the moment. But I really do want to see how the controls work; that video did not really demonstrate much.

Re: GAME Aquires Gamestation

Nanaki

Yeah, I think that how it is.

I work in GameStation, so I will know soon enough. I don't think it would make too much sense to merge the companies into one unit. Game and GameStation are distinctly different and appeal to different kinds of gamers.

... and I like the image comment Ant

Re: Review: Final Fantasy III

Nanaki

Yeah, it is a love it or hate it kind of franchise.

I have been playing the US version of FFIII for a while now and I totally agree with the review. It is an awesome game!

Re: Wii's Friend Code Woes

Nanaki

Yeah, per game is rubbish.

The friend code system is really letting Nintendo's online service down. The amount of friends I have yet to add to my Wii because no one can remember their code is silly.

Goodness knows why they could not have gamertags like Microsoft have done. That seems to work fine and there have been no issues with the system.

Re: Review: Pokemon Diamond & Pearl

Nanaki

Good review!

I do agree about the visuals, the battles do look like the GBA versions. Still, there seems to be quite a chunk to this game, and I think players should be occupied for quite a while.

Re: Review: Dead 'N' Furious

Nanaki

Great review!

I had my reservations about this game at first. But 8/10 is an impressive score!

The DS has too few shooters out there. The concept can obviously work, I just hope more developers start bringing them out.

Re: Review: SSX Blur

Nanaki

I like the game, but you are spot on about the Ubertricks. Also, they should have given the characters personality- like in the old SSX titles.

Re: Review: Cooking Mama

Nanaki

Its quirky and good for short bursts. I don't think people will buy into this and expect a deep game.

I agree with the score though. Still worth buying if you like quirky games (especially as you can import for £13).

Re: Okami Heading To Wii?

Nanaki

I would love Okami on the Wii! I try to avoid funding Sony - not cause I don't like them, just cause I like to root for the underdog.... quite literally in this case

Re: Sony Says Wii Are Impulsive, You Say...

Nanaki

I think people currently are not buying into the PS3 because there just aren't enough killer apps out this year. Off the top of my head I cannot think of any truly awesome looking game out this year... thats just disgraceful.

Wii will be outselling the 360 at the moment because its a new machine. Time will tell if the demand drops lower than the 360's.

Re: SSX Blur Cover Art

Nanaki

Skiing didn't work in the last game, I just couldn't get the feel to it.

They should stick to boarding, even though skiing is for the pros

Re: SSX Blur Cover Art

Nanaki

The mystery to me is the few games I have with purple triangles (they are GC ones, and PAL too).

But nice cover art, I just hope the game is as good!

Re: Your View: Wii Sports

Nanaki

Tennis- This one has me a little dissapointed as, like Masterless, I am finding it hard to aim in the game.

Golf- Is probably the Wii sports game I have played the least. However I am rather impressed with it, the physics are great.

Boxing- Well, what can I say? This game is fantastic, I love it to bits. The controls arnt the greatest but its just awsome to slug away at your Wii

Bowling- It's quite cool and probably the most accurate of the sports games. I just feel though that there isint really much to it and I can't play it over and over.

Baseball- This is by far the longest of the Wii sports games and probably the hardest! I still havn't gotten myself a home -run, not to mention the fact I always seem to lose

Overall I think Wii sports is great concidering its bundled inside the Wii. There should be some way to compare acheivements online with friends though. You know like, I got x in bowling or x total home runs on my system. Stuff like that would be fun to have.

Re: Are Nintendo Copycats?

Nanaki

Hah, you have to laugh at all these greedy companies trying to make easy money at the expense of others.

Naturally this case will fail and after that I hope the company goes bust. Karma.

Re: Sony Patents Wii Remote Style Device

Nanaki

If its a good idea, copy it (obviously within reason). At the end of the day gamers will benefit from the added R&D poured into motion sensing games.

Nintendo will always be the ones that got there first though

Re: Game Head Reveal SSX Blur

Nanaki

I hope they get rid of custom characters and bring back the old cast. SSX 1-3 were awsome games because of the character personalities and interactions.

I don't have high hopes for the franchise, but it would be awsome to see them top SSX3 in terms of greatness.
