To be honest, the only review to supprise me was Gundam (which looks crap... but the Japanese love Gundam so bias must be there).

Thats an awsome review for Red Steel, its really hard to know what this game is like with such a large range of scores atm.

I can't wait to play this game. Its going to rock! Chances are I will like boxing the most, although its a shame to hear it isint as polished as the other games.

I play PS1 games still, I love N64 games and I enjoy GBA titles. Graphics have gotten to a point where they don't mean too much to me. Sure its nice to have them crisp, but gameplay is taking the front seat for this generation.

It will have to work off the Wii control system well for me to get this game. Otherwise I will stick to the PES on 360 ><'

I wonder if Pokemon still commands the same sales figures outside of Japan. I think the UK has moved on to be honest.

Yeh, they scrapped that idea I think. Probably due to the fact that most people have a DVD player nowdays (infact I have 3 systems in my room alone that play DVD's).

Its a demand thing, the Japanese population love their hardware maxed out. Apparantly the price was not low enough to get in orders so Sony are trying to boost popularity by decreasing it further.

The norm for new consoles (especially Sony's) is that the S&D remains relatively inelastic as they should sell out no matter what.

Sony lowering the price must mean that there was not enough interest to sell their 20GB machine.

I stick to my theory that Sony will be bankrupt (or will drop out of the console race) within 3 years.

Bloody hell, just when I had gotten my hopes up!

Yeah, this weekend is where I go around to work and GAME and get my preorders done ^^' I cannot afford to wait for this console.

Looking back now, I can see that £180 is still a decent price for what we are getting. Wii Sports was always a title that I was going to get, so no skin off my back there.

I am just a little let down that its only in white and the controllers take AA batteries. Otherwise, roll on the Wii

I am glad that its out this year, I was getting worried about a delay. I am not too pleased at the price though, Nintendo are really being cheeky charging us so much more than everyone else!

Its a shame about the Metroid delay, I was also expecting WarioWare to be on launch as well.

Yeah, I never realised that it wasnt free as well. In Japan its free for 6 months and then they have to pay for it, but I don't know if thats a one off payment :S.

Well there was the Wii pointer demo where they had a version of Duck Hunt going on.

This will probably be both a boost for the 360 and Wii over in Europe, a shame to hear that Europe is still the bitch of the gaming world.

I did own this game for a while, the trouble is that it could have been done as a GBA game really.

However it was quite fun to play, but I kind of lost the will to finish it when new releases came out

They will work with the pointer, not the classic controller

I would rather have original content for the Wii, but I suppose some games would be better if they were ported onto the Wii.
