@Diowine @Diowine metroid prime 4 needs the current switch's 145 million plus install base to continue growing. You can't blame the current Switch holders to make this game exclusive for the Switch 2. but I do hope they release an improved version on the switch 2

@Jack_Goetz Nintendo knows they need a great line up to make it a success. They saw that in 2017, that's why I expect the same again and perhaps even better because they are now in better order with all developers working on 1 console compared to the Wii U period. back then the development teams were divided between handheld and console. But we will see.

@Jack_Goetz I don't think so. Nintendo has learned from its mistakes and in 2017 Nintendo also had a great launch year in a much shorter period. Besides Mario Kart 8, there were all new games that year. In addition, we also get Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon za and the new Monolith soft game that should probably be released this year.
A Lot of epd teams haven't released games for years. they have been working for the switch 2 for years now.

if the switch 2 comes out in april or may it will sell more than the ps5.furukawa has said he wants to have enough consoles available at launch year to prevent scalping.

@Bolt_Strike @Bolt_Strike Nintendo has made an excellent decision not to release the Switch 2 in 2024. Oct-Dem sales figures show that the current switch only sold 5% less than the previous year in Oct-Dec.

@Bolt_Strike stop it man. you even think that the nintendo switch 2 will sell just like the n64 or even gamecube. you have already made yourself unbelievable. If you know the sales history of portable Nintendo consoles, you know that none have ever flopped. In Japan alone, the Nintendo Switch successor will sell 30 million.

I hope they use better thumbsticks like the pro controller.

@johnedwin If Nintendo really wanted to have that record, they could have achieved it much more easily with the Nintendo DS. Holding on to monuments is much more important..

@johnedwin than why is sony saying ps4 sold 117 million worldwide? If the ps4 and ps4 pro are separate then the ps4 has sold less than 100 million worldwide.

@johnedwin the ps4 has a total of 9.67 million in japan including pro sales. 4 million to go not 2.5 million.
