Re: Super Meat Boy Arrives on the Wii U eShop on 12th May

Is Nicalis behind this one as well? If so, well, better hold tight until all bugs are fixed (maybe two months?) and THEN get it. Oh, and 3DS? New 3DS exclusive, with as many bugs as possible and no possibility for further improvements on the game.

Yes, I'm still pissed off at them for not bringing Afterbirth to N3DS.

@MrGawain You're not familiar with the TBoI universe, are you? It's a reference to one of the new followers from Afterbirth, Bum-bo. His "flavour text" is "Bumbo want coin", like the subtitle of the game.

The community fell in love for him right in the start. And now he became so popular that he got his own game.

So no, there's nothing "random" about it.

@koochiekoo Dude, reread my post. And by the way, did I offend you in any matter? If that's not the case, does my post really irritated you to the point that you had to offend a complete stranger? I think it may be time for you to relax outside, get a breath of fresh air and vent your frustrations elsewhere. Peace.

Re: Editorial: Nintendo's YouTube Creators Program 'Beta' Provides Vital Feedback - It Won't Work

Interesting claim, this free advertising one... I keep thinking, Nintendo didn't have any video policies like one year ago, but the Wii U was struggling, even with said "free advertising". Now that Wii U is managing to rise a little bit (also without said "free advertising"), people are trying to teach Nintendo how to do business, or how they should manage their IPs. Really interesting. Actually, Nintendo was being badly advertised because of their policies last year, and Wii U managed to see two (or more) games hit the million threshold. I don't know man, I think Nintendo isn't really concerned with said "free advertising" (you are making money out of other people's creative work and call it free? ok then...). And, let's face it, they're kind of doing fine, especially with the 3DS over the 50 million mark.

And please correct me if I'm wrong, but Minecraft was a free game when all those Let's Play videos started, right? People started making money out of it, so more people got the game and started playing it and started making money out of it because people got the game and started... See my point? I really don't fall for this "free advertising" crap, honestly. Call it whatever you want, but don't act like you're Nintendo's savior, they're doing fine without you guys making money out of them.

@WaveyChristmas @aronatvw You guys know what advertising is, right? She probably knows all that stuff beforehand, but she had to "play dumb" for Miyamoto and Trinen's "explanation".

And something you guys should never forget: there are people out there who have no clue when it comes to game announcements. She's, for a starter, showing these to them. So, yeah, you've criticized her over nothing.

Re: Talking Point: A History of the Sexualisation of Samus

@Galenmereth Can I kiss your post on the cheek? I loved your point of view so much that I wanna marry it! I totally agree with you on that.

And do you guys know what's the worst part? These people complaining about the "oversexualisation of Samus" are still going to buy the game.
Please drop the insults and name-calling — TBD

Re: Talking Point: A History of the Sexualisation of Samus

MagusDiablo

I've read around the internet that women around the world are trying to un-sexualise the image of the naked female body. They are trying to make men understand that the female breast is not just a sex toy, it's part of their own body and that men should respect that. They are even trying to push laws ahead in order to be able to show their boobies (sorry, but it's the best word for them) whenever they want. And now this, complaining about a damned tank top and shorts, symply known as "gym outfit"? Oh, come on. Damn these double standars, PLEASE.

Re: Talking Point: A History of the Sexualisation of Samus

MagusDiablo

Oh my God, I seriously can't believe people are actually offended by that. People really need to get out of their computers and have a breath of fresh air in their faces in order to see that there's nothing wrong with a different clothing for her. It's not like people will lose the respect for the image of Samus and the Metroid saga just because she is wearing shorts and a tank top.

"OH-ÊM-GÊE THEY SEXUALISED HER!" - Come on guys, this is just a video game. Stop overreacting, for love's sake!

Re: Review: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (Wii U eShop)

@LtAldoRaine I gotta be honest here, I always follow these tutorials. Not because I need them, but I don't wanna fell like a stranger to the new things in the game. I experienced this on a completely different game, Super Mario 3D World, where I had no idea I could get inside a spinning shell. I only learned that post-endgame. And I think that, even though the tutorials are longer, they don't kill the rhythm, and aren't that annoying. And since I played both the normal mode and hard mode on M&L:DT I didn't feel this downside, even on the second playthrough.

Re: Review: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (Wii U eShop)

MagusDiablo

@Spoony_Tech i can't see any actual difference between the four games. All of them are incredibly funny, and the stories are awesome altogether. I went through a LOT of trouble to find Partners in Time and when I finally got it, it was an excellent experience. And not being the only one: there are a lot of people that think that Bowser's Inside Story is the worst of them...

Re: Review: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (Wii U eShop)

MagusDiablo

@LtAldoRaine None of the other Mario & Luigi have handholding? Of course they ALL have, and that's not bad AT ALL. All you guys gotta do is remember that you are not the only one playing the game. There are a LOT of people that never actually played the game, and they need to understand the system in order to have fun. Chill out, guys.
