I hope there's more content added to the WiiU version. That being said, ignore the reviews which criticise the game for not having challenge. It doesn't, but it's not the kind of game which you enjoy by feeling challenged.

Nintendo costumes in other games just look a bit odd to me. I think it might work better if there were more Nintendo characters with realistic proportions (well, stylised proportions similar to other games).

also @Phantom_R I can't help but feel like you're comparing the worst of visual novels to the best of conventional novels. There's some really awful stuff that have been vanity published in the past, and there are some visual novels which are written far more masterfully than a lot of mainstream literature. I recommend 999, Danganronpa, Clannad, Little Busters and Katawa Shoujo, although adult content warning on all of those except for the Key ones.

Square Enix decides to play to its strengths. I am excited.

I'll admit it's pretty futile to defend the content of the game or the advertising. I honestly thought it was going to be pretty niche. But it charted, and seeing as from the activity on this site it's fairly popular. As much as I would like to disagree that sex and controversy sells, we constantly see reminders that it's a truth of the industry. I'm still trying to figure out what implications that has for gaming as a whole though.

Oh, I assumed this game would be an upgrade of the previous game, but it's missing some of the songs

I like the song, I think it's pretty interesting and energetic. Only real complaint (and it's pretty minor) is that there's a lot of elements going on and there's no refrain so to speak, which is probably why people are saying it isn't memorable.

It would be totally embarrassing if I bought another copy of Dream Team Bros due to the sale... I was thinking that I wanted it until I remembered I have a brand new copy in a drawer somewhere. Gotta get around to it, eventually.

@shaneoh Yeah, it doesn't seem like something the mainstream retailers will stock. I think maybe the more obscure ones like Gametraders will get a copy, or maybe off Ozgameshop. I'll be getting digital though, don't really want a box like that hanging around my house :S

I want this game. But the only thing holding me back is the stigma of being a person who plays this game. I'm not a creepy person (or at least I hope not) irl, and I don't think playing this game will make me moreso. I'd say that we shouldn't judge each other by their video game tastes, but that shouldn't even need to be necessary. I just wanna play games, man.

Yeah, I totally couldn't tell. The amount Bravely Default has in common with a teen drama is pretty much zero.

This is a stupid idea. Especially since Nintendo's games already attract male and female gamers without pandering. It doesn't make sense to take games which weren't divided into gender demographics, and divide them.

Next installment in the Transformers gaming franchise implies that it's part of the War for Cybertron series? Those games actually looked pretty fun since their maps were designed around the ability to transform into cars and such.

These guys. I like these guys. There's nothing more dignified than acknowledging your mistakes, so I'm sure everyone at Nintendo will be working extra hard to reverse the situation they're in.
