I honestly haven't been this excited in something gaming related in many years. Whilst I enjoy my other consoles this gen in particular hasn't cracked up to much in my opinion. I feel like I really need this to get my gaming enthusiasm back.

I have to say as much as I love mine, even with a controller extender I'm using it less than I thought. I'll play it for about 5 minutes, think; "That's nice" and then go back to Twilight Princess HD or something....

I just.... I mean.... Sigh

@Hillgirl1986 Absolutely agree. No matter how many hours i've spent playing Bloodborne or TITANFALL could quite easily live without my other consoles. My Wii U I really couldn't. Always most happy when using it over anything else.

@bluedogrulez It is!! As a massive lover of Super Mario World I personally feel NSMBU is the second best 2D Mario game ever. Absolutely love it. Such an awesome game.

Pre ordered mine months ago from the Nintendo store. Sitting under the tree in the hope as an adult can replicate that vibe you got back in the day at Christmas.... 😊

It's nice to see people like me were so fascinated by the N64 back then. It still to this day seems more next gen than anything I've experienced since. Seeing Blast Corps and Mario 64 back then and Metal Mario was an absolute revelation and nothing for me personally since has come close.

That honestly suits me absolutely fine. One of the things I truly hated about the Vita was games like Uncharted that shoehorned in touch controls for fighting and stuff.... Really broke the fun for me.

Obviously the Virtual Boy one is the best....

So... Is this gonna be on UK Amazon or Nintendo store then? Will look wonderful next to my VB case!! 😊

@TruenoGT Totally agree about VB Warioland, such an awesome game. It somehow really suited the black and red also? I also like the fact that fast forward to about 2004 and Paper Mario TTYD kind of borrowed the leaping into the background idea! 😊

@RoomB31 Yes indeed. I shall forever bang on about the brilliance of other M. Yes the "thumbs down" and various other cut scenes are beyond lame, but the atmosphere, exploration, sense of completion and reveals made it incredible.

There should absolutely be an Animal Crossing TV series in which you play as a villager dealing with daily life in AC land.... You all know how amazing this would be! 😂😂😂😉

Fair play. I'm happy to see them pursue any other financial avenue as long as they absolutely continue to make their own hardware and triple A titles. Their hardware is absolutely essential as far as I'm concerned.

@Quorthon See; that's how I want to feel about it. Looks amazing and am sure would love playing it, but I really suck at these type of modern old school shooters. Like when I bought Ikaruga all those years ago on Gamecube.... Never saw past the 4th level.

Meh.... Who honestly buys games in super markets these days? I was in our local Tesco the other day and thought I'd see if any bargains.... No Wii U software and the likes of Call of Duty Ghosts on PS4 for £45.00!? No thanks! Regardless of what game I'm buying and for which system I own, would never buy games in a supermarket. Even the experience seems off some how?!

I love my Zelda series and old school SNES era RPG's.... Would I like this? Looks incredible! Is it fairly complicated and hard to get into?

I absolutely would not be happy about Nintendo releasing games on smart phones. I honestly feel that would mark the beginning of the end for Nintendo specific hardware and as such a decline in overall quality. I really hope they stick by their guns on this. The speculators just don't get it; Nintendo hardware is just as important to the creation of first party software than anything else.
