Beedle was one of the more memorable additions to recent Zelda games, showing up in all the Toon Link games, along with Skyward Sword. The quirky merchant is always on the move, be it by boat or hot air balloon, and becomes a familiar face in your travels through the overworld. Sure, his prices can be outrageous at times, but at least there's loyalty program benefits if you keep coming back to stock up on supplies.
Nintendo has been posting screenshots of Breath of the Wild over the past few months in the lead up to release, and the latest screenshot seems to show that the lovable salesman will be opening up shop yet again in the new game. As you can see in the screenshot above, Link is chilling outside a decidedly equestrian hut, while a suspiciously similar character approaches from the left with a beetle-shaped backpack. It wouldn't be entirely surprising if Beedle made a return appearance, but we can't help but wonder what kind of vehicle he'll utilize this time around.

I hope that giant horse head like structure is a hot air balloon and that's how he gets around, the entire hut is a hot air balloon gondola.
I think this 1 pic is the best news I've seen out of Nintendo or on this website in about a month. Hopefully the beginning of good times ahead.

The horses are different colors. Maybe the colors mean they have different abilities like yoshi's.
I spent a very long time buying lots of items in Wind Waker just to get the Silver and Gold memberships at his shop. It was completely worth it
I wonder what sort of crazy vehicle Beedle will kick Link out of this time? XD I'm not overly fond of the character (His "Oooooh!" annoys me), but it'll still be nice to see a familiar face.

I would love a mechanic in the game that makes you choose what kind of profession you have, and that you can have a steady income of rupees outside of adventuring. Like, you want to be a hunter, so you go hunting on animals and bring their flesh to a butcher. Or you want to be a merchant, so your whole life is a big trading quest. Things like that.
Well, maybe it wont be that fun. But it's an idea!
I am so looking forward to playing this game! It looks gorgeous!
