Re: Talking Point: It's Time to Salute The Nintendo 3DS, Defying Early Gloom to Pass 50 Million Sales

If I could only choose one piece of hardware it would be my 3DS. It simply ticks every single box on my list of what I consider a must for me as a very long time gamer. There are still games I haven't gotten around to playing! As for smart phone gaming, I have dabbled but it is mostly a very shallow, downright dull experience. And I hate with a passion touch screen controls.... No nope. No thanks to all the pointless bickering online you hear about people saying Nintendo should make smart phone games. That argument in itself validates why Nintendo making it's own hardware is so important. Cannot wait for my New 3DS!

@Quorthon Ha! Very probably.... I had my PS4 since last March and my XO since May. Really I just got sick of the same old experiences, TLOU remastered was lovely, but I soon realised I'd played it to death before.... XO was great for Titanfall but as a huge Halo fan the MCC really annoyed me in it's brokenness. And Halo 4's frame rate was dreadful. My Wii U on the other hand has never disappointed me really. But yeah; no doubt E3 will roll around in May and I'll end up with either again!

Well! All I can say as somebody who has now sold his PS4 and XO (I do miss Titanfall however) due to continued disappointing gaming moments and unforgivable issues.... well done Nintendo! Honestly I'm no fan boy, but nothing on PS4 or XO gave me the joy that simply firing up MK8 does. They aren't missed. 😉

Re: Video: 90's Arcade Racer Is Still Alive, And Here's Some Footage To Prove It

@Quorthon Mate so true; EA have absolutely destroyed Criterion, isn't Ghost games nearly all of Criterion except Alex Ward?! Criterion are an amazing dev-co but whatever that was they unveiled last e3 smacked of a company that have been completely put on the back foot. It really says alot that I vastly prefer firing up BP, Rivals or NFS U over my PS4 Rivals. Just doesn't have that Criterion magic?

@Quorthon Ghost Games now create Need for speed titles (Criterion helped out with Rivals) which explains why Rivals although good feels a tad lifeless compared to Most Wanted. It saddens me greatly we shall probably never see another Buronout Paradise. That game is an absolute masterpiece. 😢 This looks awesome however! Love my 90's arcade racers.

Nice info! I'd also like to know how comfortable the standard one is in comparison to the original; I found the original very jagged and painful to hold, but do prefer it's smaller size. Any ideas anyone?

Edit: having just watched all the way through uninterrupted, mentioned comfort so all good. 😂😉
