All I can say is ...who ever makes the final decision on what VC game comes to Wii U must be totally out of touch ..
I think they are having a hard time juggling the two 3DS & Wii U ... the 3ds wins hands down ..

I bought the Wii U for one game MK8 , apart from that I won't use it much , there is no joy in downloading and playing Nes or Snes games , its money for old rope , the VC is pathetic really , after all this is Nintendo we are talking about here who are sitting on a massive library of games ... but No we get Snes or Nes ...its like the Nintendo Parody Nintendogs Benny ..goes , you will Buy It and like it !!
I'm sorry to say , unless Nintendo start adding some worth while games to the VC ( N64 - Game Cube )they won't be getting my money ... I'll just sit it out and wait for Mk8 in 3 months time ...
And you know what the sad thing about that is , the game is probably already completed , but due to marketing strats they are probably holding it back to give tropical freeze a chance ...

@Lebon14 it is possible , I play the wii through my wii u console , I don't mean the wii console if thats what you think I meant , we can now play wii games on the tv and game pad , but we can't use the control buttons

Nintendo please can we have an update that allows me to use my Wii U Pro controller with Wii games:D

The rating system is ridiculous , so much red tape ,the simple solution should be , Family or Adult written on the box art .

why don't Nintendo revamp the wii U and bring out a much more powerful edition twith 500GB of storage to match the ps4 and call it a Wii U Ultimate edition or something .., this would win over ps& xbox fanboi

I can to a point understand why third party developers avoid the wii u ,there just isn't the demand , I personally bought the wii u for wii u games ,exclusive to nintendo .

I have cod ghost and I have never seen more than two thousand players on line at anyone time ,it was the same with Black ops 2 wii u , and one of the main reasons why treyarch didn't give us the DLC maps ,there simply isn't demand .

May the what ? , I just read the briefing , and May is unconfirmed , there is no concrete date officially !!

Why not make a wii u with more storage ,250G or 500G wii u , for example , its not radical changes that are needed , just a bit of tweeking maybe .

Pikmins & Wonderful 101 we're marketed at the wrong time , games like Smash brothers , Mario kart , Zelda , F-zero , DK , Metriod ,Bayonetta 2 ,should have been high priority for Nintendo , knowing full well a new console was on the drawing board , instead they left it late developed the console and released it to a mass market of fans who had no desire to play Pikmin or wonderful 101 which in my opinion should have been non priority games for Nintendo , they are Foreign to most Nintendo fans hence why such low sales figures for these games .. but still we have been promised 2014 is going to be the year.

Its another 2D title , well 2D is fun, but don't you think we have enough already

I know so many people who them self's who know people that are waiting for MK8 before they will buy a Wii U , this game will spark massive interest , Mkwii sold 35Million + on the wii it has a massive fan base , Now all Nintendo is gotta do is give us a release date NOW and let news spread like Wild fire

The bottom line is , someone somewhere within the Nintendo Organization has the final say on what comes to eshop , that Person seriously has underestimated what is required , it just sucks , there's no other way to describe it , its a poor show and the eshop sucks ..

Disaster , I just don't get it , WTF do they think our tiny little brains can't cope with more than one download per week .

Looking back at 2013 there was a Direct in every month , so judging by last years record , we should be getting a New Direct any day soon , January 2013 the Direct was on the 23rd .
