@readyletsgo I disagree , I know so many people from other forums that have held back from buying a WiiU simply because a certain game has not been released yet , Mario Kart wii sold over 35 million copies , it has a huge fan base ww and same for Smash brothers , and zelda, Mk8 has been in development for 2 years , and was originally scheduled for a Christmas 2013 release , but it was put back to spring, was it a marketing ploy or attempt to brush up and finalize the game , which is probably nearer the truth , either way if its finished which I expect it most likely is , then give us a release date and get fans excited , because this game will sell poopoodoodoocacapoopledoople loads Please watch the profanity — TBD
I don't think the price of the console makes any difference to most gamers , it's the games that count , one of the reasons why the Wii u has struggled , the system its self is a very good one , but the fundamental flaw was the games Nintendo were pushing the sell the console with , games like Pikimin 3 , good games but not console sellers , If on the other hand Nintendo had Mario Kart 8 , Smash Brothers Brawl U , Zelda U , Mario 3D world ready at the launch of the system , they wouldn't be in the predicament they are in now , and fans wouldn't have given a sound thought to paying out top Dollar for a Wii U , dropping the price will not help sells in my opinion , Having great games will
One VC game a week is not good enough , they really haven't a clue anymore , I've always bought Nintendo they have always provided a good service and good games to boot , the real problem with the Wii U & VC as a whole is they released the system a year to early with no real big hitting titles fans are familiar with , for instance Mkwii sold I think in the region of 35Million copies ww , it has a huge fan base , and yet the game MK8 only went into production Dev the same year the console was released , when in theory that big hitter of a title should have been a launch title along with Mario 3D world , Nintendo would have swept the board , and probably would have sold millions of more consoles , another thing when is Mk8 out ? still nothing, why so secretive it just defies logic to keep an army of fans in the dark all the time , and as for the VC well that is just a joke , money for old rope
There seems to be this endless stream of 2D games being pumped into the Wii U system , and please no more Mega man , try to think out of the Box Nintendo , bring us some 64 games & Game Cube games ..
@Shambo , I have sonic all star racing transformed , and it is nothing like Mario kart in my opinion , for a start SART is much faster than MK , but still a fun game never the less , but Mario Kart is pinnacle game in Kart Racing , and I advise you to go out and buy Mk8 you wont be disappointed I'm sure .
@XFsWorld F1 Race stars has already been on the Xbox & Ps3 for a year , I'm not sure if it has online though , but yea we got the powered up edition with all the DLC for free + 4 extra tracks , my opinion is , if this were to have online multiplayer this game would undoubtedly sell well
I was going to buy this game until I found out it had no online , which I feel is the most important aspect of any racing Kart game .. big mistake to leave it out , shame really because it looks visually impressive
