I'd kill for another good F-Zero game.
The only complaints I had were the terrible soundtrack and the cheesy story (and the attack button mapping was better on the 64 X), but the track design was awesome, the graphics were incredible, and the game was stupidly fun

This is really disappointing. It had better be an impressive shop with a good selection of games. And passable friend interaction. And a good browser. I was patient enough when they announced (a little late) that it wouldn't be day one, but now I'm feeling like I got screwed by getting their system at launch.

Man, I wouldn't even care about the flashcart blocks if it weren't for the fact that it doesn't seem to do a lot else. I'm really hoping it's for the 3DS transfer tool, but until we get that confirmed, I'll just be protesting the update on principle
I know it probably won't hurt my system, but all those stupid black screens people have been getting on the 3DS make me nervous. Grr, the curses of update-able firmware

Wasn't the last "behind the scenes update" just a flashcart blocker? That always pisses me off. Having been a Vista owner, I know that updating can be dangerous for you and your work and anyone around you when your system stops working. Then they update for something that doesn't benefit me in any way. Lame.
Anyways, yeah, this had better be the system transfer update

Ok, after we clear all the talk of innovation and new series I just want to say that I want Madworld 2 and Infinite Space 2. Preferrably both for the 3DS

Yeah, except for the occasional crapfest that's less than the sum of its parts. Assassin's Creed caught me with that one. Freeroaming? Check. Stealth? Check. Good controls? Check. Graphics? Never a selling point for me, but check. Gameplay? Slow, boring and repetitive. I essentially did everything there was to do by the end of the first mission. Lame. Feels like they dragged the game out more by making Altair climb at a snail's pace than by adding fun and interesting content.
This is why we have demos. I would have known after a half hour if it was a must-have or must-avoid.
Anyways, I've bought lots of games based on demos alone. Crysis 1 and 2 come to mind right off, and several other full-priced retail games, or Pokemon Rumble, Beat Hazard, and several smaller games. I don't know how much effort it takes to actually make a demo, but there have to be more people out there like me that like to know their money is going somewhere good.

We'd better get both demos and text chat. If not voice/video chat. I'm not one to throw away money on a game I don't know I'll like. Games are expensive and I don't have as much time to play as I used to, so I want all the bang for my buck that I can get

Yeah, the 3D galsses thing was funny, but I don't know. It'd have to be pretty damn good to keep me from getting Mario Kart instead. Especially since you can get more players going on Mario Kart

Agreed with post #1. Once I can play my 15-20 DSiWare titles on my 3DS, I'll think about buying new stuff. I didn't get as much play as I could have out of many titles just because it was such a pain to transfer them out and back again on my DSi
Once I'm satisfied with money already spent, I'll spend some more

Man, a giant, poorly-antialiased version of myself hanging out in urban Japan would be awesome. Might have to do something fun like that here in the great white north

How come all the Euro news is just based in the UK? I have no idea how it's going in Norway here, so I tried asking the place I had preordered if they could guarantee that they would have enough stock to get me one on launch day. Whoever replied was apparently illiterate and said something along the lines of: "WII HAVINT SENT URS YET BKOZ THE RELEASE DATE IZ THA 25TH YOU MORON UR NOT GITTIN IT B4 THAT!!1!"

One of my favorite games ever. I actually bought a PAL copy when I moved from NA to Norway, along with Perfect Dark and a few others. Two Rareware titles out of 5 retro purchases says something

I'd love it if Rare came back. Not just for Perfect Dark, but I've been hoping for a (good) followup to Conker's and Jet Force Gemini. Hell, even another Battletoads or 3D Donkey Kong would be awesome ;P
