Update (Thu 20th Feb, 2020 17:30 GMT): As a reminder, both Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Puyo Puyo 2 have launched on Nintendo Switch today. Sega has shared a brand new trailer to celebrate, and we thought it'd be rude not to share it with you lovely lot. Enjoy!
Original Article (Fri 7th Feb, 2020 10:45 GMT): Nintendo Switch's Sega Ages range is about to have one of its finest days so far with both Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Puyo Puyo 2 set to launch simultaneously. You'll be able to play both of these games on Nintendo's platform starting 20th February.
The Switch version of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 will feature the return of its competitive two-player mode, newly-added features like Sonic Mania's 'drop dash' (where you spin dash in mid-air to quickly gain speed) and Super Sonic Mode, as well as Time Trials, online rankings, and even Knuckles the Echidna.
Puyo Puyo 2 is also being treated to some welcome additions such as a full English localisation, two-player online battles, online rankings, a quick rewind function, and a colourblind mode. Here are official descriptions of both titles:
About Sonic The Hedgehog 2
Hailed as one of the most successful games for the Genesis (Mega Drive), Sonic The Hedgehog 2 garnered critical acclaim swiftly after its 1992 release. Follow Sonic and Tails (in his series debut!) as they team up against the nefarious Dr. Eggman in order to save the Chaos Emeralds from the clutches of evil.
About Puyo Puyo 2
Puyo Puyo 2 (also known as Puyo Puyo Tsu) is considered one of the biggest arcade games of all time in Japan. This sequel introduced an improved ruleset along with the ability to offset Garbage Puyo sent by your opponent by creating Puyo chains of your own. Swap between Single Puyo Puyo, Double Puyo Puyo, and Endless Puyo Puyo game modes for even more Puyo fun in this classic puzzle experience.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Puyo Puyo 2 will be available to download individually from 20th February for $7.99 a pop.
Excited for these new additions to the Sega Ages lineup? Let us know if you'll be buying either (or both!) of these with a comment below.

Oh joy more rehashes more Sanic and Sega stil wondering why these things sell badly.
Cause Daytona USA
Sega Rally
Virtua Fighter 1 2 3
Burning Rangers
and countless others are forbidden fruits sealed in a vault or something .
At least i got the Panzer Dragoon remakes to look forward too.
I'll definitely be picking these up, so is that basically the Knuckles feature from the Sonic and Knuckles cartridge?
@KitsuneNight I'm very excited for the Panzer Dragoon remake
Hopefully by the end of the year they release the sonic adventure games on the switch, that would be a dream come true
@Clintos
What you did there I see it !
Don't hold your breath though Sega seems to have an aversion to re releasing anything 3D these days.
Thanks to the horrible lag/input delay on the Switch version of the Genesis collection, I'll get to buy this classic a 2nd time on this system
LOL more old stuff. Sonic 2 is great and all but who doesn't already own or has played that game?
I don't know why everyone gets all hopped up on sonic 2 anyway when sonic 3 with knuckles is the superior game. I'll wait for that.
Nice, now bring 3 & Knuckles with whatever soundtrack (Windows or Mega Drive).
Always good to see new Ages games but I think what we all really want to see is Sega bringing more Arcade and lesser known titles to the eshop. Virtua Racing was a great start fingers crossed for Sega Rally and Daytona next.
Sonic 2 again and still no Sonic 3+K......
Cant wait to do the ring challenge for this! After being no 1 for over a year on the first one I need a new challenge!!
@KitsuneNight It's more certain platforms getting rehashed repeatedly meanwhile other platforms mostly get ignored. For SEGA, Mega Drive is rehashed while Saturn and Dreamcast are ignored. For Nintendo, NES and SNES are rehashed while N64 and GC are ignored (less so N64).
Sonic 3 and Knuckles please!
I really should show my support for these AGES releases because there are a few I want.
Sadly, Dragon Quest XI and Daemon X Machina are still in my Switch backlog - both of which have taken a back seat to me getting through Death Stranding and Shenmue III on PS4 before the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake.
When you only get like 30 - 45 minutes per day of gaming, long games take FOREVER!
SEGA AGES should focus on games that have not been rereleased like a hundred times. What about some Saturn or Dreamcast classics?
Was there seriously a single person out there saying "Of all the amazing arcade and console games Sega have released over the years, I would most like M2 to use their talents to add another Puyo Puyo game to the Sega Ages line"?
We already had Puyo Puyo Tetris, we barely needed one Puyo Puyo game in the Ages line!
@GamingFan4Lyf I have exactly the same problem! I keep starting long games and then never finding the time to finish them. I try and convince myself to concentrate on one game and get all the way through it before moving on, but then I get distracted by something new and shiny. Digital sales and Xbox Game Pass are terrible for that!
Both in my list, but considering these games go on sale very often, I'll wait as I started doing after I saw I purchased them right away and then went on sale, so I don't want to feel stupid anymore.
@GamingFan4Lyf You're right, I have the same problem. I luckily (for a gamer) spend about 1 hour and 15 minutes in a bus every working day, so I can play about 6 hours per week on my Switch or any other portable system, but anyway those games take forever. For instance, I spent 6 months in 2019 with Dragon Quest IX on the Nintendo DS. Now I want to start DQXI, but first I wanted to play other games, shorter and even arcade games, because I don't want to fill one year with 2-3 games tops.
@Gwynbleidd I loved the Golden Axe arcade titles, it's ridiculous they've not ported either of them to the AGES line
@Grumblevolcano
Yeah it's bloody annoying
And incomprehensible as well, considering Sega has released the ultimate Megadrive collection on the NX already.
A good chunk of their rehashes are already on there.
They really should branch out to the model 1 and 2 arcade games the Saturn library, and the Dreamcast library.
I'm so sick of the Megadrive.
@Moroboshi876 @BionicDodo Thankfully, I am a Main Quest only person, so my time with long games is shortened, but even still, a 40 hour game turns into MONTHS for me.
I am disciplined in focusing on one game at a time, though (for about 95% of the time). Death Stranding is my primary focus. I also have Man of Medan in my list, but I could seriously bang that game out on a rare day where I get a few hours to myself.
I do switch (no pun intended) over to Dragon Quest XI from time to time to change things up if I feel I am getting too overloaded with playing Delivery Boy in Death Stranding.
And yes, Game Pass is the devil - especially Game Pass Ultimate where PC games also get in the way! LOL.
Being a multi-platform gamer is a blessing and a curse!
Even still, I think I might pick up Sonic 2 as a distraction game. I really enjoyed it more than the original Sonic game. Plus, I am happy that M2 added the Knuckles ability - that was such a fun addition, even if it kind of breaks the game a little.
Oh come on! how many more times are they going to release these games. At least do some more obscure ones that people have not played a thousand time on other platforms.
@sleepinglion I agree.
Sega Ages on the Switch in portable mode, it's almost like the original experience : I don't feel the lag.
But I do in docked mode.
But the Sega compilation was way more awful when it comes to input lag.
@smashboy2000 I wish I'd known. Nintendo Life didn't mention it in their review of the compilation. I never would have purchased it had I known
Sega's back catalogue is deeper and richer than most, and yet they continue to return to the same tiny well over and over and over.
Hey Sega, you know that incredible sequel you made to Golden Axe many years back? Revenge of Death Adder was its name. RELEASE THAT ONE.
Then you can do SCUD Race, Planet Harriers, Daytona USA 2, Sega Rally 1 & 2, Super Monaco GP, Power Drift, Galaxy Force 2, Thunderblade, OutRunners, Burning Rival, SDI, Moonwalker, Stike Fighter, Sonic Boom, and DD Rival.
@sleepinglion The decades long lack of a Revenge of Death Adder port is one of the great mysteries of gaming. Sega own the IP. It's a sequel to a popular franchise. And the game is amazing. It's beyond no brainer territory.
I don't see any Saturn ports ever happening.
Didn't Sega lose the source code to every single Saturn game they made?
I mean maybe they'd be able to re-port some of the old PS2 ports, but other than that...
Ok DEFINITELY buying Sonic 2. I’m so glad they added in Knuckles!
@Zeldafan79 YES, YES AND YES. Sonic 3+K is by far superior and without a doubt my favorite sonic game(s). I don’t know how they’re gonna get it released but please do it (finally!)
We get 2 games, Sonic 2 and Puyu Puyo 2, on 20.02.2020. Nice.
Two thumbs up.
@AllieKitsune
I don't care to be honest.
I just want SOMETHING that is NOT the bloody Megadrive.
I don’t mind having Sonic 2 available but too much Puyo Puyo now as we now have 3 Switch entries! Maybe if Sega starts to diversify the Ages lineup a bit, they won’t be scratching their heads over mediocre sales?? Where is G-Loc?? How about:
Sega Rally
Daytona USA
Virtua Tennis
Teddy Boy
Scud Racer
Revenge of Death Adder
Zaxxon
Carnival
Subroc 3D
Virtua Cop 1&2
House of the Dead series
Astal
Nights into Dreams
Jet Set Radio
Afterburner
Outrunners
Turbo Outrun
Outrun 2019
Gun Blade
LA machine Guns
Burning Rangers
Zombie Revenge
Sonic Adventure 1&2
Sonic Colors
Toy Commander
Crazy Taxi 1&2
CMON SEGA SHAKE IT UP!!! 🤷♂️🤦♂️
I wonder if Sanic 2 is Sega's big game to coincide with that execrable movie.
I'm buying both! Even though I own like 15 versions of both already.
The other day I got myself the WonderSwan version of Puyo Puyo 2. It's surprisingly not terrible, unlike the Neo Geo Pocket Color version, which is okay but not fantastic.
I’m just glad Sega keeps releasing games in the AGES line.
@KitsuneNight To be fair, Dayonta USA and Virtua Fighter 2 were released on PS3 and Xbox 360 and are both currently available for Xbox One. I'd love them on Switch, but they haven't been completely ignored like many other Sega games.
@BionicDodo
Yeah but that's stil 8 years ago
And in that case it should be somewhat trivial to port them.
Something that is NOT the Megadrive.
Maybe Puyo Puyo 2, but I’ve played Sonic 2 to death. At this point, I won’t get any Sega Ages game that’s on the Sega Genesis Collection or Mini.
@Juga that’s interesting- but I’m not a PC gamer so I wouldn’t know. 🙂 yea I’ll take Congo Bongo too! I have an Atari 5200 copy.
@KitsuneNight Oh I agree completely. Daytona and VF2 seem like easy wins for them. Who knows, maybe some of the other 3D games are being worked on in the background, they clearly require a lot more effort than Sonic 2 and Puyo Puyo, so would take longer. This being Sega though... probably not.
@BionicDodo yea If they can give us Virtua Racing then Daytona and VF2 shouldn’t be a problem IMO
Definitely one of my favorite childhood games in Sonic 2. I'd pick this up on launch day, but I'll be busy with DMC3. I'll wait for a sale, I guess.
Personally, I'd like to see Super GT (aka Scud Race), but I'm sure they don't want to have to pay for all that brand licensing for the liveries and such all over again.
@AllieKitsune
I'd like to see Outrunners, and Model 2 games.
@BionicDodo
Yeah. most likley not
I'd also love to see Sega rally 1 and 2.
I keep a Dreamcast and Saturn around for a reason.
@KitsuneNight Yep, same here. I have a cabinet with Master System, Mega Drive, Saturn and Dreamcast in it.
Power drift anyone ? Nah give em sonic 2 ( admittedly a classic game) again and again and again. I want alien storm coin op! X x x x x x x x
Yeah why give us Sega Saturn or Sega Dreamcast games when we can have more Puyo Puyo, I mean it's not like we already got hundreds of them already on Switch right?
I have been HIGHLY anticipating the Sega Ages version of Sonic 2. I'll be buying this the second it's available.
Sonic 2 is by far my favorite Sonic game and one of my favorite games ever.
@BionicDodo
Its utterly incomprehensible Sega refuses to move beyond the Megadrive
And wont put out collections of later games.
@sketchturner
Well at least somebody is thrilled with it
It would just be more interesting if it wast a game that's been re re re re re re re re re re re re released to death over the past 20 years.
Stil I hope you enjoy the game.
Nice, I've been looking forward to playing this version of Sonic 2!
@retro_player_22 Dreamcast MIGHT happen someday (and even then, it'll probably only be Sonic Adventure and Space Channel 5 2 again), but I don't think Saturn ever will.
I am surprised we are getting Sonic 2 this month, as Japan haven’t had it yet. We are normally 1 - 2 months behind.
@KitsuneNight
I don't really understand people saying it's been released so much. It came out on Wii, which is not an HD system. It's been included in some collections that are flawed. Plus, the only game in those collections that I want is Sonic 2. I don't want a collection just for one game.
There's the phone release, but who wants to play on a phone?
So at least for what I'm looking for (an HD, non- collection, TV version), this is the first one to my knowledge.
@MaxlRoseGNR This is a pretty big let down, it's took them nearly 2 years just to release Sonic 2 again only now with the Drop Dash..
yet in 2018 M2 was making a big deal about putting some real effort into this https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/11/sega_ages_sonic_the_hedgehog_2_might_be_the_best_version_weve_ever_had restoring beta features or ideas Sonic Team couldn't add at the time, M2 have remade old SEGA games before and made them better then ever like with Virtua Racing... yet with Sonic 2 this is pretty lazy, they could of at least include a beta version to play with like Disney did with Aladdin * or the Mega Play arcade version *even Sega Ages Sonic 1 had that I won't be getting this
@ramu-chan Agreed, man! Arcade1UP is making a cab out of it. Maybe Sega'll realize if it's popular enough for a $300 recreation, we might buy an affordable version for the AGES line
I love Puyo Puyo, but with Puyo Puyo Tetris and Super Puyo Puyo 2 on NSO, I can hold off on this version.
We need to hope that debugmode is added to be sure and make tails fly in the second..
@sketchturner
It was released much more often then that.
From the top of my head:
Sega Saturn ( Sonic jam )
PS2 ( Mega Collection, also on the xbox pc and cube )
PC. ( Sega smash pack v3)
PS2 again. (The Sega Megadrive Collection.)
PSP (Sega Megadrive Collection )
Xbox 360, ps3 ( The sega Vintage Collection online only)
Ps3 and Bbox 360. (The Ultimate Collection.")
PC ( the megadrive classics released in "packs")
PC 50 (game one on all platforms mac os, linux, ps4 xbox one NX )
The Wii. (virtual console)
The phone ports.
DS ( Sonic Classics Collection.)
Phones again ( Sega forever. )
That's at least 12 ports over 14 platforms.
Sonic 2 on it's own, is also available on the xbox 360, the pc and the ps3.
Ummm... you just proved my point. Non-HD versions or collections. If 360, PC, and PS3 have it standalone, great. But I don't game on any of those.
@sketchturner
They are stil there though
But my point was that Sonic 2 has been re released A LOT.
And most people are sanicfatigued.
Me included.
@carlos82
Excited is a big word.
But I am cautiously optimistic.
So Sonic has the dropdash, knuckles is in the game and tails can’t fly...
@carlos82
Yes
I'll echo the thoughts of a lot of people. Can we get some games that haven't been released a billion times. It feels like this is the third or fourth puyopuyo game on switch. There are so many great games that aren't playable on current hardware. 4 puyo puyo games but no crazy taxi, that seems odd to me.
Every year I google Power Stone at least once in the hopes that we'll get a port.
I take it this isn’t the Chris Whitehead version of Sonic 2. 😢
@sleepinglion What really gets me is they’ve had all this time to fix it, and they haven’t. I even emailed Sega last year, complaining. The reply was very automated and impersonal. I tried to introduce my fiancé to classic Sonic, as she never played it. She had a terrible time on the Genesis Collection, and I had a terrible time watching. Switched over to Sonic Mania... night and day difference. We had a blast. It wasn’t all in my head. Haven’t touched the Collection since.
Well, I recently bought Sonic 2 two times: Sega Genesis Collection (with input lag, which improved after an update but there's still some lag) and the Genesis Mini (no input lag, but some sound lag). Maybe now they're trying to sell us the best port ever of the game (that's what all Sega Ages releases are) after rereleasing it two times in a little over a year. And the worst part is that maybe I'll buy it
@VR32X I feel your pain, amigo. I wrote in as well. At least you got a reply... but it hurt my impression of Sega's quality control, specially in terms of titles involving their flagship character. Input lag on Sonic titles is something homebrew emulators haven't had an issue with in decades. Kind of sad that an official compilation can't handle it. They really just need to let M2 handle all of their emulation needs for all titles. Even Sonic on mobile never had any lag
Not to be a pessimist, but I don’t think Sonic 2 is releasing this month, Puyo Puyo 2 has appeared on the eShop, but Sonic 2 hasn’t.
‘Surely’ they would have appeared together ?
@Wargoose
Power stone is Capcom though.
And unless its Street Fighter or Resident Evil , Capcom doesn't seem keen on re releasing or remaking anything.
@Gerald
Oh dear, what a shame.
We might miss out on the billionth re release of Sonic 2.
@KitsuneNight I know, it’s tragic
@KitsuneNight wasn’t Panzer Dragoon supposed to launch late last year? It seems to have vanished without trace.
@Wargoose You can always play the PSP port on the PS Vita while you wait. I agree it would be great to have on the switch though.
@Taikuaile
It's supposed to launch this year, between now and late March,
or so I am told.
Knowing Sega, it's going to be postponed to 2022
Probably for even more Sanic.
@Gerald
Totally.
Many tears wil be shed.
I already have both of these games on the 3DS, so I obviously will not spend money on them again.
Sega is and always has been run by incompetent people. The company has excellent games that were only released on unpopular consoles, which means that almost nobody played those games. They could make huge money by releasing such games on the Switch, but instead they release games that everyone already has and then complain that they aren't making much money.
If they had any brains at all, they would release the best Arcade, Saturn and Dreamcast exclusives on the Nintendo Switch.
@ramu-chan
I don't understand why everyone says they like "Golden Axe Revenge Of Death Adder". Have you guys actually played it? Collectors on Youtube always say they want to see a console release, but they never make a good case for the game being good, probably because they haven't played it but just want to add it to their collection. Don't listen to those cartridge fetishists. I have actually played it and can say that it is garbage. It plays badly, looks awful, and adds screen crunch which makes it play and look even worse than it would otherwise. An absolute mess of a game. Thankfully, Sega realized this and didn't steal kids' money a second time by re-releasing it.
@TheWingedAvenger What an odd thing to say. Yes I've played it, it's been on MAME for years. The game is superb, one of the best belt scrollers ever made. That's why everyone wants it. Or did you think they were just asking for it for laughs?
@ramu-chan
As I said in my first message, I believe most of the people who want the ugly, unplayable "Golden Axe Revenge" to be released on the Switch are collectors who are looking for yet another videogame to add to their collection. North America is full of addicts who just can't stop collecting, and I thought you might be one of them. I guess I was wrong on that.
Ugh, another Sonic rehash that's been done ad nauseam on countless platforms and collections. I'm seriously beginning to wonder if Sega is just messing with Switch owners at this point. They know full well (if they actually read the requests people send in via the online forms included with every Sega Ages game) that gamers want a plethora of beloved classics from their immense back catalog of Saturn, Dreamcast, and Arcade titles. If support (in terms of customer purchases) makes the difference in whether Sega/M2 continues this series or not, then it almost feels as if they actually WANT it to fail. It's so frustrating as a consumer when your voice and those of so many others makes seemingly no difference.
@BionicDodo Yes.
Haven't decided yet if i want to grab sonic 2. I've played it to death during my childhood.
Never played a sonic yet I'm on the way to the theater. I'll decide after if I want to buy this
Picked up Sonic 2 despite playing it a ridiculous amount of times since its initial launch and this is the best version I've played. Yes it's on plenty of collections but few are perfect and the collection on Switch had horrible input lag. This plays flawlessly, it includes the Sonic and Knuckles functionality, has a very fun 100 ring time challenge and has the best crt filter I've seen in its vintage mode.
Simply put, the best version of one of the very best Sonic games
Just a heads up if you’re considering Sonic 2. I was watching GameXplain’s video playthrough of it and there were a few moments of noticeable slowdown. It wasn’t the recording as they mentioned it at the time. To be fair it might have only happened 3 or 4 times over the whole hour of play but if that’s something that bothers you it’s worth looking into.
Edit: Comment above suggesting otherwise. Maybe I’m wrong! Even if it’s only £6 I’m waiting until after payday as I’m completely broke so can’t verify.
@AtlanteanMan
Exactly couldn't agree more.
But sanic is the easy choice cause its been ported so often already, so another port is easy and sanic is a known quantity.
( Not at all to do with the fact, that Sega ignores
most of their IP's )
@carlos82
Mleh I am honestly so sick of Sanic and the constant rehashes.
I already have this game four times, I don't need it a fifth time.
...No I have it 6 times.
android
steam
megadrive
ps3
psp
and saturn
I'll play it on the bloody Saturn.
@MaxlRoseGNR well said
Nah, as far as I love M2 work, I'm sticking to my 3DS version of Sonic 2. The 3D effect was beautifull, and the game still rocked.
But being in a Sonic mood right now (thanks, Sonic the movie), I've juste ordered Sonic Mania in physical. It's gonna be so cool to play this awesome game on the go.
Oh, and yeah : Saturn ports, please, now M2 !
@KitsuneNight haha I've still got Sonic Jam, don't get me wrong I'd still much rather have the likes of Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter 2, Panzer Dragoon (though the remake should be here soon), Sonic R (I really liked it) and Shining Force 3 to name a few.
@carlos82
Oh totally. I'd rather have those games too.
And I'm hoping for the Panzer dragoon Remake to hit soon too
And I did like Sonic R too ( mostly the music )
And by all means, if you enjoy Sonic 2 dont let me or anybody else's stop you
But I am burned out on the 16 bit games.
People are complaining, but the reality is this game will sell like crazy. Much more than something like Jet Set Radio. Are you really going to be upset that a for-profit company wants to make decisions that are profitable?
Well as long as we're talking Sonic I'd love to see Sonic CD ported to the Switch, I love replaying that game so much. (It absolutely needs to feature the japanese/pal soundtrack though, because that's a large part of why I like that game as much as I do.)
But there's also stuff like Shining Force 3 which just needs to become more available period and Phantasy Star 2-4 receiving a port with quality of life updates similar to what they did with 1, that was such a superb port.
Been looking forward to this release. Liking all the added features.
Sonic 2 is already on my Switch, I got it the second it was released. I already had the game on my Switch (The Sega Mega Drive collection) but the input lag on those versions is horrendous. I'm so glad to be able to play it on my Switch without having to wait one second for Sonic to respond.
@sleepinglion I literally cannot play the Sega Collection the input lag is so bad.
@Glitchling78 I haven't played through the entire game yet but have reached the Hilltop Zone and had a brief play as Knucles and I can't say I've noticed anything. I did get one instance of slowdown briefly on a 2 player race when losing a lot of rings in Mystic Cave but compared to any other version I've played that's basically nothing. Overall it's been pretty much perfect and the controls are very responsive
Only 3 more releases left, hopefully we will find out soon what the next batch will be
@KitsuneNight By most accounts, the Sonic movie sounds pretty entertaining.
@Antonis427
I'llpick it up as a cheap dvd later this year
Maybe
Probably
( I got a lot of movies and series to watch.)
@carlos82 oh cool, thanks for the update! Maybe it was just their console or that they were recording it messing with things. Sonic 2 is one of my favourites so I’ll get it at some point.
These games are already available on every console. What is the point of these releases, and who is buying them???
Trying to think of any Sega developed Saturn games that hold up with hindsight. Nah, I’m good.
@Deanster101 The worst bit is I've written Sega directly multiple times and they refuse to patch it
Bought Sonic 2 again and not afraid to admit it. I've bought it on multiple consoles close to or maybe more than 10 times over the years. M2 does a great job with emulation and eventhough I would've bought it anyway adding Knuckles into the game is a cool bonus. Genesis is my favorite console of the 2D era and there's still a few games I'd like to see added to this line of releases, particularly the Streets of Rage trilogy and after that, it's the games I think are pipe dreams, Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic CD, Michael Jackson Moonwalker, Revenge of Death Adder, Nights into Dreams, Sonic Adventure and Virtua Fighter 4 Evo (this one I think is almost certainly a no because Sony would want in on it but it doesn't appear Sega has plans to bring Sega Ages to PlayStation).
Still haven't gotten any of the sonic games on switch yet, I reckon Sonic Mania is still best to buy if you only get one sonic game?
@Joriss if you're only going to buy one then definitely go with Mania, you get remixed versions of classic stages and some brand new ones, a good two player mode and a cool little bonus mode to unlock. The plus dlc also adds more remixed stages and new characters, so you really get a lot for your money
Picked this up just because I could really. I remember when this was originally released! Sonic Twosday! See what they did there?
@KitsuneNight You seem upset
Who buys these?? Must have this game on at least half a dozen systems around the house...
@Ardisan
Just annoyed at Sega ignoring an enormous wealth of games in their backlog, for the usual 16 bit and Sanic rehashes.
Cause who wants their 90's arcade games on a home console ?
Nope, we want another sanic port
That's what we are clamoring for.
Sega sort your pricing out. I can probsbly get thr whatever its called mega drive collection for cheaper then these too in fact i did
@Roibeard64
You pay more but you don’t have to navigate that awful virtual bedroom nonsense that serves as a menu. The current Sega Ages menus and options and whatnot are really slick. I think Sonic 1&2 are the only Mega Drive ports that are available on the collection and as.Sega Ages titles. They way play noticeably better. Although, tbh, I don’t like those games much anyway. 😂
@KitsuneNight
What if Sega announces that they’re responding to your demands and then follow through by releasing Sega Ages versions of Bug!, Bug Too! and Fighting-Bronx-Megamix-Virtual-Kid-Pepsiman-Vipers?
