These were exactly the kind of reviews I was expecting, and it doesn't change how excited I am to see the movie. I'm watching it for a fun nostalgia trip, not some super emotional, deep story

@VeganH Switch 1 docked and Switch 2 boost mode look and function the exact same, so it's not really necessary

This is dumb, but as long as players have the option to not use it and it's not intrusive I don't see what's wrong with it being in the game

@Ironcore There are very few games remaining that have compatibility issues(probably less than 1% of the entire Switch library), and the new Handheld Mode Boost feature makes all NS1 games run at a higher resolution, so just objectively I don't see how NS2 plays indies and retro ports worse

@Ironcore The Switch 2 is WAY more powerful than the original. Nvidia(who made a couple of the NS2's chips) estimates it to be around 10x more powerful. I'd link the blog post they wrote about it but I'm not sure if that's allowed

I'm so hyped for this game, and I actually loved TOTK(it's my favorite game of all time, and yes I'm aware that's a hot take) and even thought it was slightly better than BOTW, so if this is Pokémon's TOTK I'll be more than happy. That being said I don't think we're getting any sort of sky islands or areas unfortunately, as that hasn't been mentioned in leaks and there were no real hints of that in the trailer. I do hope I'm wrong though, because that would be sick

I swear, some people just don't like fun. I'm not the biggest fan of Game Key Cards either, but this is honestly the most fun I've had in a game in a while, and I've barely even thought about what kind of cartridge it's on. 10/10 game that so many people won't play because they're stubborn

Most likely no more ports announcements, because I think they would rather spread ports out because if they released a ton all at once, I think most people would pick and choose games, but if they wait I think there's a higher likelihood the average consumer buys ALL of the ports, considering most people wouldn't wanna drop who knows how much money all at once on ports(btw I don't mean to be negative, I'm very excited for the FR/LG ports and have already preordered FR). As for what I think WILL happen, obviously app announcements, and I'm 100% confident we get at least an announcement trailer for Gen 10, and I'd love to see some gameplay along with it, although that seems kinda unlikely. I'd also love to see a remake, I think it's unlikely but if they did do one it would probably be B/W imho
