Perusing the eShop isn’t my idea of a good time. It’s a bit a shame that I need to resort to other external places to wade through all the junk with reasonable efficiency to find something decent. Ah well, just regurgitating the same ole that serves very little besides the superficial gratification that comes from a minor venting session. Cheers, all. Hope you find something!
Was a poor choice on my end to watch the release trailer after playing a weeks worth of Horizon Forbidden West. I realize Pokémon games aren’t known for their visual fidelity, but knowing the potential that exists, I’d love a genuinely beautiful Pokémon game. I’m still looking forward to gen 9 and I’ll certainly get it.
Actually holding off on playing some new games to experience them on a better screen. Tried playing Diablo 2: Resurrected on the old switch and it’s pretty rough looking outside docked mode.
I’ll certainly pass on this one. It’s rather disappointing from my perspective. I have the ACNH Switch and a Switch Lite that satiates any cravings I have for playing those games, which isn’t often these days. Mostly due to the fact that I have both a PS5 and an Xbox Series X, which are also starting to collect a bit dust. What’s more, they’re usually docked and the novelty of playing handheld wore off a couple months after I originally bought the first. The Lite hasn’t seen the light of day outside its case in almost a year now.
Let’s see... $14.99 USD you get armor and “powerful” weapons that’ll be junk sooner than later. Scrolls and building materials are used up like candy in this game. 2,000 gems and 30k gold will net you a whole lot of not much. Gems especially so unless the RNG gods are kind to you. That, of course, is just the beginning.
Yeah, yeah, Nintendo. I realize the challenges of securing all the components throughout the global supply chain, assembling them and delivering a finished product is quite a feat these days, but this might’ve been avoided if they didn’t originally play a supply and demand game.
I couldn’t care less who cheats at games as long as it doesn’t mess with the experience I’m looking to get. Some people just don’t have the patience to wait for things, or they’re genuinely crunched for time and miss a lot of the events and they’d like to experience them. Whatever their reasons, I’m cool with it as long as they stay in their lane away from me.
Personally, I won’t play with someone that time travels or cheats in any other way in this game. I’d rather pay my legit gained bells to attain items, vs someone hand me something I’m in need of for a Nook Miles Ticket, or even free because they duped 50 of them awhile ago, or got it through other cheating means. Trading items and generally playing with other legit players enriches my experience overall. As much as I’ll give the cheaters their space and I’m happy to leave them be, it’s also my prerogative to have nothing to do with them since interacting with them cheapens my overall experience.
Having lived in Japan for over 10 years and went to a university there, I felt this video displayed typical behavior of some young Japanese women. It’s quite innocent and neutral with zero sexual orientation references, in my opinion. Just busy girls missing the connections of friends and finding joy of being able to connect conveniently through a switch game. It was a nice ad!
Considering my first and only experience of the Animal Crossing franchise is Pocket Camp, I’m sure I’ll be amazed. I’m genuinely looking forward to it!
Selfish diehard Pokémon fans that have tunnel vision couldn’t care less how other people feel, what their opinions are, or anything else that contradicts what they want. They’re not getting what they want so they’ll moan until they’re satisfied and are unable to enjoy what’s actually available. Just a segment of vile human nature that’s unavoidable. I just walk around these types of people and ignore them as they’ll never go away. Even if I did have a negative opinion, I wouldn’t give it unsolicited.
I have yet to play any of them, so I’m glad the first one is coming out for the switch! I’ve seen the trailer for the latest one and it doesn’t make any sense. I’m looking forward to remedying that by getting somewhat caught up.

@Gwynbleidd I grew up with these games, too. I’d welcome them.

Re: Get Ready For Hamster Maze, A 'Tamagotchi Infused Hamster Racing Game'
Hamsters suck. Someone needs to make an open world game about guinea pigs. I want to be able to poop, popcorn and idle anywhere at my leisure.

Missed opportunity to use an image of Tom Nook with his arms crossed with an unapologetic smug look on his face.
