Was so happy to Finally see another course but was disappointed it was all 3 par. It did make me hope they would update the rest of the courses with more ‘expert’ holes though.
I’m really hopeful for a mushroom kingdom level and a rainbow road level. And underground pipes level would be cool as well
I found it fun, I’m a fan of point and clicks but there are so many on the Eshop right now that I sometimes come across ones that feel dated or are unimaginative or simply frustrating with their puzzles. ‘There is no game’ is like a meta point and click with fun puzzles and a hint system for when the game gets too frustrating which certainly stands out. It’s not huge and it certainly peaks in the middle, but I could have happily played a game for double the length and this has made me very excited to see what the creators do in the future. It’s silly, imaginative and doesn’t really have many other games out there to compare it to. It’s like playing through a parody of a Charlie Kaufman film. It has its flaws and some parts weren’t the most fun to play (although with things like the clicker I guess that was the point), and some puzzles required me to take the switch out of the dock and use the touch screen as where definitely impossible using the cursor, but it’s a game I enjoyed and will remember for a while. 8/10
Just played this and thought it was superb. Charming, witty, fun and a much longer game than I expected for the price. One of the most fun indie games I’ve played this year, can’t. Believe how small the team was who made this 10/10
Puzzles where simple, but the graphics where great. Loved the world and didn’t overstay its welcome. An enjoyable game I got on sale. My partner loved it.
Got this on sale based on reviews. I love point and clicks and thought this would be for me as I enjoyed the look of the world. The humour and writing really let this game down though, with it falling flat and feeling dated. This wouldn’t usually bother me so much but the humour is kind of front and centre of the game. Not interested in playing the other three based on this.
This is perhaps insensitive to say in the event this is based on one of the developers actual experiences, but a lot of the ‘emotional’ cutscenes in the game seemed out of place and where at points laughable. The actual core of the game was very sweet and a fun way to spend an afternoon. The sick girl cutscenes seemed shoehorned in though and felt like they undermined the final product. There was enough within the actual game to allude to ideas of sickness and close bonds without putting this across in overt, poorly illustrated cutscenes, especially when the main games art was so nice. This isn’t to say I didn’t enjoy the game, I just found this one element really poorly done and let down the game as a whole.
Expected some dlc or an update, more turns are needed for longer games. More boards would’ve been nice as well. Always enjoy a Mario party but this isn’t the best one by a long shot
I was very happy with Isoland, feeling like it gave a good amount of gameplay, puzzles and character for the price. A fun game with difficult but fair puzzles which often will require you to play with a pen and paper if you aren’t going to cheat with walkthroughs. Occasionally frustrating, and I finished still confused by one puzzle, but a fun game with variety and twists. In comparison with other low-price point and click puzzle game ports from phones and tablets on the eshop (such as bulb boy or stray cat doors), Isoland is one of the best. 8/10.
I bought bulbboy on recommendation and was quickly annoyed. I liked the aesthetic but quickly found myself stumped by a puzzle. A recurrent problem with the more ‘artful’ indie puzzle adventure games. What I could interact with wasn’t obvious or sometimes was unresponsive. It didn’t feel like I had misunderstood the puzzles more that the level design made it look like certain elements wouldn’t be interactive, or that two interactive elements where too close together for the touch screen. It didn’t feel like overcoming a puzzle, moreso poor design. The tone of the game does make up for some of the shortcomings, but bulbboy does lack a lot of fun and innovation that other puzzle solving games have. Whilst animations are rewarding and original, after beating the game I found myself quickly forgetting it. 4/10
Awful electro swing soundtrack that sounds like it was written for uncle adams.
One of the main mechanics is waiting
I only got a couple of playthroughs where I lasted more than half an hour. Each time getting back into it seemed like a chore
An interesting gimmick let down by lack of signposting, and poor aesthetic.
At points glitchy and slow to load. Without an faq you’ll find yourself walk-in around aimlessly a lot looking for doors to listen to at the right time. Not the most fun game mechanic. If the concept strikes you and you enjoy these types of games it may be worth playing with an faq but not a game I’d recommend. 2/10
I didn’t understand the game, to the degree where I am confused that it’s really a game. I hear people enjoy this but surely I’m missing something. One of the most broken games I’ve played but also feels like a non-game in concept. Nothing fun about it 2/10
Got it for cheap, loved it for the price but not really a game changer. A short fun puzzle game, if you enjoy sudoku and simple Number puzzle books you’d probably enjoy this as an alternative for a day ! 6/10
I really rated it, doesn’t change the game whatsoever but I had fun all the way through. Well made, good progression, nice world. Tide you over until the next 2d Rayman (if there ever is one)
Honestly this game is cheap, the best version of the woodcutting game I’ve played (played a lot of broken mini games where slowness with the controls takes so much fun out). This game is responsive, has lots of unlockables, multiplayer, leaderboards, and is a dollar. I can’t really knock it. If you go in expecting more you’re a fool but for a cheap woodcutting Mini game this is my favourite version of it. 7/10
I haven’t a four. It’s not great but if you like flappy bird and difficult to control frustration games it has a decent aesthetic. Slightly than some other mobile ports on the switch
Downloaded this as it looked like the kind of game I’d be into, but but the game was too broken still for it to work. I got way too frustrated. People online must be very forgiving because I found the whole thing unplayable.
I found this a poorly written game, which considering the writing I was surprised to see a positive review. I kept expecting it to get into ethics or have some sort of twist but it really went nowhere.
I got this game on sale for 99p and although it isn’t a game with any single player replay value and a small variety of gameplay styles, the simple local multiplayer is worthwhile if you can get it cheap. A fun party game worth having on your switch if you can get it on the cheap. 6/10

Re: Shu
A really cute underrated platformer that you can beat in a day, definitely worth picking up if it’s on sale and you’re a fan of gris or rayman
Re: Superola and the Lost Burgers
A broken game that annoyingly tries too hard with its ‘randomz’ aesthetic.
Re: History 2048
It’s worse than the free version you can get for your phone.
Re: Review: The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ (Switch)
One of the games I never stopped playing. Would recommend this as an essential on every switch

Re: SubaraCity
Spent many hours on this. Bought it expecting a different game. Was very disappointed. Eventually fell in love.
Re: Storm Boy
Maybe cute if you like the book before, it’s really janky though, if you like the story I’d maybe stay with the book
Re: Sid Meier's Civilization VI
Love it, started to prefer playing on switch to pc now I’m more used to controls
Re: Super Mario Party
Expected some dlc or an update, more turns are needed for longer games. More boards would’ve been nice as well. Always enjoy a Mario party but this isn’t the best one by a long shot
Re: Not Not - A Brain Buster
Like one of the more unfun Mario party mini games that everyone groans when you get it
Re: Mini Metro
Loved this game, so well designed and the switch version is the best. Surprised it isn’t a cult favourite. Easily best train game on the switch.
Re: Review: Mecho Tales (Switch eShop)
Even for cheap
I hated it
Remained untouched apart from for a final review before deleting
Re: KUUKIYOMI: Consider It!
Fun, good with friends, scratches a wario ware itch
Re: Game Dev Story
It’s not very good.... but it may also be addictive
Re: Review: Astro Bears Party (Switch eShop)
Got this two years ago and still play it with friends now, the update was much appreciated as well. (I’d say it warranted a re-review)
