Mini Review Wandersong - This One Can Really Hold A Tune
Pitch perfect
We recently asked if there were any Switch games we'd missed which you thought were worthy of a review. Wandersong was one of the most-requested games, so there we are! They say that music heals the soul, but can it actually save the entire universe? Wandersong seems to think so. You take on the role of a passionate bard who uses his...

Guide Best LGBTQ+ Switch Games
Play with pride
The games industry has not always been good at portraying LGBTQ+ relationships and identities, but thanks to the efforts of small studios, indie developers, and LGBTQ+ creators, that's beginning to change. Not only do we have enough games with strong LGBTQ+ themes on the Nintendo Switch that we can actually make a list, but all of...

Whats up with the complete lack of info on this game here. It seems to get great reviews yet on Nintendo Life it does not excist.
Still no review? Well I just finished this little gem when I picked it up on sale after Xmas. Relatively short maybe 10 hours or slightly less. Pretty linear in that there’s not much aside from main storyline. Standouts for me were the overall story ( a story not about the Hero?!), the controls (the singing was different and oddly refreshing), the characters ( quirky and relatable), and the art style. Overall I enjoyed playing this game.
@Mamabear So what would you rate it in the end
@Abeedo I would say a fairly strong 8/10. I still think rather highly of this game despite finishing it up months ago and I may play it again to experience the story again.
@Mamabear So is it as good as something like paper mario
@Abeedo I would say yes. Wandersong is definitely an indie gem- I would put it up there with Hollow Knight, Golf Story, Undertale, lconoclasts, Stardew Valley, etc. It’s a shame that it’s not raved about/ promoted as much as some others because it deserves it. I would say that I got more enjoyment playing this than other bigger production games even ( like Kirby Star Allies for instance).
@Mamabear Yeah Star Allies looks pretty underwhelming. Nowadays I don't spend as much money on games, so I make sure the games that I try are high quality. Thanks for your advice btw!
@Abeedo No problem. I don’t buy as many games as I used to either- just not enough time to play everything and I’d rather not shell out the money for something I’m not going to like. If you end up playing this let me know how you liked it!
@Mamabear Will do. May be months down the line though, but I'll keep it in mind
Just played this and thought it was superb. Charming, witty, fun and a much longer game than I expected for the price. One of the most fun indie games I’ve played this year, can’t. Believe how small the team was who made this 10/10
