@Friendly Plus we don't want to risk the next Mario coming out in late 2023, only for a new console to come out in early 2025. Basically means we don't get a new Mario for that console until late into the consoles life.
@Bolt_Strike This is because the Switch is old, but Nintendo has a new game planned out already for the next console. If they put a new Mario game on the Switch for example (lets entertain late 2023), and then early 2025 a new console comes out if lasts for 6 years, we'd probably not see a new Mario title until 2028/2029 (unless they pull a Galaxy 2 again, but they probably won't)
Would you rather still have Odyssey until we get a new console, or get a new Mario for the Switch, but the next console doesn't get a new entry until late into the consoles life?
@Bolt_Strike Kirby and the Forgotten Land Bayonetta 3 Bowsers Fury New Horizons Splatoon 3 Pokemon Legends Arceus Sparks of Hope (even if I'm not the biggest fan) Metroid Dread Mario Party Superstars New Pokemon Snap Clubhouse Games 51 Shantae and the Seven Siren
I'm not too shocked Engaged fell, but down to 7th? And how did Forspoken take 4th? Whatever, the Brits just love to buy terrible games, so why am I shocked?
@CharlieGirl And GoldenEye has aged like unrefrigerated bread. Confusing level design, abysmal enemy placement, frustrating missions with difficulty issues and more. People just pin it on "muh controller" when the controller is the least of their issues
So Winback, a game that has aged like wine, has fair difficulty and meaningfully innovated on the shooter genre (instead of just "being a good shooter on a console"), is #21
But GoldenEye, which has terrible enemy placement, confusing levels/missions and has overall aged like milk: got 3rd.
None of this matters for GoldenEye, Winback is better in every way, no matter which way you slice it. GoldenEye has aged like bread outside of a fridge

Aka, the two companies that carried E3 after Sony left are leaving (presumably)
EA and Ubisoft have big shoes to fill
Re: Review: SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake - The Best SpongeBob Platformer Yet
Is this really the best SpongeBob Platformer?
I think that honor goes to the Tiger Electronics Spongebob Platformer.
Re: Talking Point: Do We Need Another Pokémon Mystery Dungeon On Switch?
How about Pokemon Battle Revolution 2?
Re: Random: These Upcoming 'Mario-Themed' Pizzas Are Little To Do With Nintendo's Prize Plumber
For Mario themed foods, I think a tin-foiled rice crispy cat-bell would be nice
Re: Random: These Upcoming 'Mario-Themed' Pizzas Are Little To Do With Nintendo's Prize Plumber
The more variety the better. I know people allergic to mushrooms, so there should be more variety, or just non-mushroom variants.

Re: UK Charts: Fire Emblem Engage Tumbles Down To Seventh Place
@WiiWouldLikeToPlay Yeah, but then why are people yelling for nicher franchises (cough F-Zero cough cough)? Because sales don't equate quality
Re: Advance Wars' Delayed Switch Release Might Finally Be Reporting For Duty
@MH4 Yeah, but with an extra [hypothetical] year to do so, what else can that studio do besides add more content after awhile?
Re: Advance Wars' Delayed Switch Release Might Finally Be Reporting For Duty
@theModestMouse Newest SwitchForce report?
Re: Advance Wars' Delayed Switch Release Might Finally Be Reporting For Duty
@Browny Random, but nice pfp
Re: Advance Wars' Delayed Switch Release Might Finally Be Reporting For Duty
@MH4 Honestly though, what else can they do besides add another game?
Re: Advance Wars' Delayed Switch Release Might Finally Be Reporting For Duty
Reminder that Advance Wars is Putin's favorite video game
Re: The Mario Movie Will Be Coming Out Early In Some Parts Of The World
Waffle Nation will ruin the movie for all of us (unless its bad, which doesn't seem to be the case AT THE MOMENT)
Re: New Mario Bros. Movie Footage Shows Off Seth Rogan As Donkey Kong
"You got the Catbox. Now its time to die"
Illumination has truly evolved
Re: Feature: Video Game Music That Didn't Need To Go That Hard
@CharlieGirl Ohhhh
I thought it was in general
In that case, Winback's music goes hard, but R/S/E's music goes HARDER.
Re: Poll: Which Of Rare's Classic N64 Games Would You Like To See On Switch Online?
Conker being so high up is funny. Thats because its aged poorly, alongside GoldenEye (Winback is where it is at, baby)
