Re: Talking Point: Fire Emblem: Awakening - The Big Casual Mode Debate

Iggy

I think the casual mode is a great idea I'm sure they gained a lot of new fans with the new mode. I've played a lot of RPG's and even though this is a SRPG I've never felt so heart broken when one of my favorite characters dies. I reset if its one of my favorite characters or one that I've spent a lot of time training. If its a character I don't like I'll throw him/her under the bus.

@Tsuchiya
I wasn't saying your internet sucked. Was just telling you not to have unreal expectations of lag free online or convince others. I play halo a lot have 30 mbps internet way more then you need for console gaming and I experience lag in some form or another on occasion. Wasn't being rude or insulting you in anyway just saying lag happens.

Re: Hardware Review: Wii U

Iggy

Once I get a Wii U I might try out COD if there are frame rate issues I doubt there as severe as people say. Even then I doubt ill be able to notice them. Main reason ive never played a COD yet is I play Halo and dont want the controls to throw me off switching between games. Good time to start with Nintendos new console.

@Tsuchiya
Im not saying you will lag but it will happen. There will be a situation were your shooting at someone and there moving all over the place. Or when someones host with a bad connection which can get annoying. Doesn't happen a lot but it does happen just giving you the heads up.

Re: Hardware Review: Wii U

Iggy

@Tsuchiya
From what ive read it does have a lesser frame rate then the 360/ps3 version at times. Unless your playing super competitive it honestly doesn't matter just sit back and have fun. Most of the people that are talking smack about it obviously don't have it for wii u and don't realize its just a port.

Also its not lag free your going to experience lag maybe not today or tomorrow but you will and it might not be your fault either.

Re: Hardware Review: Wii U

Iggy

There's a few things that are bothering me the lack of optic and ethernet connections. Hopefully I can use my usb to ethernet adapter that I have for the Wii then that's fixed. But I haven't read of a way to use a surround sound headset on the Wii U. Hopefully they release a adapter like the xbox 360 has. Its going to be a waste of money sense last gen had these options but at least you will have them.

Its not going to be as unique of an experience as playing the Wii for the first time but its something new to home consoles. Its still going to feel unique and something that you can't do on any other console. I may have a few things that are bothering me but its not going to stop me from buying the Wii U.

Re: Iwata: We Don't Want To Emulate Xbox Live and PSN

Iggy

Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to have. Some games do it good others don't. But when they do it good they add replay value and make you do things you may have not done otherwise. Also some games think of some funny achievement names that are good for a few laughs.

Like many others I also don't want my account to be tied to one console. Nobody plans for the stuff to get stolen or accidentally break.

Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U)

Iggy

I prefer my Mario to be in 2D. Hopefully sense they release this at launch we'll see another Super Mario Bros Wii U game. Was going to buy this anyways but its good to see it getting good reviews. I will be buying this as my first Wii U game.

Re: Lack of "OMG" Idea Explains Borderlands Wii U Absence

Iggy

There really isn't any reason to have Borderlands right now there should be games using the gamepad at launch. Borderlands would just feel gimmicky with the gamepad just like a lot of games that forced motion controls on Wii games. Considering the Wii U is upped in price because of the gamepad I want to make sure im using it.

Re: Wii U Striking Balance Between Performance and Price

Iggy

I hope the price is anywhere around 300-350 i wouldnt mind spending that. But 400+ for a console is just to much in my opinion. Im sure there not going to price it at 250 if the 3DS is still selling for that much. So hopefully they only ask for 100 more bucks and cost 350.

Re: Nintendo Download: 18th April 2011 (North America)

Re: Activision and Sega Combine to Create Wappy Dog for DS

Iggy

Only if i was a kid this would interest me more. I remember they had something like this without the ds when i was a kid and i always wanted one. Parents never bought me one propally because we had a uh real dog . But this is a good idea for sure im sure kids or even adults would enjoy this.

Re: Prepare for Dragon Quest VI with A New Trailer

Iggy

I just beat Dragon Quest 9 yesterday so ill be getting this soon. Even tho that was my first dragon quest game im allready a big fan of the series. Hopefully this game has just as much things to do in 9 because I may have beat the game but im not even close to completing it.

Re: Brand New Conduit 2 Weapons Trailer Touches Down

Iggy

I really hope this game turns out to be good im not tring to get my hopes up sense the first was far from what everyone thought it was going to be. I really like the phase rifle hopefully they have more sniper rifles then the first which im sure they do. I will wait for a review before buying this but if it gets a good score i would have no choice but to pick it up.

Re: 3DS Too Full of Gadgets to Make a 3DS Lite Possible

Iggy

There going to be coming out with a new model down the road for sure. Whether they improve the battery or make the screens bigger. Or they could do what they did with the wii and only release different colors. Im just going to wait and see. Because as soon as the new wii comes out im not really going to care if i have a 3DS or not.

Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii Smashes 4 Million Units Block in Japan

Iggy

Not saying this is suprising or anything because it has mario in the title. But its defentally good news to see that everyone else still likes good old 2-D gaming. I hope they continue on make these 2-D titles because i will keep on buying.

I would love to see a console verison of a 2-D Metriod game i have no idea why nintendo hasnt made one yet.

Re: Review: Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii)

Iggy
