Capcom has treated its fans with a festive tribute to one of its most famous franchises, Mega Man. The blue-suited protagonist is seen battling his way through numerous winter levels spanning across various Mega Man titles, with 'O Come All Ye Faithful' providing some Christmas cheer throughout the video.
As well as wishing its community Merry Christmas, we imagine Capcom is psyching the fans up for a whole year of Mega Man 25th Anniversary celebrations in 2013.

I love you, Mega Man!
This music wasn't composed by Capcom... It was composed by Joseph Collins for a Fan Made Game by ACESpark called Megaman's Christmas 2. The remix is called "O Come All Ye Dreadful".
I love you Mega Man.
Capcom not so much.
The creator had to actually ASK to be linked after the video was uploaded.
C'mon guys it's Christmas and though they technically didn't make this, they are showing you that they at least CARE! C'mon it's Christmas be happy!
@Hyperstar96 Oh come on! It's christmas, and the fact that they still wanted to share something MM related is a start. I personally like it. That being said I don't want Mega man 11 to be made by a fan, however
So we are celebrating Megaman's 2012 25th Anniversary on his 2013 26th Anniversary?
Because we can ghirahim( and capcom probably didn't realize it). Anyway this video was really good.
in my opinion capcom is still crapcom. because they have neglected their giant fan base
@TheDreamingHawk: with the way this latest trend of theirs is going, it looks like MM11 will be a fan-made game. :/
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good Dr Light!
they have neglected their giant fan base
...by spotlighting fan creations.
Wait, what?
@TwilightPoint
No they did give him credit from the start but there was a mix up and they credited the wrong person. The problem is fixed and now everyone involved is 'k'.
Merry Christmas Capcom & NL!
@HawtWingz I see.
That's good to know.
Hopefully the Mega Man 25th Anniversary celebrations will exceed expectations.
Happy holidays everyone!
This is really cool and Nintendo Life should make a blog post dedicated to it so it gets more notice. This is a Fan video of what SHOULD be Mega Man X9 in honor of Mega Man's 25th!
@theblackdragon Don't worry about that. Remember when SF was gone for so long and people wanted it back? It's the same with MM, so it'll happen soon. Keep in mind it's hard for Capcom to do MM after Inafune quit, so that's where the main problem is. It's not like Capcom made EVERY major mega man game either, the GB titles were developed by a completely different company without Inafune, and those still did well.
That video was really good!
@WaveBoy Capcom never made the mega man GB games either. In SFXMM's credits, you actually can see that they had a lot to do with the game in terms of instruction details (They told the creator what to do)
@gundam00 That Mega Man X video was AMAZING!! MY GOSH!!! If I could play my Mega Man X games like that!! Hahaha!
@WaveBoy Calm down. Considering the way they've been treating the franchise the last year or two, be thankful that you got ANYTHING.
gang fight!
I think people will still find ways to ridicule Capcom, no matter what they do.
stand back ive just got persmission to name all the 8 bosses in mega man 11...
1-stew man
2-discount man
3-sensitive man
4-ham man
5-ziplock man
6-man man
7-luke warm man
8-paper cut man
This means new Capcom game is going to be Mega Man.
Seeing those stages from Mega Man 7, X1, and X3 makes me nostalgic...
Let's hope they reuse the Legends 3 assets in another game and do it justice...
The Mega Man X series was complete from Keiji Inafune's point of view with #5, since Zero's origins and story-relevant decisions were elaborated upon. Everything in the X series after X5 were just cash ins. The Zero series for the GBA continued after X5 to complete the X/Zero storyline. Though Capcom went ahead with ZX, there hasn't been a title in that series for years now.
Mega Man 9 and 10 already had a lot of fan support and input, so if they made 11, that trend would probably continue upward.
@gundam00 Very cool.
I just posted an entire article on my site discussing Capcom and its relationship to Mega Man. It's a shame that such a once great company has fallen so far in such a short period of time. Personally, I feel the fan community has done a much better job of supporting Mega Man than Capcom ever could. I just did an entire run this month showcasing a small fraction of the many excellent fan works for Mega Man and it has shown me that the fans just have more respect for the Blue Bomber than Capcom.
@Lord_Ghirahim
Mega Man turns 25 this December, so it's appropriate to start the festivities now.
Thank you and Merry X-Mas, Capcom and Mega Man!
@Paulcs2128
If that's true, Capcom has once again disappointed me. Just like with the whole Mega Man x Street Fightet debacle, they're piggybacking on someone elses work in a transparent attempt to win Mega Man fans over.
It isn't working Capcom. Stop. Please.
