Re: Feature: Exploring The "Switch Tax" And Why Nintendo Was Right to Use Game Cards

Ibberson

Still haven't got one but when you do have to buy multiple sd cards to store games it's going to require some confusion and annoyance trying to find said card with games on and if updates happen what card are they saved to and if you haven't got that one in the system it won't auto update when in rest mode, personally I think it's a very messy system to have and is putting me off even more getting one and I love Nintendo and it's games

Re: Soapbox: It's Nintendo's Job To Make Switch A Success, Not EA's, Ubisoft's Or Capcom's

Ibberson

It shouldn't rely on them but if their in the business to make money the shouldn't realise have gimmicky controled games on the system then blame people not buying them, if they support the system properly and produce proper games and give people chance to buy them then not only will they make money but the fan Base will also build, I don't own 2 home consoles and never will so will only buy games that I think have been made with effort rather then oh it's nintendo the players will want this rather then the game we are realising on other systems fifa is prime example of this

Re: Reggie Fils-Aime on Why the Wii U Was Misunderstood

Ibberson

Everybody I speak to about gaming all want power and graphics they don't really care for the games 1st, gaming has changed massively where it used to be seen as geeky past time now it's a mainstream pass time and people want they general 1st persons football etc.
They see nintendo as a children's company with lesser quality games it's not until they play some they realise the quality of the games nintendo need to loss this image and make sure companies put the generic games on the console (unfortunately) and get exclusives for them games (extra maps guns etc) to make people want to buy the next console

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Breaks Down Details on Nintendo NX and Nvidia's Tegra Technology

Ibberson

Sounds legit and hopefully is, as an old gamer using carriages would be good but think trying to convince new gamers would be hard as they'll see it for children. Just hope that developers find it easy to develop for as with the wiiu the said it was hard due to the fact that xbox and playstation used the same chip and nintendo didn't hopefully that's not going to be an issue otherwise sounds very promising think it'll do well as long as they get 3rd party games on it and (even tho I don't play them) the typical best sellers COD, battlefield, FIFA etc, people want a nintendo wiiu I've spoken to but they don't want just nintendo games

Re: Hands On: How Will the "Open World" Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Suit a Traditional Gamer?

Ibberson

Have to agree I'm 32 tomorrow got 3 children, wife and a job I'm sorry but it's very hard to find time to play games for anything more then an hour or two a couple of times a week wish I could but cannot find time love rpg and adventure games just shame have to put so many hour to fully enjoy them, guess companies arn't going to please everyone but it's nice to know I'm not only person thinking the same

Re: Talking Point: The Crowded Toys To Life Market Cut Its Weakest Link in Disney Infinity, Yet amiibo Should Be Safe

Ibberson

I love the lego toys to life range, I know it's a typical lego game but the actual toys are reasonably priced when you look at the other ranges, (you get 3 models and character in each pack, if not more in some level and character packs) only issue I do have with them it's only been 1 game and series 2 is planned for summer this year I know a new game is not due for another 2 years so how will the series add to this game as you can complete it all with series 1, that's going to be the real test of the range

Re: Nintendo Seeks a Trademark for Mario Coin Sound

Ibberson

I fully understand why nintendo are doing this and fully agree with them, they commissioned for the sound to be made so it's there property and so many rip off games use it, wouldn't be surprised seeing more of these trademarks servicing now mobile games are so popular, how many are blatant rip offs and never challenged yet if a game is released on a console it's challenged.

Re: Rhapsody is Now Available on the Wii U

Ibberson

I've had napster on wii u for a few months now, don't use it as prefer spotify plus you can't listen during playing games like I've heard you can on ps4 (don't have one so not sure how true)

Re: Feature: Have You Played... ZombiU?

Ibberson

Got a wiiu a few months after release with this game, it is a good concept one very rarely used in newer games 1 live and start again, (I know it's not from the start but you start with practically nothing) it's a shame not many people bought but that's what happens with day of release games you always go for something you know and trust
