I have 7 games on backlog on my 3DS. Doesn't matter, day 1 buy.

@BinaryFragger They are just talking right out of their nose. Honestly at this point, developers have use up pretty much all the lame excuses and lies.

1. Wii U install base is too small - Xbone is smaller
2. Wii U can't handle dem graphix - Games coming out on 7th gen
3. Wii U can't handle the engine - Games coming out on 7th gen
4. Game won't sell on Wii U - Without even releasing the game, it's like they can see the future
5. Prequel didn't sell well on Wii U - It was a freaking sh!tty port with no DLC and support

But you know what guys, they'll keep coming up with excuses. I don't know what's happening behind the scenes, but it seems like Ubi is starting to hate Nintendo lol. The worst part is that Nintendo doesn't seem to be concerned at all. At least from my eyes they aren't. So the best course of action is to get a PS4 for those multiplats goodness. Oh, or a gaming PC

@cornishlee Well AFAIK amiibos will be used for extra features in games and will not compromise the core gaming experience. If you hate extra contents on games, you might as well quit gaming all together because Sony and Microsoft is doing the same thing with DLCs and even worse, pre-order/retailer exclusive DLCs which I absolutely despise.

Like you said these toys have a good amount of potential to turn the Wii U into something that's different from their competitors. But the probability of them f*cking it up is so high. I have mild expectation for amiibo, but I'll probably ended up collecting all of them anyways...

@cfgk24 Yeah. Especially those with removable clothes. From what I heard you can't even pre-order them unless you spam clicks on the exact time when the pre-order starts.

@unrandomsam I'm sorry but the stuff on iOS are just garbage indie or not. True there are genuinely good games on there, but it is so scarce it's negligible. Most of the stuff on there are shovel ware, pay 2 win and cash grabs that offers no depths whatsoever. I own both an Iphone and a Samsung phone so I am well aware what is on there. Even with a gamepad, the controls extremely awful and clunky.

The pathetic state of mobile gaming is going to continue because it is making a lot of revenue on these platforms due to the gargantuan volume. Everybody nowadays either have an android or an Iphone.

Most of the stuff on the eshop is absolute garbage? You're kidding right? Compared to Googleplay and Appstore, it's a freaking gold mine. Sure there are some awful games on the eshop, but to call most of them garbage is comical.

If a person really wants a true gaming experience, a PC/Wii U/PS4/Xbone is a way better solution. Gaming on mobile devices is like going to mcdonalds. Sure you'll get the food to fill your tummy, but they're just junk.

As for Activision, I really think this is a good move. It'll attract people who have no intention on getting game consoles to be able to enjoy this game. If a person wants to get a Wii U/Ps4/Xbone, they probably have some other games they want to play on the platform so this will not affect their decision. IMO anyways.

If there is anyone who should be holding grudges against Nintendo, it's my parents.

Now make all the Eshop cards NFC read already. I freaking hate entering those stupid codes with awfully confusing 0/O, G/6 and B/8. It always give me a slight heart attack every time it says "Code Invalid"

Honestly though, Summer is the time of the year when I clear my backlog. So far I've cleared Far Cry 3, AC4, TLOU, Fire Emblem Awakening (on my 2nd play through on hard/classic now), COD ghost campaign, Pokemon Y, Megaman 4 and Starcraft 2 Campaign. I have 7 more games to go through....I'll probably leave it for next summer. Also I've been constantly playing multiplayer only games with no story such as Gundam extreme vs Full boost, Mario Kart 8, MH3U and Titanfall. So yeah my summer is pretty satisfying so far.

Man I really hope this discounts comes to NA.... I really want to get alot of games on there.

Fine wine? Yeah right, more like spoiled vinegar. Until this day, 2 years into development we still have not seen a single Wii U footage. What a cruel joke to Wii U owners.

If Slightly Mad thinks this game is going to be a hit on Ps4/Xbone, they are in for a big let down. Sony fan boys are going to buy Drive Club and Xbone fan boys are going to buy Forza Horizon 2. Their best chance was the Wii U and PC since competition is pretty much non-existent. By delaying the Wii U version, people are going to get pissed off and the sales will probably be flat.

@JaxonH Will the delay of the Wii U version affect my life? Absolutely not, however it does piss me off and I will not pick this game up until it hits 15 bucks in the recycle bin. Then the studio will blame us Wii U owners for not supporting them and the cycle continues.

I really hope this game sells well. Not only it shuts up those "Nintendo fans only buy Nintendo games", PG definitely deserves the sales simply because their games are absolutely amazing. W101 is damn awesome but it's sales was mediocre at best.

@Grumblevolcano Nintendo is the publisher for Bayo 2. So unless Nintendo gives the green light, this game will stay Wii U exclusive. And you know what? The law of probability suggest that would be the case.

I don't know about you guys, but this kinda looks like Activision is testing how their DLC would work on the Wii U. There is absolutely no reason at all for them to release this map on Blops2 after 2 years for free. Not to mention we also got the Free Fall map for free as well in Ghosts.

As we all know, Activision does not give stuff for free. It just seems like they are trying to figure out Nintendo's online infrastructure and these are just experiments.

I'm still waiting for an official SNES pad for the Wii U. Playing SNES games with the pro controller is nice and all, but it just feels "off"...Can't really put it into words. You get what I mean?

I guess the days of me getting a PS4 is getting closer. Once I've gotten a PS4, I will not buy multiplats on the Wii U anymore (unless there are a certain features that are exclusive on the Wii U like rayman legends etc).

Personally I don't understand the hate that surrounds COD. I freaking love the franchise. However I will not buy this new instalment on the Wii U. I got burned twice by both BO2 and Ghosts for not having DLC. Despite what people say, DLC is essential for the full COD experience. Especially the Zombie/Extinction mode.

Unless this new game will be getting DLC (which I seriously doubt), I will not be buying this game for the Wii U. Titanfall and Alliance of Valiant Arms on my PC is enough to keep my FPS itch scratched.

Until the games come out and the sales numbers are published, we have no concrete proof about anything. The games may increase the hardware sales and they might not. Time will tell.

I still vaguely remember there was a so called "gaming analysts" whom predicted Mario Kart 8 will only sell 2 million units at March 2015. Guess what? That guy just made a complete joke out of himself.

@PokeTune Nintendo's current situation is by no means "pitiful" compared to Sony. As for the console race (which I hardly give a damn about), you can only predict but only time will tell. Ever heard of the "Tortoise and the Hare" story? The PS4 could come in last place, you'll never know what'll happen in the future.

All 3 systems have big titles coming soon, it'll be interesting to see how they fare.

Dang, the PS4 is really doing badly over there. If this trends keeps going, I don't think the Japanese 3rd parties is going to abandon the PS3 and move to the PS4 anytime soon.

@PokeTune I'm sorry, but I think 160k vs 510k can be well defined as "getting better". That's almost 320% more than last years Q1. I think Nintendo or some folks on here are probably being too optimistic. However I do agree Nintendo still posting a lost is a bit sad.
