Re: Nintendo Reveals Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, A New Zelda Set 100 Years Before Breath Of The Wild

I know we have to wait for more details, but....will there be a bunch of characters outside of the champions? I haven't played the original Hyrule Warriors or other Warriors games, but I thought part of their appeal is the variety/ customization in fighting styles.

Also, wondering how they will have the mission selection. It would be interesting if it was semi-linear. Having different branching decisions could add another layer of replay-ability. That would also keep the spirit of Breath of the Wild's freedom of doing what you want when you want.

Re: 8BitDo Reveals Its New Customisable Arcade Stick For Nintendo Switch, Pre-Orders Now Live

I have been contemplating an arcade stick for several months now. Kinda want to wait for reviews before ordering. Who knows how long next shipment would take after these initial pre-orders though. Covid could potentially muck-up any later shipments.

Also, been trying to do a running tab on the games that I have that only use one type of directional imput (d-pad or single joy stick) at a time. The controller could change up the player experience enough to merit a revisit to some games.

Re: Review: PGA Tour 2K21 - A Good Starting Point For Golf Fans On Switch

I have so many fond memories of playing Tiger Woods on the Wii with my brother and dad. We did not follow golf at all, but it was one thing that brought us all together on the weekend. I hope they patch in motion-controls at some point. Doubt they would though. Don't know if it would have the same kind of magic without them. I know that nostalgia is strongly influencing how I feel about this game. Is it worth giving a shot? If anything, will probably wait for a sale.

Re: The Wonderful Sayonara Wild Hearts Is Getting A Proper Worldwide Retail Release

I love this game. Even though it has a higher price, it is totally worth it. I never liked rhythm games until I played this one. One of my favorite genres now. It feels really rewarding the more you play and master each level.

I recently re-downloaded onto my switch and there was an update. It feels completely different now. There are parts that have been sped up, others slowed down, and they cut some of the content. Some of the cuts make it feel a bit choppier. The updates made it slightly easier too. It is good that a developer updates a game based on player feed back, but I do not know if I like the update. The game feels different. I wish there was an option to switch to the original version. If you haven't played it before, you would not know the difference though. The sound track is still amazing.

Started playing Thumper and Runner 3 after Wild Hearts. Any other rhythm game recommendations?
