......politics are actually integral to a lot of game scenarios, but let's put that short-sightedness, and your bigotted, put-everyone-in-the-same-category, views on "refugee scumbags" aside and calm down, eh, you're obviously quite confused.

Does it come with any promotional materials, music player or any other extras that make it worth my money? Or is it just as bare bones as the rest of these hiked up old games I used to stuff 20p into decades ago? Dare I say - is it even any better than any other, free, old, emulation you can pick up? Or is fleecing people in the names of nostalgia still the name of the game?

Do the guys who made this have to pay Taito a fee so they can achieve such a sublime level of rip-offery? I can't tell you how many times I've paid for space invaders re-releases, so it seems unfair if these monkeys get to use it for free.

I have to admit my favourite Infiniminer clone is DQ Builders. I just find the Toriyama twist irresistible - and also a brilliant name for a dance.

It's more meh than cottage cheese.

Really couldn't get into this one. It was okay, but okay doesn't equal a purchase.

I will definitely watch this, it's a subject very close to my heart. Sounds similar to how Disney stomp about, vacuuming up the traditional tales and art of various cultures, then hollow them out to make a quick buck.

People who are super concerned by framerate drop can usually afford a lot of tech. Also, It's not subjective when elements have to be hacked away at to make something fit - it is not the original vision for the intended material, so therefore it suffered.

So we're milking 1930's animation trends for all they're worth now, eh? I just pray that we never get to a stage where the 70's underground comix phenomenon gets plundered and puked out to line some ill-deserving pockets......

Yes, but all those titles suffered in the process - why would you want a lesser experience when it's already there to be had in all it's glory elsewhere?

The switch does what the Switch does, and it's pure fun, but let the others do their thing and enjoy the rich variety on offer.

I agree, it's like Minecraft by way of Slayaway Camp via Meh Town, which lies just over the hill from Yawnsville.

I want this. It intrigues my jaded platformer sensibilities.

Shame, they could have turned this into a legitimate game after their little experiment with the first one. I really dig the pixel-cubist graphics, ala Ridiculous Fishing, and the whole re-riffed Monty Python humour, but like the review states it's an hour (max) experience, not a proper game.

The artistic execution of this game makes me want to slap the hands of people who use cheap photoshop filters and effects with a machete.

It's all about the pennies, nothing to do with who got who where. Business is cynical. Plus there's the whole thing about the game being extremely gorgeous and massive and wouldn't fit inside the tiny Switch.

Things must move on and there is a pretty low ceiling on the switch for graphical growth - especially for more "realistic" looking fare.

Switch can do it's own thing in it's own way though. I've always found the story and mythology of the Monster Hunter world lacking - it's mostly an empty template for someone to fill with something better. Just look at Toukiden 2 - that rocked up the formula some, the only way is up. Come on Nintendo, give us a new IP with that fresh Nintendo twist - this is a stale old beast anyhoo.

Anyone played the Hollywood one yet?

Nope, pump it up. It's a game that actually deserves all the chatter and QWERTYing - especially after the relative mediocrity of most DBZ games. Applause where it's due - same goes for booing and hissing.

Truth, my friend, truth, I have no doubt in the pulling power of the Switch for an obvious release, but then what are the downgrades, and even the downgrades on the downgrades when we're undocked?

It was a quick giggle when I played it on PS4, and it was like £2 so I'm glad I had the experience of it, but it definitely was more of a short experience than an actual game.

If Nintendo let 'Tennis' get released then I doubt there would be any chin-scratching over this slice of gold.

I hate to burst bubbles here, but the near-identical to the anime graphics of FighterZ are part of the selling point of this game. It's not often I will opt for graphics over gameplay, however, if you want to be playing something based as closely as possible on something as aesthetically striking as BDZ, then why would you want to compromise with the utter pump that's being called a screenshot up there?

I loves my switch but, in this instance, I'm oh so very glad I've got a PS4.

*Edit - sorry, just realised that is a video.......the horror.....the horror....

Hope that stuff's from a sustainable source - I'd rather have a forest chock-full of wildlife (not to mention awesome backdrops for samurai/ninja films) than this ostentatious frippery.

Looks interesting but I gots to agree with your aesthetic appraisal.

I can't get past the fact that this looks cheap as hell. More akin to bumf like Senran Kagura than the glory days of SNK's best. Most disappointing 40th anniversary celebration ever?

Also can't help but think that anyone throwing out a fighting title post-Dragon Ball Fighterz better buy a clue. Especially if it's an "aimed at all levels" affair, 'cause that game is tuned and god-like.

Decent score - played this and the add-on when the PS4 was my mainstay. I always found a fair bit of the of the gameplay to be based on random luck though (or lack thereof as was usually the case), which made me want to crumple my pad up like a wet ciggy packet on a regular basis.

Damn straight - I will always love and play games, no matter which way the market goes, but I grew up with the tactile and substantial feeling of owning and collecting physical copies. I understand about resources and costs and what not, but A.) I have yet to find a digital game that hasn't cost me more than a physical release, so the sums just don't add up, and B.) there's something underwhelming about having my games just floating in the ether, ready to expire at some games company's sanction, especially should my console go arse-up somewhere down the line.

I already miss the days when used to sit on the bus back from town reading a sweet, chunky, instruction booklet. It was all part of the magic.

Wonder if there's any chance of a package of ZX speccy games too, Manic miner & JSW etc. - akin to the Elite app on iOS? That would set my loins ablaze!

Slick! This is a day one for me, loved Planet Robobot and still dig Mouse Attack for the old school Kirby flavours with a more up-to-date twist. Honestly can't wait.

Played this and Super One More Jump and SOMJ has the edge - the level designs, tightness of control and unlockable characters/skins just cuts this off at the knees.

Still a good game but can anyone say switch tax, much.

Holy recycling policy Mario! You don't want 'em? give them to me! if the game plays and runs like it's supposed to I couldn't give a toss if it's coated in official Nintendo shrinkwrap or wrapped in wet lettuce.

Mario looks a coked-up freak on a head stomping rampage! "Mama Mia! You will not take any more the board of director's coins - they need a gold plated barnacle scraper for thier yatchs!!!"

I want this badly but its scores so far make me hear the tiny pitter-patter of add-ons and a physical release further down the line, so I'll be waiting - impatiently!

It didn't last long or have enough truly outstanding games. I want more bang for my buck.

Yeah, Switch tax is monstrous on a lot of stuff - I nabbed Spellspire and Letter Quest on PSN for half the pennies they've got it on the switch store for.

You can't charge double just becuase I can play it on the sofa or on the move - it's still just one game!

Looks like Salt and Sanctuary on amphetamines! I'm in!
