Re: Soapbox: Bayonetta Deserves to be in Super Smash Bros.

Hachiko

She's an awesome pick for the roster, even though I wanted Inklings so bad, I will never argue that.

But she needs a nerf or two. I could go on and on about what all she can do, what weird things other characters can't do to her and so on. Also, Corrin got some weird glitches going on, that NEEDS to be patched before EVO.

Also, Daddy Sakurai, after your vacation please buff Samus, Palutena, and Zelda. They need it. They aren't bad or unusable, but they need some work.

@Jazzer94 Holy cow I didn't think this would derail the comment section. Sorry everybody...

But since its off the rails! Listen, as @Senerio seems to over look about my rant is this and I quote. "Melee is awesome and takes more skill than most games." However, finding distaste toward another game because the meta is different is extremely ignorant.

It'd be like saying Basketball takes no skill because golf has a smaller ball and a smaller hole to put the ball in. Or skateboarding isn't a sport because it's new and only young whippersnappers play it. Much like Pokken or even SFV, these games have yet to be proven, but I have no doubt in my mind they will pool some attraction. Not to mention, you don't have to play the game/sport in order to appreciate the level of skill it takes.

So the Melee players can stick to their guns, because they truely do have a talent most cannot achieve. I have tried to play melee, but it does not click. All in all, we must learn to respect each individual game that makes its way into thr circuit as an entirely new sport with its own set of rules. That being said, Pokken will have to still prove itself. Not all sports and competitions are worthy of being an olympic event, just the same not all games are worthy of EVO. But I'll give this one a chance.

Re: The Game Lineup for EVO 2016 Has Been Announced

@Zombo Lol, no. I respect melee, sm4sh and melee, dispite similar control schemes, have entirely different metas. It's when hardcore melee fans poop on everything else that doesn't have a wave dash or isn't 15 years old. That puts a damper on things, and thats when I really start to dislike the melee community. Melee is awesome, and takes more skill than most fighting games. But you don't see tennis players in hives disrespecting badmitten players cause their ball is a weird wiffle thing with slightly different rules. In all of these games the objective is the same: make your opponent's health/lives go bye bye.

Rant over.

@ningeek185 You leave him out of this he's sensitive! Lol I like that thing for real though...so derpy. Personally I think there need to be derpy pokemon to balance out the cool ones. Some should be simple in design, some should be complicated, and some should be stupid! Ever see a real animal and think, "Man that thing looks dumb (like poodles)" Like that, but with pokemon.

Otherwise we just get a bunch of edgy, over the top, wake me up inside, kingdom hearts, hot topic, bullcrap. Then there's no balance. I love the over the top design with this thing. But the Ash Greninja...I don't get.

Re: Satoru Iwata Didn't Apologise For Nintendo's E3 Digital Event, Says Reggie Fils-Aime

Hachiko

You wanna know something? Warning: Long Read. Wanna know who I'd blame for Federation Force? Which will be an okay game seeing how Next Level is making it. I blame the Metroid fans. This is why.

"Ugh! We want another edgy darker Metroid game with more story."

"Other M comes out. Samus trembles before Ridley."

"This is bull****! Samus wouldn't have PTSD after watching her parents dying from this thing. No way. She would never act like a normal human being. Or take orders from the federation even though she walked in at their freaking operation!"

I thought Other M was okay. It's gameplay style was new, it had a story, and the overall experience was okay. So when Nintendo saw the backlash that recieved, even after working with Team effing Ninja on the game. They went the route of a stylized four player co-op game to expand the overall universe. I also can't believe theirs a petition to cancel the game, seeing how theirs literally very little to base our judgement on. How do you guys not know if their will be different sets of armor? How long is the campaign? What's the story? How many weapons? You guys are acting like the Zelda fans when Windwaker came out...so for s***'s sake give the game a snowballs chance in hell before blowing everything out of the water all because, "No Saaaaaamus. Its not eeeedgy. I dunt waaaana play as the federation, who are pretty much the space police that are existant in the Metroid lore just as much as Samus and the Chozos." What your really saying is that you don't want to see the franchise expand. If it expands it WILL get more attention, and MORE games will be made for it.

Keep Calm, and Force On

Re: Poll: How Excited Are You About Nintendo's E3 Games?

Hachiko

Whoa, no love for Happy Home Designer? You guys do know you can decorate a school, hospital, pick where they live, and put all indoor furniture outside right? I get not wanting the amiibo party...but the new 3ds Animal Crossing? Looks great in my opinion.

Re: Metroid Prime: Federation Force Producer Explains Why Samus Aran Isn't In The Game

Hachiko

Hey guys remember when Pokemon was a race game? When Zelda became a Dynasty Warriors? When Toad got his own game without Mario? When Kirby was caught in an explosion next to a yarn shop?

Yeah...all of those games. Different from the original formula. Some, without their main heroes, and those games were okay. Some great. At least its letting us play as a whole faction of metroid soldiers to play with. It looks fun, so get over it.

Re: Metroid Prime Producer Wants to Make Another Sequel With Samus, "Not Involved" in 2D Titles By Yoshio Sakamoto

I went back and liked the YouTube video for it. Our reaction is waaaay over the top, and at this point were just whining like all of those who saw Windwaker announced for the Gamecube. They said, "Link's a cartoon now? This is bullsh1t! Wheres my ocarina?" And look at those people now...huge fan boys of Windwaker as it is regarded as one of the best in the series.

Calm down my friends. We are in good hands. Just watch some gameplay of it, you may see its a charming 4 player sci fi monster hunter game. It also expands the universe and introduces a younger crowd to the franchise. You do realize children are the primary audience for Nintendo dont you? Some of us kids just got bigger.

Re: Guide: Use these Splatoon Tricks & Advanced Techniques to Improve your Inking

Hachiko

Here's 4 tips I've learned:
1. Turf still matters in Splat Zones. Don't always charge in. If your in control push on the enemy lines so they have to waste time laying down their ink paths again. This also gives you options over the terrain and allows you to ambush them easier.
2. Get good at hiding in walls, and let them pass by you before jumping out. This can give you a serious upper hand. Even in Turf Wars, killing people is still rather important, as it gives you uncontested time to cover their turf.
3. DO NOT! Charge into the enemy base alone. All that turf you just covered will be covered momentarily after your death. Patience is a virtue.
4. Lastly, three small tips to winning.
1.Keep your eyes on the map.
2. Keep your stupid eyes on the map.
3. Keep your d*mn stupid eyes on the map.

Re: YouTube Stars Aren't Happy With Nintendo's Revenue-Sharing 'Creators Program'

Listen. It does sound easy right? Play games make money. But the amount of work that goes into it...baffling. for one! You have to keep a running commentary. Play a various amount of games to keep people entertained. Video editing to keep things interesting. And dont mention audio levels...ita hard stuff. oh...and theres a bazillion of us. So standing out is near impossible.

Re: The Denpa Men are Coming to Your 3DS Next Week

Hachiko

Allow me to elaborate the mechanics of the game with proof.

This game does use radio waves to find the denpa men. Thats why this game would work so well in cities. For instance, I played the demo in my dorm room at college. (i never plan on giving up on new ideas.) When everyone was here playing their PS3's, xbox 360's, radios, tablets, computers, I got several different colors of the denpa men. However, about everyone in my hall left for home over the weekend. Now when I search...nothing. Wes even says so.

I was skeptical as well at first. I thought it just used the colors on the screen like the AR games did with fishing. But its official, this DOES use radio waves. And depending on the frequency, gives you your different colors. Guess Ill go turn on my car radio and have at it.^^ There ya go ya'll
Happy Gaming.
