Re: More Than 1500 Cheaters Took Part in Pokémon's 2013 Global Showdown

GuSolarFlare

cheating is for the weak!!!!! but I do think they should make at least the IV stats visible (and if they're in a good mood the EV too) it's horrible to EV train you favorite poke just to discover it sucks in defense because of IV and start losing because you've trained defense not speed but your defense IV suck so you're OHKO'd by anoter EV trainer.......

Re: Zombie Title How to Survive Confirmed for the Wii U eShop, Without Online Multiplayer

GuSolarFlare

it's not that bad having incomplete content... at least it's a step forward from the wii's 75% of the 3rd party support being random shovelware junk(I mean, to find some good third party games it was nescessary to dig really deep in the wii library, with a few exceptions).... if things keep progressing like this nintendo will have full support by the next gen(or the one after that)

Re: Boy Credits Mario Kart After Taking Control of Car and Saving Lives When Grandmother Passed Out

GuSolarFlare

well it's kind of truth that when you spend too much time playing games pressuring situations become just a simple question of choices. I mean you start looking at things with a more decisive point of view, but it's also true to say gamers tend to avoid complicated situations in real life as much as they can, it's good and bad at the same time....
edit:but I still bet it was mario kart 7 and not mario kart wii because of the first person mode!

Re: SEGA Reportedly Interested in Acquiring Atlus' Parent Company

@Caryslan that fire emblem censorship is pretty easy to explain:
it was really bad joke I mean when you censor something people will feel like it was something big and get even more interested the thing is they wanted the players to believe it was something they couldn't show the problem is that they forgot people have internet and that this "censorship" would backfire as soon as the players discovered it was nothing big.-that's my theory.

Re: SEGA Reportedly Interested in Acquiring Atlus' Parent Company

GuSolarFlare

I personally hope no one of the three(sony, microsoft and nintendo) gets atlus I mean everyone has their favorite console/pc/gaming device, so if a company that makes so many great games as atlus is bound to a specific system(or group of systems) less people will have fun!
I might be a nintendo gamer but before that I'm a gamer it's plain and simple like this: gamers should be happy when the games are good regardless of the console it runs on and even happier when it runs on more consoles without having to be downgraded(unless it's some cool artistic "downgrade" that makes it even more fun!)
So I have to say GO FOR IT SEGA!!

Re: Ocarina of Time Speedrunner Explains How To Beat the Game in 22 minutes

I personally love glitches even though they are faster than normally playing the game they are also much much extremelly harder. actually the only cool and useful glitch I've ever seen that's actually so easy anyone can do is the cloning glitch in pokemon emerald. glitches are normally hard to achieve and need perfect timing and precision trying a hard to do glitch might take your mind and thumbs to the limit and still make you get frustrated when you get the hang of the hardest part of it just to forget what to do next and having to start over! I love single player glitches!!!!! but multiplayer ones are bad because you're in a competition(or cooperation) in competition paralell rules not directly present in the game are applied!
also I still like writing things with bold letters!!!
edit*that guy is awesome to use so many glitches at once and finishing OoT so fast*

Re: Soapbox: Mobile And Tablet Gaming Is Creating A Generation Of Talentless Players

GuSolarFlare

games are games to me, regardless of platform as long as they are made with their respective platforms in mind there's no use for a complex fighting game like street fighter in a tablet(without modifications or accessories to help) but there are some games that simply won't feel right on a dedicated videogame(things like those social games where you tap like a fool just to wait a notification saying everything is ready for you to go tapping again!, hope someone finds a better example because everything else can be done in most videogames nowadays). I like those casual games on my phone for moments when I can't play my videogames, like now that my 3DS' R button is broken and my other videogames are somehow unplayable, or when I'm not home and the situation forces me to wait a long time(a really common and recurring situation since 3DS, not sure about the XL though, and pockets don't normally mix well)
edit I really like these bold characters but if it's anoying let me know so I can stop

@shinokami I'd have put a PLUSH Bob-omb in it!(but I guess it was pretty obvious it wouldn't be a real bob-omb, I mean they don't even exist!)
because if you will troll the people you've got to do it with style!
but I would've waited 'till a less tense moment. pranks are cool, but bomb pranks a short while after a real bombing is being a jerk!

Re: The Story of an Abandoned Mega Man FPS, Maverick Hunter, Emerges

GuSolarFlare

I can very well see a Third person shooter megaman game in the Kid Icarus: Uprising style but not really a FPS. one cool thing about megaman is the fact you can see the megaman/other playable char all the time what I mean is that every megaman game I've played was like this iconic gaming figures like mario, megaman and sonic is that they only leave the screen when the player is using other character or in cutscenes that's the "charm"(for the lack of a better word) in these gaming mascots.

Re: Review: HarmoKnight (3DS eShop)

GuSolarFlare

I liked the demo. the bike song was the one I played the most(good old times when pokemon music was stuck in my head. the new pokemon games DO have good music but the old ones were mostly memorable). back to the harmoknight subject I just won't get this game yet because I'm saving money to get an arduino.

Re: Fez Creator Believes Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is More Suited To Vita

GuSolarFlare

I don't think this guy is a sony fanboy... he seems more like a nintendo hater to me. I mean, won't PS4 have a "second screen"? if he was a sony fanboy he would probably stay away from the "second screen" thing. and who cares what someone else thinks? if wanted to know if MH3U for 3DS was good I'd ask someone I know or read a bunch o reviews. also game developers aren't(normaly) marketing experts, so this guy probably forgot completely the market, and if someone asked him he would almost surely say something like "capcom is full of money they don't need to think about sales".
if anything I wrote here is wrong(even if it's only grammar) give me a pointer so I can change it, and become at least a little less ignorant at the matter.
and to close my statement I must say 3DS' 3D is AWESOME for any game that doesn't require you moving the 3ds(at least for me)!
